Lmaoo me too! Randomly started singing “wake up, put on my makeup” and couldn’t for the life of me the name of the song and who it was by. Thanks to Google, I found it in a heartbeat.
Words can't express how obsessed I was with this album when it came out. Tasha-Ray was my obsession, I loved her voice. Years later, glad it stands up to my memories. And God, how gorgeous is she?
This song has always been a random favorite of mine, I cannot believe it's going to be 20 years old next year. I remember sitting my dorm room watching this video on MTV, my god where did the time go??!!
Used to hear this a lot on the radio even like 10 years ago…. I thought it was so good, but there’s so little views. Anyways, this sound and voice is literally how I feel the vibe of my childhood years were. Whatever this genre is, is what I feel like the years 2000-2006 were 😂
I still have their CD! It takes me back to high school and english classes where I used to translate their lyrics from english to portuguese. good times!
I remember sitting outside my big sister's room when she would blast this song, along to other bop makers like Avril Lavigne, Britney Spears, etc... This song was always my favorite though
I was doing my make up this morning and I swear out of no where I started singing the chorus to this song thinking “I know o didn’t just make this up” so I searched the first words of chorus and unfolded a memory I didn’t know I had 😅 haven’t heard this song in over 10years !!
These days I'm playing this song at night, when I can't sleep. Its really describes where I'm at right now, and I'm appreciative that this song exists. Thank you for posting this video. Also, ironically enough, it's been raining where I live everyday, for about 2 weeks straight.
I remembered the song was such a rare song to hear in the radio because that time lillix was a kind of indie group and in my country there was the only one radio station to put this song on. The great nostalgia.
I miss them. I have cherished Lillix since in the senior high school. When many girls danced in that era, they played their own musical instruments and wrote their own lyrics. they are super cool. music in my teen era are cooler
The-N was the best tv channel ever.. Degrassi, Instant Star, The Best Years, Caitlins Way, South of Nowhere, Being Eve, 24seven, I loved every show they played
Tasha , Fefe dobson , Avril , Skye Sweetnam , Jojo , Hilary Duff. im Glad i had awesome Girl singers to look up too when i was a Teeny Bopper girl :] instead of nowa days :\
Lillix, Avril Lavigne, Fefe Dobson, Skye Sweetnam, Kelly Clarkson, Ashlee Simpson, Orianthi, Allison Iraheta, Everlife, KSM, Aly & AJ, Krystal Meyers, Marion Raven, Megan McCauley, Superchick, Paramore, We Are the in Crowd, Hey Monday, Tonight Alive, Chrissy Costanza (from Against the Current).
This song and music video have a depressing and weird meaning for me. I listened to it my freshman year of high school and watched the music video- the year that my paranoid schizophrenia began and the last time I felt sensations- I was depressed until the end of high school and then I got diagnosed with schizophrenia. this music video and song bring back weird feelings for me, it was like an orchestra of sensations playing inside of me from an orchestra that wasn't me or my doing. I wonder if others feel the way I used to. I was bursting with sensations from sights, smells, and sounds, this music video brings back those weird sensations again.. it's depressing, it's interesting to watch it and experience memories of it though. I don't know if anyone else feels what I did and if they do about this music video too. My life is so hard
I doubt you’ll see this comment since it’s been 4 years, but I’m curious if you’d be willing to elaborate on the different sensations and thoughts that you experienced? I dated someone for almost 6 years who lied about being schizophrenic, but I found out after 3 years and I’ve always been curious as to how his lies compare to someone who is actually diagnosed. Only if you feel like sharing! I don’t want to sound like an asshole demanding an answer
Much good vibes to you persongirl89, yeah this song isn't necessarly the happiest from the get go but in the end of the song "I'll be okay" which is nice to hear
Been searching and searching for this. Thank god i finally found it! And thx to my memories, but god gave me my incredible memories, so thx god again! *HEY! Also found the song of "Liz Phair - Why Can't I" I tough it was Lillix too, I'm surprised! Andd you remember this song, right? "Whhhyyyyy cccaaaaaaannnn't IIIIIIII breathe, whenever I be without you?"*
"I need to break out, get me some takeout!" might not be the most creative lyric of all time, but it's still pretty cool. Loved this song back then and still do.
Yes, it's 2011 and you're still listening to this. GET OVER IT, it's not like this is from the 1960s. I fact it would be better if you listened from stuff from back then.
I loved this song when I was younger this shit just made me cry because who really fucking feeling the lyrics rn and how you can relate so hard . #getbettetamerica
Hadn't heard this song in years, and it came to mind today at 37 years old knowing my ex is getting married and I have to move on and learn to love and value myself again. I'm a guy, but this song is powerful...especially the part of "I need to scream out loud" and the "We'll be alright."
I just randomly remembered this band. Memories
Same 😂😂
Oh, the nostalgia!
Literally me right now lol
Lmaoo me too! Randomly started singing “wake up, put on my makeup” and couldn’t for the life of me the name of the song and who it was by. Thanks to Google, I found it in a heartbeat.

Words can't express how obsessed I was with this album when it came out. Tasha-Ray was my obsession, I loved her voice. Years later, glad it stands up to my memories. And God, how gorgeous is she?
It's scary how a song that impacted my teens is still as relevant to life now, but in a completely different way.
I hate you COVID-19.
the lyrics to this song are terrible. they were cool at 14 but if you havent matured since then that's not something i'd brag about online dude
Go away troll :)

This song has always been a random favorite of mine, I cannot believe it's going to be 20 years old next year. I remember sitting my dorm room watching this video on MTV, my god where did the time go??!!

The name of this band was driving me wild for 3 days!!!! I'm glad I finally found it. Seriously who could forget the name Lillix? LOL

I was doing my make up this morning and I swear out of no where I started singing the chorus to this song thinking “I know o didn’t just make this up” so I searched the first words of chorus and unfolded a memory I didn’t know I had 😅 haven’t heard this song in over 10years !!

the era of music where lyrics didn’t matter as long as you sound dramatic enough.
