thank you so much for these free lessons. my great aunt was the last of my family who could speak polish. she was the first generation born here after her mom fled poland during WWI. while my auntie was dying, i made a promise to her to learn polish. at that moment, she smiled for the first time in days. she was on hospice and drugged up on morphine but could hear that so clearly, i told her kocham Cię, which i only learned before walking in the room so i could make sure to say it to her. ❤ your lessons will help me fulfill that promise to auntie.

Im 52, from Sweden. As a little boy I spoke polish with my babcia every day but she passed away in 1987 and I havent spoken polish since then. I thought I had forgotten it all but as I started your Lesson 1 I quickly realized that I actually remembered alot. Dom, Sklep, Jest and so on, it all just came back.

Don't follow the worldly trends follow Jesus Christ today

Heaven and hell is real cone to the loving savior today
Today is the day of salvation tomorrow might be to late come to the loving savior today
      John 3:16-21
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
      Mark 1.15
15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
      2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
      Hebrews 11:6
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

I just subscribed - my wife is Polish, and when were dating and first married I learned a little Polish. Maybe 15-20 Polish words and phrases at most. Now, 32 years later, I sadly never progressed. Today I decided to try to learn a little each week for a long time to come. Her Polish "Name Day" is in a few weeks, and I'd like to surprise her with a little progress by then.

I like this, it's nice and slow. It's much better than having a full blown grammar grid thrown at you in a textbook without any vocabulary, pronunciation, or context to practice building on it (middle school and highschool Spanish, French and German). Way back in my college days, I had another foreign language teacher (Japanese) do something similar, using phrases with basic grammatical constructs for each character/letter. My dad's side of the family is Polish-American - been teaching myself on and off (My dad's side all knew some Polish words, phrases and songs here and there). Thinking of picking it up as it's been awhile since I've delved into learning another language.

My mother spoke Polish until she went to grade school, then learned English by total immersion as no one spoke Polish. This was my first experience with any Polish. It was a good video. I might try and learn so Polish after discovering my great grandparents were from Poland back in WW2. They never taught any of their children polish as they were told not to so I am a bit interesting to learn just some common phrases in it.
