A haunting movie. Very slow moving and uneventful, but still worth the watch.
After reaching his destination the townsfolk could've at least fed the courier, before his long journey back.

Thank you so much for this lovely feedback. The Courier knew what was ahead of him and had a destination in mind, and although it's not specifically stated, I would suspect that he refused any offer of hospitality in order to get there as soon as possible. Thank you again for taking the time to interact!

A beautifully made reminder that we should never give up on our principals. Just when I needed one the most. It reminded me, that I have to walk through hell, to appreciate paradise when I get there.

Is this he young man a DEATH himself? I just watched 7 mins of the film.
Half way of the film, wow!! The actors are PHENOMENON HERE. The film is tragically beautiful.
Finished it. What a beautiful story.
I feel like the young man is not the Death but the old man’s “inner doubt”.

I really enjoyed most of this short film, and I wish to thank all that were involved.
I loved the clear sound of the courier's boots on the gravel path. It really brought home the purpose and hardship that the courier faced as he trudged forward. The crisp crunch and scuffing was perfect.
However, the constant wind sound effect was irritating, to put it mildly. It was patently obvious that the air was calm, but I guess the director felt that the Scott-of-the-Antarctic sound would paint a more 'post-apocalyptic' picture, for some reason? Very distracting, and unecessary.
I hope this criticism doesn't come across as too harsh. I simply wouldn't have commented at all if I didn't like the film, so please take it as a well-earned compliment.

This was very well made, and well acted. My only criticism is that the old man has a brand new hat, gloves, and bag, and his coat is in good shape. It distracted from the post-apocalyptic aesthetic somewhat. Just a nitpick on an otherwise amazing short film. I love that he forgoes his own potential, possibly false happiness, to give another set of parents a very real happiness and hope for their child.

After many years of watching short films on You tube I am surprised I had not come across this one till now. Great acting, beautiful scenery, a compelling film thoroughly enjoyed this. One question though what is the music playing during the first few minutes very Pink Floydy.

How about you give us the name, address, and physical description of the son of a bitch who made you watch this cliché-ridden affront to cinema, then we'll all hop on the next available flight and curb-stomp the f*cker. Is it our fault you seem to watch the same type of film dozens of times? No. Are we genuinely sad that you think our film "sucks". Yes. Is there anything we can do about that? No. Could you have expressed your dislike in a less confrontational, aggressive way. Yes.
Seriously though, we genuinely hope you have more positive film experiences, but in future maybe stay away from material that seems to trigger you so much? Peace 🙏
