The Qur’an claims that Christ was not crucified, even though the four Gospels explain in precise detail the crucifixion incident, starting with Jesus predicting its occurrence before it happened and talking about it
several times with his disciples, then details of his arrest and trial, then his crucifixion, death, and resurrection under the light of many eyewitnesses.
The Christian doctrine was founded on the reality of the crucifixion and its consequences for the salvation of humanity and their reconciliation with God. While the Qur’an mentioned a single orphan verse that was not repeated, it completely denies the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ.
Islam and Muslims are the only ones who deny the crucifixion of Christ, and it is likely that the reason for the Qur’an denying the crucifixion of Christ is that if the Qur’an acknowledged the crucifixion of Christ, it would have to acknowledge his death and resurrection, and this destroys Muhammad’s claim to prophethood.
But the power of God made the writer of the Qur’an fall into errors when he talked about the crucifixion of Christ. Muslims only have to be courageous and use reason to consider the issue, and to see that the truth lies in the word of the Lord, that is, the Gospel.
For those who do not know the characteristics of Christ mentioned in the Qur’an, we say to him: He is the pure boy who was given the good news of his conception to his mother Mary. He is an angel sent by the Lord of the worlds, and he is the word of God supported by the Holy Spirit, which is the Spirit of God. He was born from a virgin girl who had never been touched by humans, and God chose her above the women of the worlds.
He is the only child among humans who was not impaled by Satan after his birth, according to the testimony of the Prophet of Islam. It is the great slaughter symbolized by Ishaq bin Ibrahim. Christ alone was given by God the ability to perform miracles that only God alone can perform.
He is the Creator, He is the Forgiver of sins, He knows the unseen and what people store in their homes and what they think in their minds. He is the healer of all incurable diseases, He expels demons and unclean spirits, He is the light of the world and the giver of life. He raises the dead and controls the spirit. Who is Christ, son of Mary, O people of thinking minds, other than God incarnated in human form on earth.
