My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. The book " Polyglot Notes" became a desk book for my brother, because it has answers to all the problems that any student of a foreign language has to face. Thanks to the author of the channel for this interesting video! Good luck to everyone who studies a foreign language and wants to realize their full potential!
I'm from South Africa and I have a Polish client who struggles with English, so I took the initiative to learn basic Polish phrases, my client and her husband were greatly impressed by my short phrases that I have learnt from this channel... so thank you for helping me help them more effectively!!!
So I am trying to go backward now. I used to speak fluent Spanish a couple decades ago. My accent was SOOOO bad. Native Spanish speakers made fun of me (nightmares about ordering cuarenta y tres, us Appalachians struggle with the ua + a rolling R.) Now I speak a little Polish but my accent is so much better. Thank you to you and the other Polish UA-camrs for setting me right. I started with the accent first this time. I think I was right. My last trip to Poland carrots were in front of me and I said excitedly "Marchewka"! I was almost right. I was proud, and my host was impressed. I appreciate that she dumbed it down and gave me my ego and said "Tak, marchewka." I didn't need it. Marchew, dangit! I'll never forget now.

I work in a kitchen with some polish colleagues and I love learning and talking in polish.
I like how you teach, sound it out slowly, clearly and then in the normal tone of speaking. Thank you.
