That was excellent.

Was listening to this in my phone playlist on my way to work this morning.
Love this song!!! Reminds me of watching in concert three times... Memories of Chastain Amphitheater in Atlanta in the 80's... 😉❤️🐻🎶☘️

Unmistakably Bruce. Love it! Will see him in September!
Parabéns pela suas belas músicas Bruce❤
Awashin' in joy over this way, watching those inner (Over, Under, Sideways and Down) children playing in playground. Infectious happiness- 'Flicted in the best possible way. Big thanks!
I don't know if UA-cam will kick this out with an "error returned" message. But I think that it kind of goes with this in a way. That playful happiness. The sweet feeling. ua-cam.com/video/eZ4B13ngUrY/v-deo.html
Friday night 1:30am, no idea why this has been squeezed in the normal “play next” recommendations, but the video kept me interested. Cracked the algo
Great video!! Summer fun!
Instantly taken back to the Red Plains, 86, when my obsession started. Joyous ❤
Mine goes back to 1978 when I got to hang with him some when he played locally in Virginia. The first time I heard his local band I thought if this guy doesn't make it in the music business there is something seriously wrong. Got to sit in on a recording session in 1978 in New York City when my Air Force Band was also in town. Saw him in 1986 in Germany as the opening act with Huey Lewis and got to go backstage with him and his drummer Molo. OK.. I am done name dropping. 😊
@@DrummerDanVa as a drummer, meeting Molo...that would have been something. I don't know if this link will work, but you might enjoy this. (If the link doesn't work, it's the interview with Molo by Jake Feinberg. We'll see if yoyutube allows this...ua-cam.com/video/DzF60IkxRy8/v-deo.html
@@DrummerDanVa in the UK, we shout KLANG, when name dropping 😥. Best line ups, Molo, Marinelli Jr, Puerta, JT Thomas, Harris. There's a bbc recording of the 1988 concert at Hammersmith, London. Possibly my best night out, ever
1985 for me. When I heard that jazz piano in "The Way It Is" it spoke to my experience growing up in the 60s - the decade of assassinations. When the album came out, I played it all the time. I'd married what turned out to be a horrible person and over that year finally realized he had to go when I was three months pregnant with our child and caught him cheating on me. It was such a blessing to know before my son could be affected by it. That jazz piano was a balm for my soul. Every time I hear it (and I can pick Bruce's signature style of jazz piano out of almost any song) it is so soothing, just like this video was today. ☺
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great stuff indeed. From Chris Poo in South Africa
fantastic energy, I hear some of the band's live recordings over the years coming through in this one! Travelling from the UK to the LA shows, can't wait! :)
❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉😊
Ha...JT has some moves there!! Great idea, grab the phone and shoot it man!
This happening by the participants felt spontaneous and real... Bruce:s music... what a beautiful place to be in 🙏🏼❤🌟
That's some music to feel at home in! Hopefully not only for old farts like myself.
pure musical beauty. The rest is Golf xD
Bruce - as always - we adore you. (Video was disappointing because you were not there :)
Well...in part...his right hand makes a small cameo appearance at about the 1:22 mark. 😁
This hits like a lighter Black Crows…
Even really great musicians sometimes….can’t dance…but they sure have fun trying!
Music video had a budget of half dozen sack lunches lol
And almost as senseless as the last two records.
Are any of these people in his band currently?
I spotted these miscreants in there:
J.T. Thomas - organ
J.V. Collier - bass
Gibb Droll - guitar
John Mailander - fiddle
Chad Wright - drums
@@tubekook55 I know he was having a fun time doing the solo only thing last year, but if he would get his bandmates together and come back out, I would definitely spend the $100.
I enjoy the piano only, but I really want to hear some of the other songs from years ago and decades ago with the full sound . I hope they do that sometime soon in this coming months
@@billyidol2115 That's actually the plan. This year Bruce already toured with yMusic (the BrhyM tour), and this second part is with the Noisemakers, the yahoos in the clip here. 25th Anniversary of Spirit Trail Tour. The (big) schedule is available in numerous places online. (I'd link but it sometimes triggers a comment reject by UA-cam's system.)
@@billyidol2115 That's exactly what this tour in fact is. The Noisemakers, 25th Anniversary of Spirit Trail Tour. (Bruce already did the first half, with yMusic, the new stuff.) The tour schedule is available online in a number of places. Maybe you can make it to one of the shows, it's a pretty big schedule. 😁 edit: I just checked, the Bruuuce.com site has playlists from this year. Looks like the older material, even going back to the Range era, is played at all shows. He mixes it up. The BrhyM tour opened solo, then second half with ensemble. In his recent podcast he talks about always playing a mix, because people come for different things.
@@tubekook55 yeah that's what I was hoping. I was hoping for the noise makers. Last time he came through like 6 months ago maybe it was just him and his piano. He was playing the little theaters and some of the medium-sized theaters. And I missed it. He was only up the road a few miles from me. In about a 500-seat theater. But I missed it. It was sold out. But they said it was just him with the piano. Which is cool. But I'd rather see the noise makers and hear a complete experience. That's all I was saying
Lol Bruce Hornsby I hope you are doing okay and that you are enjoying this summer and it's a joy to know you have a talent in music and I love movies and music to I am medically disabled and mentally delayed and medically challenged but not in a wheelchair I have terminal diseases like pancretitis and esophageal stricture and I have a therapy kitten 😺 named Wilson lynch I have a mantallity problems and learning problems and I have I love singing and humming and do chores around the apartment complex and at peoples home,s but I have not did this in a long time I enjoy being around children and babies and picking up the mess of what they do it's a chores but I love doing things like that you see I lost my babies and they were triplets and I was a baby myself so I had a dr. Send me to the gyn and got an a abortion and I had to take medication for the abortion and it brung my periods back because of the depoprovera my thyroid out of whack and I want my babies back so I can get them through schooling and college and have dreams come true for them I thank you for listening and thank you for the music
Is this... an improv practice?
Great song and also what the hell is happening in this music video?!? 😮🤣
Tell me about the "touching game"
