- The 2021 Ford Ecosport has long been a popular choice for those looking for a budget crossover. It used to be the only available option in the small crossover segment, and it successfully took market share away from the Toyota Vios and the Mitsubishi Mirage. Other Japanese carmakers came out with small MPVs to combat the Ford Ecosport, like the Honda BRV, the Suzuki Ertiga, and the Toyota Rush. However, the 2021 Ford Ecosport Trend still proved to be classier in looks and style. Nowadays, there are a lot of new contenders in the budget crossover segment, spearheaded by the Geely Coolray, the Chery Tiggo 5x and the Tiggo 2, and the GAC GS3, to name a few. Even Korean giants like Kia and Hyundai took notice, since they now have the Hyundai Venue and the Kia Stonic. Side Mirrors: Close to the edge of the side mirrors is a light visible line. This marks where the wide angle mirror starts. That’s why there’s no need for you to add those circular wide angle mirrors.

The seats do fold flat! U need to flip the back seat cushions up than flip back rest. After that raise the cargo floor to the 3rd shelf as the cargo floor is adjustable for that purpose

Good video Rey.... you almost said more bad things than good about this ar which is refreshing because you need to aspire to be objective when reviewing the cars. Since you mention discounted Trend manual transmission you could've instead reviewed that Manual Model. It would be nice to see you doing few reviews of manual models. I suggest you start with Suzuki Ciaz GL m/t..... you would be pleasently surprised as you were with VW Lavida some time ago!

I don't have anything from what he noticed in my EcoSport and I really like the car , only the down side for me the seats too hard for me in long drive that sometimes i feel some back pain that all and no tech in car at this price point which should already provided like others car manufacturers. There something strange also I had Crozes control in my trend which strange why they don't had it in Philippine.

On my Ecosport, there is no spare tire. There is a pump and a bottle of liquid latex in its place.

To me, I think one should get the Geely Coolray lowest variant (Comfort) instead.

If you look properly in the back seats they have a loop that you can lift up the bottom seats then lower down the backs and it folds totally flat, lol 😂

I think the ambiente is the base, the trend is a mid variant.
2021 Ecosport doesn't have the Ambiente variant anymore.
Have a feeling Ford doesn’t want to call it “Eco “ sport because the doesn’t want people think it’s great on gas as I myself owns one and it isn’t the best but it’s ok on gas. So hence that why in my option they want it to be called “Echo” sport

@@corolla9545 no not really. In fact, ford is leading in sales in terms of 4x4 pick up, and compact crossover. But i agree with you, the ecosport just doesn't look good anymore since the design was the same from 2015 i believe
@@Homer-vn1it their Raptor just hyped the competition, its greatest rival would be the Navara Pro4x, I think people now eyeing the Navara, Ford trucks are plague with engine and transmission issues. And Ford's Territory not doing good too, lousy to be compared to a much more capable and powerful Geely CoolRay.

Same difference. But if we're gonna be technical about it, SUVs are ladder-frame, Rear wheel drive or 4WD vehicles while crossovers are unibody, front wheel drive or AWD vehicles.
