    I haven’t yet been to Cairo but I have been to Riyadh for about a month and the traffic is horrible. The people drive CRAZY

      Depending on where you are, Cairo has got to be worse as far as traffic goes ;-) How long are you in Saudi? What are you doing there?

    I'm considering going there for a job opportunity but am a little concerned about safety. Having been to a few "dangerous" countries, I'm very aware that sometimes the Western world can misrepresent places. I lived in Palestine for 6 months in 2018, for example, and it was surprisingly one of the safest places I've been. I'm a single white male with a disability (I've got mobility issues and can't run or anything too physical). Am I likely to be robbed in Cairo or would just normal common sense be enough?

    Hi guys. Writing from NZ. My daughter and I are looking to visit Cairo for 3 months, Nov- Jan. Can you recommend an Property/estate agent we can communicate with regarding accommodation. You mentioned the price of internet, but is it enough in order to work from home?

    I'm Americanand interested in teaching english there / how long is the summer break and what is a teacher's salary ?

    • @ExpatsEverywhere
      @ExpatsEverywhere  3 роки тому

      It varies widely and wildly. We would 100% recommend teaching at an international school where they pay at least half of your contract in USD. International schools will have a fairly predicable summer schedule but private schools and language centers might only give you a week or two.

    Do u think it might be a good idea to move there and start restaurant business...?

    • @ExpatsEverywhere
      @ExpatsEverywhere  4 роки тому +2

      We love the question. It's really difficult to answer though. A good idea is a good idea if you do your research, have a good business plan, and work your socks off. So move to Cairo, why not? Start a restaurant business, that all depends on the restaurant, the area, the capital investment, your "why", and more. Hope that helps give some perspective for you.

    So how will the expat community will develop in Wedian City (or NAC)?

    • @ExpatsEverywhere
      @ExpatsEverywhere  4 роки тому

      Depending but probably fairly rapidly. You would have to imagine that the first set of expats to be there would be the embassy workers followed by educators in international school that will teach the embassy kids. After that, it really depends on what multi-national companies relocate there so there are diverse jobs across many sectors and industries. What do you think Mr. Jin?

      @@ExpatsEverywhere I don't know, but I suppose they will or even do, because It will be the seat of Gouvernment and It's a much more western city and clean. Houses are little bit more expensive, but are sold from E 57000! I don't know exacly what a House in Cairo costs. If I where an expat, this two neighborhood's would really be of my taste. Celia even more then Baroque. Celia looks like italian and has good location in the city and to the neighboring cities nearby like New Cairo. I really hope Wedian City will be much more international, I would feel more secured. Next its not a polluted or to crowded city and they will have an Airport like Heathrow.
