Great picture at the start of a Spanish trawler taking all the Irish fish. That aside the county of Kerry has everything and the coastal scenery is as good as anywhere in the world.
The fishery legislation under the EU is not fit for purpose. I remember going to Killybegs every Easter up in Donegal as a child, the harbour was chock full of huge trawlers and the town had a thriving fishing industry. Then the waters opened up to be fished by Spanish trawlers and fisherman whos families had fished the waters for generations lost their livelihoods. I'm pro-EU but this was a huge fuck up, wish our politicians would create a bigger issue out of it instead of just kissing the arse of foreign corporations from their big lights in Dublin
My Father was bought up overlooking Inch Beach, it's simply stunning and worth doing the "Ring of Kerry " I did it from Killarney anti clockwise. Also try and visit the Black Mountains if anyone has time 👍
I think you mean the Black valley right the mountains are not called the black mountains even in Gaeilge ... ..the mountains are Mount Brandon and Sliab Mish the black valley is special all right ..just after outside Kilarney for sure ... also on the south the Mc guilly kuddy ricks are also awesome ...
Having grown up in between Waterville and Caherciveen I consider myself very lucky. I live in the West Midlands now in the UK but I do miss the ocean ❤ Up Da Kingdom
Beautiful! Where exactly are those waterfalls? I'm doing a Ring of Kerry virtual fitness challenge with my sister and I'd like to take her to the real place when she comes to visit the UK this summer.
Torc Waterfall... a few miles outside Killarney on the Ring of Kerry. In Killarney take the signs for Muckross House, drive on past that place a couple of miles. It is on the left. clearly signed and with excellent parking etc Lovely walk through the woods to the waterfall.. Give it my love; I lived many years on the Ring and loved Torc . Shopped in Killarney so Torc was on my way home.
There was once a kid hitchhiking, walking down a country road here, wearing a Kurt Cobain Tshirt and Dave Grohl picked him up. This was after Kurt's death
Feedback: starts off strong! Limit the zoom in, rapid movement parts such as 00:21-00:22 and similiar. Wanted to use this as a add-on link for a travel document but it would cause some viewers to lose focus/get dizzy.
Nice scenery but a total lack of facilities. The Irish should look and see how the Spanish, French and Greeks do things. More cafe bars and decent restaurants are needed. The ones that exist are atrocious.
We don't want the beauty of the landscape destroyed. You can find plenty of facilities in the towns and villages, this is nature and it is beautifully untouched.
@@swinderby That means nothing. A quick look at your profile shows you're an Englishman. We'd rather not turn this beautiful part of our country into a shithole like Skegness or Cleethorpes.
Why does Ireland feel like home when I never even lived there? ❤️☘️
My parents moved overseas from Ireland when I was 3 years old...I'm 67 now but still call Ireland my home and always will......
Maith an fear a Tony! Tá Éireann i do croí.
My mother was born in county Wicklow. Just outside of Dublin she said. Ive never been, but always wished I could.
I was there in May a few weeks back and I am still there in my heart.
Beautiful country Ireland with great works of nature.
Amazing beauty in Ireland
My mother's name was Wilma Francis O'Brophy & her family came to the USA from Co. Kerry Ireland. It's as beautiful as I've always imagined.
What a scenery!
Currently planning a trip to the ring of Kerry and this is just gorgeous😍

Gorgeous - nicely done
It's a magical place . Go if you can. It's truly unspoiled in many places . Wild and free countryside . I will return.
C'est à la fin de l'automne, et en hiver que cette région est la plus belle ... quand les lacs sont noirs, et l'herbe rousse. J'y ai vécu 7 ans
Good work 👍🏼

The sad thing is that all those green hills used to be covered in trees until the English deforested 98 percent or Ireland.

Were you going to credit the videographer and pay him for his artistic property or were you just going to steal it?
