Hi, we are getting ready to use our stayfresh for the first time, and were wondering if you've acquired a sense and a list of usual freezedrying times for most foods, such as for fish filets, milk, meat, etc. I cannot find such a list on the internet-even with guides, and we put our f.d. in a room off the garage, so we won't hear the buzzer when it goes off. It would be helpful to have an idea when to check on it. Thanks for your help!

Wondering about citrus juice. Can you do a load of orange, lime and lemon juice/puree? Also frozen pineapple. I am leaning towards the stayfresh machine but am waiting for d-freeze before deciding. Any idea what the cost of d-freeze will be? Thank you for all you do in FD world. One last question is the stayfresh 15 or 20 for plug?

donald, I started a batch today at 9:50. right now, at 12:08, both the freezer and the drying buttons are lit. It doesn't say "left", it just gives a different time above each button. Do you see the word "left" because your screen says "final drying"? And the different times I see (2:50 hrs for freezing and 1:55 hrs for drying)--are those the times for each that will follow each other? will mine say how much time is left when it's in the final drying cycle?

The time left is once you hit the extra dry time. Once you are in that we know we are almost completed. You can stop it early I just like to do extra time on all machines I do
