I used to keep isopods years ago and want to give you some advice; The baby isopods WILL be able to crawl through those little ventilation holes. They will breed all year round as long as it is warm. _42. The point of life is 42._
_Or procreation. That works too._
I used to have a farm of this little guys, and actually they are pretty interesting, I wanna start a new colony after watching this video 😜
THIS REALLY BE ISOPOD HOURS
Yeah
Hmm real isopod hours
"what's the point of life?"
I love your channel
The more names you read off the more exhausted you sound it's amazing
Brb omw to get isopod friends in the garden now
When I was child I was playing with these 35 years ago my dad called them "poop bugs". I will never forget the good times, lol.
Your the coolest guy ever on youtube 100% thanks
Wow thanks
Last night I watched the rain water episode that led to the discovery of the isopods. I was looking forward to this episode.
I like what you do. Spawning a new hobby for my overloaded hobby list.

"Isopod Colonies Are More Fun Than You'd Think "
"Well I haven't given that much thought."

"Okay I'll watch.."
Yess it worked!
“The point of life is whatever you want it to be,”
Nice
Okay; nihilist
Jk
Super glad I found your channel. Love the humor you bring and the knowledge.
Nobody:
Somebody: "Yo, check out my Belly Button terrarium"
In my country we call them "chanchitos de tierra" wich means "dirt pigs"
I have a lot of those in my backyard, maybe i'll try doing this someday❤️
I love your videos. The amount of detail and joy you put in explaining life is admirable. I also think you are smoothly funny.
I love isopod colonies, I have a super colony of thousands up to a million.
Really that's crazy
You should upload a vid to UA-cam, I've never seen anything like that.
I might consider uploading a video.
what you"ll do when the population explode? that's creepy
I keep allot of insectivores, so I have free food.
We have Woodlouse spiders all around my school, those are one of the few spiders that really scare me, they are giant and their fangs are MASSIVE
They are also aggressive and their fangs can peirce human skin. One of 2 spiders in the UK I'm affaid of
Yeah pretty mean looking bastards
MrRedeyedJedi can’t most spiders bite🤣, but yeah, they may not have a killer venom, but they sure are terrifying
@@FieryCoal here in the UK, only two species can effectively bite through human skin to inflict a nasty bite. One being the woodlouse spider, the other being the false widow. Others here can very rarely if big enough give a bit of a nip, but those two are known to have nasty bites that cause reactions. The house spiders here get quite big, but you can pick them up, most species here have a very dosile, mostly fearful temperament towards humans, even false widows, although they can get nasty..
The woodlouse spider? Forget about it, I won't go near them fuckers lol
MrRedeyedJedi haha, here in the US, we have quite a few spiders, most of em are pretty shy too, but we do black widows and wolf spiders, which makes anyone run when they see them
I was fascinated with these as a kid, the way they curled up when they are touched and just roll out. I was so happy when Pokemon made a Pokemon based on Isopods!
This is still my favourite video from you! The list of names gets me laughing every time. 👌🏻
