it was mostly correlational data.. even though it's not causal, it does support a causal hypothesis! There have been other studies done, however, that do test and confirm a causal relationship (both conncerning the stereotype -> behavior, and the emotion-> behavior relationship). I am reffering to the BIAS map, of course :) (i know i'm 4 years late, but do check it out if you're still interested)

Is this causal or correlational data? There is a difference.
It's better to read the paper your own, usually the data is an answer that's hard to find conclusions on that works for everyone
