After you hit gold, then you can start learning other things about the game.

Pavlov practiced classical conditioning, which involved attaching a neutral stimulus to an unrelated response.
This would be more in line with John B. Watson’s aversive conditioning. he notably did the Little Albert experiment where he made a loud noise to make a kid averse to furry objects. Watson’s work is also considered classical conditioning, just a subject within it.

8:56 I want to add to this point from Hooj because I can absolutely back up, confirm, and even give you an example of how bad it is to play on a bad machine.
For the last 5 months I have been playing Valorant on my laptop (no graphics card, mediocre processor, 500gb ssd and 8gb ram). Loading up Valorant in itself took everything my computer had, and I would constantly be frame dropping or having huge lag spikes when I go to fight people. What he says is true, its really not a ton of fun. My main game became league of legends because it was more fair fights than playing on 40 fps.
And this past week I finally came back to a real PC with a ethernet cable, and I kid you not it feels like super powers. It almost feels unfair how easy it is to dunk on people and place my crosshair correctly when I can actually see what I'm doing and I don't have to deal with lag every 2 fights. I dropped 2 ACES in my first Premier game back, I've top fragged (or close) every unrated or ranked game I've played, and it has never felt better to play Valorant. Obviously its low sample size, but it's just infinitely more enjoyable when I don't play that much anyways.
If you love the game that's fine, but you are doing yourself an injustice by playing on a poor pc. Your potential is so much higher, and I wish everyone good internet and more frames.

so true man. I usually play on a bootcamped macbook because that's all I have available currently. Framerate basically scales linearly with how cold my AC is. My performance tends to be middling at best on this thing.

I can confirm this as well. I don't have issues with having a good computer so much, since I'm lucky enough to have a really good PC, but I did get a glimpse of the pain last winter after getting stuck in quarantine with covid.
All i had was my school/work laptop, which is a Microsoft Surface and so would probably melt playing anything more than valorant.
The only way i can describe my experience playing Val on my potato laptop in conparison to my pc, is it being like when I played Star Citizen (a very GPU and CPU intensive game) on my old (and very melted) gaming laptop.
It was more than frustrating. It was already annoying the hell out of me playing on the very flat keyboard (sensory issues go brrrrr), but the low frame rate was not fun at all. I don't know how to explain it, but low fps experiences in shooter games in general suck

I think it's clear now why below Gold doesn't get reviewed this reminds me of a guy that coached jungle in League of Legends, he always said '95% of below Gold VOD reviews are done after 2min cause they all have a wrong pathing and force a gank at level 3 and then the game is over for them and they call it trolls and afks'

    • @MerkSig
      @MerkSig Рік тому +2

the reasoning isn't completely wrong its just a crutch that bad mental players use. look at the meta right now its super optimized pathing and a gank at like 2:40 bot into a bot camp because of how much gold you get when you have bot control and challenger players will all preach how important bot prio is but those players problems is that they assume because you don't have bot prio the game is over and those rules only apply at the HIGHEST level of gameplay. same thing with valo kinda people go "3 duelist ff" like team comp matters and it REALLY doesn't until its the highest level.

it's not compression that's ruining the video quality, it would still noticeably change the HUD
what this player did was go into valorant's game files and reduce the game's render setting from 100% to something like 50%. This reduces the load on the gpu and makes it easier for budget gamers to get >60 fps consistently. I know because I had to do this myself when I was playing on a laptop. (Just to reiterate, you have to modify the game files to do this, you can't do this in the in-game settings menu)

It's so funny that as someone who was hardstuck bronze and looking like I may start to be hardstuck silver for a bit, aaaaand on top of that an omen main, to see all the things others are doing wrong still even while aiming properly and swinging properly, it is eye opening. Like their smokes allowed for enemies to enter on site and pop out of the smoke way too many ways. I've only just became more disciplined in making sure my smokes are deep enough consistently. Also, the low fps is a big issue but personally I find myself adapting my playing style because of it, though honestly until people say about it when spectating I didn't realise my fps was effecting my game that much (laptop gamer)

Intro peak stuff is helpful to me. Just getting to bronze and my peaks aren't great, but my crosshair placement is.....decent, don't think it's great though, lol.

@@KRYPTONITE4269 trying to. First fps at 37yo, started in December. Wahoojin and other UA-cam coaches have been super helpful on my improvement. I think if I can break through into bronze 1 I'll be able to propel myself a lot. (done 3 rank up games, each has had a duo of throwing smurfs so it was 3v5...) I'm doing extremely well this act though. What I've learned the past 2 acts has been huge.

Now write code that does exactly that and sell it online as Woohoojin's™ Aim & Game awareness trainer®.
With the Banana seal of quality it will sell like hot cakes! The Bronzes will love it! Make a programm do all the work and reap the benefits 😁
And while you're at it, add on option two replace the beep with a different stimulus. Like an electric shock maybe ...

What's wrong with "slicing the pie" when far from the angle? As long as you're not exposing yourself to multiple angles isn't it still viable?
