Great to see Alastair on at last and as honest and funny as ever. Never holds back his words or his will to win, thats what makes him a champion
Great episode
Brilliant that, so enjoyed listening to Alister, one of the 2 wheeled geniuses.
This podcast really helps you get to know riders and has changed my opinion for the better on a lot of them. Keep it up dom and co smashing it
Exactly what I've been thinking. Brilliant stuff.
Absolutely brilliant episode! Really interesting stories over such a brilliant career!
Absolutely loved that one, what a great rider and really interesting stories 👍👌
BSB UFC in the off season to settle disputes and keep fitness levels up, full kit on , i'd subscribe, Alastairs combo on Olson 🤣
This aged brilliantly 😂
I see what you did there 😂
The living legend Seeley 🇮🇪🇬🇧 north west 200 in the bag and didn't disappoint unbelievable racing 💚
Hardly a living legend. What’s he done anywhere else other than the NW200. Put him at the TT and he wudn’t count. No wonder no team wants him
@@Bazza_5968 he's done more than most people can only dream of, and probably a lot more than you pal 😉
@@royalbee9088 what like being a postman in his local town. Don’t get me started u prick
As others have said, the thing I like about these pods is that they humanise the riders. Some, like Alastair, are not at their best with the cameras when they're at work, and I hope he won't mind me saying that I got the impression he was a bit arrogant. But listening to this he's clearly a nice guy, just probably comes across wrong when he's pumped up. I've got a totally different opinion of him now. And to be honest, while there's loads of other pods out there nowadays, none of the others seem to relax the riders to the same extent that they relax and be themselves quite so much. Maybe because it's riders talking to riders which helps. Either way, top work boys.
lovely comment, thank you Andrew!
Seeleys a ledge he has not changed one bit since he first started. I remember watchin him at modello Park in 06 07 and he was tearin it up on his blue and yellow r6 beatin out 1000s by a country miles 8 plus seconds. He is criminally underrated!
What a great watch and I just watched the end of that Croft race Alastair in 09 and I have got to say that was a bloody harsh move .Alastair Seeley what a fantastic pilot so good to hear from yet another fantastic talent. If you can throw yer leg over yer never to old fer a bike . Just brilliant guys 😉👌👍
always like him as a rider.. and what a brilliant attitude.. proper racer👏
hi ,I allway listen to every new podcast and I've heard of alastair but not meet him but what a nice and very interesting chap he is ,so if you read this thanks for taking the time to go on it, all the best
Fantastic interview. 👏
Been waiting for this for a long time ♥️
Great interview
Great pod this one class as always 👏
Then my Dad said ... "you're not getting anywhere here" This has to be one of Dom's best one-liners
Great chat as always 👍
This is what I love about the pod. Always had seeley down as a bit of a nob but he's actually a fine bloke
Ali failed to mention one of his early races in England. He rode for Robbie and Vic Allans Team Twilight in a 6hr Endurance race at Pembery in 2004. Along with Vic and Robbie they won the 600 class. I'm still the proud owner of the trophy!! Love the vlogs.
he's not 59 yet, McWilliams and he's massively competitive still
Guilliano was superstock... giving it the head nod when on the brakes... unmistakable style.
as you are a Arsenal fan?
Alan Smith played from 1987 for 8 ys winning the League twice and the Golden Boot twice
there's also another Alan Smith who played for Leeds and Man Utd in the 90's
both played for England
Alastairs crew chief Derek Huxley held the 250 lap record at Croft for a while, early ‘70s, hell of a quick rider.
Great episode the Northern Irish riders are alway’s good craic.
Great episode again 👏. He's like the NW/BSB Lorenzo, brilliant racer, great rivalries and somewhat controversial 😅
LOL! "It was a full-on cheat" - "Then why were you not winning?" Hehehehe! Classic.
That was great could not stop laughing 🤣🤣🤣
Hutchy was to do the TT!, C'mon Alastair, step up lad.
Another decent NW200 for The Wizard. It's dog eat dog, the wee man doesn't back down
A question from alex olsen
where did you learn to box?
Seeley's good crack.
"Breaking news" Alistair considers TT
So, fair to say Hudson Kennaugh doesn't get a Christmas card from Alistair? 🤔😂
Can’t believe Seeley can’t get a team for the roads in 2024. Omg. I’m a Dunlop fan and always dreaded Seeley in the same race… but this is just madness and if Seeley doesn’t ride 2024 it will be a disgrace after all his podiums. The NW200 wouldn’t be the same without him.
ha ha back brake pads, pretty much me I was told I raced like John Kockinski
That was a cracker.
