Okay this is actually probably the most helpful video I've seen on the channe. It's good to see someone who followed the advice given and how they've improved
In 10:20 the fact that he wasn’t stunned is really important because stun effects you speed as well so the omen couldn’t have move from the corner so the phantom spam should have killed him but he moved so he didn’t got spammed
@@anthonyewell3470 ye she says "they're concussed" or something, and the dog makes a bite. He jumped right past the Omen tho so yeah no stun which allowed him to strafe away
tip for fellow omen mains 14:59 if u ulted for "info" and theyre looking away despite u being the 1 inch away from them than theyre probably doing what woohoojin said to do here. dont get greedy (for most situations not all just use common sense)
I’ve been watching for a while and I love the videos! I’ve gone from silver 1 to gold 2 really fast because of these videos and I’m on my way to plat! I’ll probably try and submit a vod soon! Thanks for the great content!
I dont comment too often, I have over 5000hrs on CSGO and probably over a 1000 on valorant. Just got recommended this video randomly and love the 5 second rule you talk about. Never could put it in better words. So often my less experienced teammates (edit: not randoms, people in my party, Im not out here trying to teach randoms it just makes everyone toxic lmao) overpeek because they got a 2k and were "feeling it", and I have had to explain why they need to slow down and not do that, but it feels like it falls on deaf ears. These mistakes are prevalent even in the pro scene of both games with people who have over 10k hours on both so I think many people dont actively think about "gamesense" rather think their experience should carry them through bad decisions.
7:30 this has taught me so much. The main thing is that your team (though they act like npcs) are actually people. One player planted there and told no one so everyone flamed him . This was his plan the whole time. Our team also think about the game.
Love these videos, as someone who has been playing Valorant for a couple weeks, and only had a pc for little over a month I am an absolute potato. I got placed in silver and everyone knows what there doing it seems and I’m just running around like a chicken with my head cut off, this is the only game ever in my entire years of living that I have ever bottom fragged in such a low rank. I was top 500 on ow multiple season on ow1, I’m currently Diamond on pc, I top frag any other game I play, but this game specifically has me stumped. Considering I have no friends who play this game, no one to teach me the ropes, these videos have been a great help and I look forward to seeing more. I’d submit a vod review but I’m so bad I would just emberass myself lmao. Look forward to seeing more videos, especially the coaching type ones.
Really appreciate the notes section, sometimes I'm unable to sit through the entire video and need the crucial information so I can learn what I need to know when I'm watching the VOD later.
Your videos are super helpful! Gonna drop a sub. Thanks for your hard work and keep it up! My smol brain gets bigger every time I watch a video from you.
the knowledgeable tutor peers down on his students once again and gives wondrous insights on their craft, another amazing and educational vid banana man
ive been trying to implent my eyes on the minimap when im not first in line but theres always that ich that the person in front of me is also looking at the minimap while pushing so i just have to constantly go back and forth but the chances of that happening are like 25%
My biggest issue personally, is every time I check my minimap to see what my teammate might see, I always find a way to die, whether its me also watching a possible angle, and hearing shots wondering if my teammate is okay or not, the split second of me looking away, and looking back I find to die. It happens on Pearl a lot for me. I realize I need to just have more faith in my teammates, but its really really really hard sometimes in SIlver or lower elo's. Or I just need to unpeek and just chill. I've had a time where my team 5 man entered A Main to hard push site, and there was one by screen's that popped out of my omen smoke there, and just fired randomly, and it hit me, out of any of my teammates. I was so maaaaaaad
You're looking at the wrong times. If you're holding an angle don't take your eyes away from the angle. If you want to look get back into cover. I've done this mistake too but I've learned to just focus on the angle I'm holding and don't look at anything else because someone could peek at any time
Always worth a shot, there’s requirements you need to meet prior to submitting a VOD but the wisdom on your OWN gameplay is always worth it. It’s free too, so why not?
Do you sell vod reviews i havent watched your channel in a bit. Even though i think i could probably rank up already without help, but to make sure just in case i just want to know if you sell vod reviews like can i buy a vod review?
i had +400rr but im low elo UwU im hard stuck gold 3 but got deranked to silver 1 then able to ranked back up to gold 2 within 2 days without losing and ive been taking notes from the other youtuber coach and it is working well and ive been doing good and apparently my enemy was peaked Plat and D3 and Asc1-2 i started to take advice on u guys ever sinced the deranked happen and after that i got gold 2 really fast i hope i will get plat this month
do you have any VOD of washed out CS player trying valorant? I would pretty much enjoy that as i am in the same shoes, played 1999-2015, reached global elite ,then quit, now playing both CS and Valo casually and they are sooo different , especially tne pistol gunplay, movement and abilities set ups
im literally down -300 rr ever since i started trying to actively try to improve at the game idk wtf is going on but im not enjoying ranked at all, went from immo rank up all the way down to diamond 3 derank
3:19 i think he was smoking right side on top incase someone comes that way he knew since there was a wall that if he smoked that angle anyone coming from that top angle wouldnt push in because of smoke so he could push left with his teamate (could be completely wrong ive only played val for 4 days and watch your vids for tips so i wouldnt know whats best in this situation but thats what i would do). edit: i also think he was staring at the wall what you said was "nothing" to see if there was a corner exposed so he could peak through it it happens alot to me and i always peak through a little gap it gives me easy picks unless someones expecting it.
Whats this checkmate thing he's talking about? I thought it was just because he should tuck after plant but when he 'checkmates' after reloading frenzy how this work?
Day 1 of trying to get from gold 1 to plat in this act. If I don't I'm quitting Valorant. I played pretty badly but did my job as an entry and create space. I played in a lobby of only plat and higher and didn't botfrag which made me a lot more confident that this is possible
At 10:45 in the video I don't think holding W and spamming there was the wrong play. Had the player actually been stunned his initial spam wouldve killed him, but 100% unlucky that not only was he not stunned but was also using a shotgun
other way around. He's saying when you/your teammate kills somebody and it's checkmate (your team is +2 or more in numbers), take 5 seconds to stop and think about what to do before mindlessly swinging out. It's essentially a mental cue to reduce overheating.
What is a good skill level to get reviewed/coached on? As in i am new to the game and have a lot to learn still, currently gold 1 after about 1 week of playing ranked, starting on lvl 1 and now lvl 20 (didnt need 20 to play ranked)

the last time he reviewed this player, the player was too shy to push in with teammates, instead favouring throwing smokes when they weren't all that needed the clip he's so happy with clearly sees him take advantage of the space created by his neon, and due to it can easily trade the neon out.
