It's by far the most realistic tutorial I've seen on youtube! Not just the spot light, the whole view. In fact, I kinda wanna ask for the effect settings of that scene.
Amazing tutorial as always. I have honestly never knew what the waxiness even does and always did the lamp shade with very slight transparency and very slight emissiveness to achieve a similar, but slightly worse effect.
Hey Nuno! It's pretty crazy how much a realistic looking lamp shade can add to a render! My team and I had previously used an alpha map gradient in the emissive clipping slot to control this sort of effect, but it seems this way produces a more realistic result. We'll have to give it a try.
Great Tutorial! I also wonder if on top of all the stuff you did, adding an omnilight with the shadow exclusion zone larger then the lamp shade and a high amount of falloff, to add some cast light on the wall behind... I feel like that shade should behave like a light object as well.... But it looks great anyway!
Hello, the tutorial is helpful. Can you also make a new tutorial for the newest version of Lumion about lighting? The setting right now looks a lot different, and there's no transparency and waxiness anymore.
dude these videos are the bomb, but please for the love of god do a tutorial on how to properly light an edison bulb, even in the lumion showcase video they pass by some edison bulbs and never get around to showing how they actually do it
@@NunoSilva3d ua-cam.com/video/a_ct7nhmSVw/v-deo.html I've pasted it at the exact moment they pass by the edison bulbs, I'm guessing they are using just an emissive material, but I struggle with achieving the same result.
First of all, thank u very much for nice and simple explanation! What I want to know is this: have you eve re made curved LED ceiling hidden light in Lumion, maby there is a nice trick that easely alow to do this light effect, thank you in advance!
Let me know if you would like me to cover more tips like this one!

@@iztok252 that's correct. It's just emissive with probably the glass material that has a dark tint to it. It has some thickness that glass.
Helful video and nyc

Can you guide me related to multiple reflections in multiple animation video frames… it takes too much time for my Pc to render a video
Can you please tell me settings for the realistic render in Lumion.
There are no magic settings. Each scene needs it's own settings. But you can watch this video of mine: ua-cam.com/video/z3PtFCR8G6E/v-deo.html
Is it possible to do it in d5 render ? 😊
Thank you Nuno 🙏🇷🇺💪
Thnk......Brother....
How did you get that aspect ratio for the rendering?
You need to use a custom overlay image.
Hi sr i hava a problem , during the rope light fixing its show out side of object plz solve my issue plz
Hi, sorry could you explain better the issue? I didn't understand.
Bom trabalho
Hi, How to make a candle flame in Lumion?
Animated or static?
Amazing tutorial plzz also make video on realistic animation video in lumion
Thank you! I have already some animation videos on my channel. Check them out! :)
THANKS......YOU ARE ONLY SUPPORT ;)
Nuno, I tried many times in Lumion 8, sketchup file shade lamp, i surf the internet but no use 😑
I am using lumion 11... I cant find that option :(
there is no waxiness in lumion 2023, how do you do it?
It's Subsurface Scattering.
Although, it's not working well in Lumion 2023. In Lumion 2024 it's fixed and everything is working properly.
for lumion 23 how can i do it?
Its more tricky. I'll make a video about it.
It looked better before ?!
