*FIRE CALL!* [Philadelphia] Fire Dept. Rescue 1 & Medic 15 Responding!

Captured here are Rescue 1 and Medic 15 of the Philadelphia Fire Department, responding to separate emergency calls. I was lucky to catch the heavy rescue unit being called out to a structure fire (it responds to all fire calls in the city), and the crew was out the door in seconds! Special thanks to the friendly firefighters for welcoming me, answering my questions, and giving me an awesome patch as well!

I think it’s not unusual for a city of that size to have one specialized heavy rescue unit. They also have several squads that can deal with most rescue calls.
