Variety of Malaysian burgers; Lembu = Beef; Ayam = Chicken, Kambing = Mutton, Ikan = Fish, Arnab = Rabbit, Banjo = Egg. Oblong is larger size patty compared to the regular with oblong shape. There's few burger brands out there but Ramly was the most famous, being sold since the 80s. The same street vendors usually sell Ramly's version of frankfurter hot dog thing that's even cheaper than the burger but not as filling and satisfying. The added cheese in the menu are usually single slice of cheddar and sometimes cheese sauce. For the veggies, a typical Malaysian burgers contains lettuces, tomatoes, cabbages, cucumber and red onion. Some vendors also put slices of pineapples, but these are rare and hard to find.

May you enjoy life in Malaysia happily for as long as you are in this country 🥳☕ *For those who don't know yet* : Ramly Food Processing Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Perusahaan Burger Ramly Mokni Sdn Bhd) is a Malaysian frozen and fast food company. The company was founded by Dato’ Dr. Haji Ramly Mokni and Datin Hajjah Shala Siah Abdul Manap in 1984, with the aim of developing a clean and good-quality halal Western fast-food chain in Malaysia. Ramly started a business selling burgers with his wife from street food stalls in 1979. While working as a butcher in a market, he discovered that it is unknown whether most fresh-meat sources were halal or not, leading to Ramly's decision to produce a halal-certified meat source, hygienic and quality products for all Muslim and non Muslim consumers in Malaysia. 👍🏻 They also have a chain of fast food restaurants but not as many as McDonalds restaurants.
Malaysian like to eat most of their food in the “banjir @ flooded” mode. You can order roti canai with banjir serving which means lot of gravies. Samething goes with Nasi Kandar banjir means the rice is covered or flooded with various gravies. Even nasi lemak too has sometimes flooded with various sambals. That’s why our burgers are “flooded” too because we like the various sauces. In Mc D you can pump the sauces for as much as you can swallow. However, nice to see both of you ate your burger without fully unwrapping it. The wrapping paper is meant for customers to eat it the way you both did unlike most other westerners I’d seen; would unwrap the burgers and later complain their hands got so messy. And if you prefer to have less sauces, just inform the burger man to put less, they would be happy to please you. 🍔🍔🍔
Thank you for trying our famous street burger. Ramly is the brand of the patty. It's one of the most famous patties used on most burger stalls around the Malaysia. Some tips for you guys if you guys gonna come back for the burgers, you guys can ask for less sauce if you dont like sauce. You can say "Kurang(pronounce as coo-rung) sos(sauce)" or if you don't want any sauce "Tak nak sos". During my childhood on the 90s, there usually only two sauces on the burger, which is mayonnaise and chili sauce. Right now there a lot of different sauces added for more variety, well, think like Subway sandwich. The white sauce is mayonnaise, the brown sauce is barbeque sauce, the red sauce is chili sauce, and the yellow sauce is cheese sauce. Its probably hard to find mustard sauce on our local burger stall because lots of Malaysian doesn't know mustard sauce. Daging(pronounce as duh-gee-ng) so you guys pronounce its correctly, is actually means meat, but usually in food menu it means beef, even though beef is lembu in Malay. Kambing(pronounce as come-bee-ng) is actually goat in Malay, but in food menu its usually means lamb meat or goat meat. Fist bump to Mario, you got it bro, more sauce is da wae~

Ramly burger sure is better than most fastfood chain. I live in batam, indonesia, we also have ramly burger branches here, originally from malaysia. Oh yea, i usually order like what you ordered, but triple patty sometimes 4 patty stacked in one bun 🤤
next u gotta try "cendol" drinks, its a combination of coconut milk, palm sugar, and cendol (its pandan leaves processed into like malaysian jelly)... and also gotta try malay dessert like karipap (curry puff), popia goreng (spring rolls) and theres many more. and i love ur content, love from malaysian!!
To be honest, different places serve different style of burger. Lots or less sauces etc, I dont really mind about it. As long as it's good, my throat will proudly accept it.
The ramly burger in the 90’s had only 1 sauce, the chilli sauce. In my books original ramly burger is only with chilli sauce. Other sauce are variations. Ramly started selling patties and buns and stickers and signboards for hawkers to start selling burgers in makeshift stalls, to fulfill demand for local halal beef patties. Blue collared workers, unemployed, school leavers, young teenagers usually are the starter. Usually men. For Extra cash on the side. Almost always at night. Weird corners of the road or town. All started with the same ingredients with no cooking skill. To stand out, all sorts of cooking techniques devised from their own creativity. True food of the working class.

You guys should try Kambing too ! "Kambing" is Mutton! Next time if you guys would like to try a Malaysia burger again at the street vendor, maybe you guys can try to request and pick all the 3 meats (chicken, beef & mutton) in a burger (if available) and request to reduce the sources too (if you're not preferring too much source) XDD
The best Ramly burger that I had consist of PINEAPPLE! Is so good! But this stall not exist anymore. I'm not sure where can I find a Ramly burger with pineapple anymore. Shredded cucumber, thinly slice onions, one slice of pineapple ring, lettuce, Ramly patties, cheese, eggs, black pepper sauce, Maggi soy sauce, mayonnaise, cili/tomato sauce, pepper powder. Ohh yum!
Good job guys👍😂👏😍, in Malaysia u must try.. 1-Burger Ramly (street food) 2-Nasi Lemak Rendang Ayam/daging 3-Nasi Kukus Ayam Rempah 4-Satey Kajang Haji Samuri(lots branchs in KL,Petaling Jaya,Puchong,Big in Kajang) 5-Roti John 6-Nasi Kerabu 7-Nasi Kandar Penang
Plus, Nasi Kahwin, Nasi Ganja are a hit nowadays. Honestly, we can't list it all....they had to travel each state to try all kind of food. Every state have their own speciality. Should try food from all races as well.
Actually the sauce you can tell to the seller if you don't want it or want it little. This seller use mustard from what I see. Usually chilli sauce, blackpepper and mayo
I still remembered late 80s..Ramly just a small outlet processing Burger patties in a Shoplot at Jln Pantai Baru , Bangsar. It's really amazing that Ramly really go bigger and bigger. Hj Ramli really brand this product to be a giant killer brand in Malaysia until todate. RAMLY BURGER is the best Muslim burger in town.

Just to share some info Daging means Meat but most Malaysian usually relates it to beef Daging Lembu= Beef Daging Ayam= Chicken Daging Kambing= Mutton/Lamb Daging Rusa= Deer meat Daging Arnab= Rabbit meat Hope this help on your next exploration on Ramly Burgers
Daging is actually referring to meat. But, in Malaysia, when you say daging, it is referring to beef. You are correct about chicken, which is ayam. And kambing is referring to mutton/lamb. Most burger stalls in Malaysia use Ramly burger because of its quality. But the way the burger is prepared is different and unique from a stall to another stall.
The Malay owner appears to be very respectful and friendly. I expect him to be a huge success in the near future.

It's really delicious, one local legend stated that eating one Ramly burger will keep you full for 24 hours
To be honest, different places serve different style of burger. Lots or less sauces etc, I dont really mind about it. As long as it's good, my throat will proudly accept it.
The special soy look sauce is called Lea & Perrins, its enhances the taste of the patty... 🤗😊😋
one of the things the British left behind when they left 😉
Thanks guys 😍
That shot of patty / fried egg with sunlight hitting on it ..is so well shot! ace !! Kambing is Lamb guys
Thanks 🙏
As a Malaysian, I think it's only gonna be a good menu for dinner during the night time, in my opinion.
You can always customize your Ramly burger to your preference. Just tell them. Not a problem! Anyway, nice vlog. Keep it up.. 😉👍🇲🇾
Thank you 😊
(Daging) isi badan lembu
(Kambing) isi badan kambing (goat)

Ohh yum!
A burger with pineapple? Interesting idea! Seems like everyone tries out their own recipes with the ramly burger, love it 👍
Thanks for visiting malaysia, you guys are so cute hehe

Actually the sauce you can tell to the seller if you don't want it or want it little. This seller use mustard from what I see. Usually chilli sauce, blackpepper and mayo
Nah, it's cheese sauce. Many use them nowadays
the street music at the end adds up the vibes!
There's multiple variations of sloppy joes in Malaysia (street styled burger). U can try Ramly, theres also Syukor burger which i find is great.
Also try the Kambing (lamb) burger, u will be delighted at how good it really is.
Syukor Burger 🤤
Never heard of syukor burger before. Not in sarawak atleast. Studying in johor for a year now, also havent seen any menu for syukor burger
@@Ledut-in-YT the owner is Syukor Majid from P. Pinang...he started the business 2020 during pandemic... Now their stall growth more & more & he just launched kiosk like Ramly few days ago... You can check Syukor Majid fb page for more update...

Ramli Burger..... The perfect midnight food. Packed with flavor, bun soaked in sauces. Literally the perfect burger. (Though I prefer their Hotdogs more)
"Gimme my damn burger back!" This isn't, for sure, a global energy crisis issue ‼

Your fuiyooh is spot on!
Hi bro Ramly burger in Malaysian is the best food 😉😉😉😋
To be honest, this stall was the best among all Ramly burgers I tried! It located nearby my previous college. Always the first choice of mine during afternoon break time.... And fyi, ayam refers to chicken, daging refers to beef and kambing refers to goat. You guys pronounced it perfectly👍🏻
You guys can try that cheese double special another time, now you need to wash it down with some ice cold Coke. Then it's complete!😂😂😂
Just to share some info
Daging means Meat but most Malaysian usually relates it to beef
Daging Lembu= Beef
Daging Ayam= Chicken
Daging Kambing= Mutton/Lamb
Daging Rusa= Deer meat
Daging Arnab= Rabbit meat
Hope this help on your next exploration on Ramly Burgers
Yes, all the streets burger are famous, some even fly up the burger before pack with bread
and we all love them
Daging is actually referring to meat.
