  • Motoz fanboy gets new tires and cannot wait for a nice day to go ride.
Got lost a bit on the way, but made it to Boyd reservoir and home just in time to beat the rain.
New gearing for this ride as well. First time on 16/45.

Hi Jeff! Yes, the etiquette is to leave a gate how it was, but maybe someone didn't close it (lazy) when they went through. Also, if it needs to be open, they can open it again. Cheers! 👍🏻🇺🇸🍻🏍

Thanks. Haven't come across a gate laid down like that yet so wasn't sure.

When in doubt close it. Almost no downside. Also, That did look like someone gave up trying to put it back.

That's kind of what I thought. It had been run over a few times and that seemed rude so I just put it back ip.

5:32 - Spit my coffee out. 🤣Come on GoPro...
100% on the gearing makes a big diff off road and the high way not a bad at all.
    What suspensions are you running?

      Damn gopro!
When I first got the bike I sent to SPS and had it sprung for weight and valves to my riding style and pace.
They did a great job and would recommend them. I just eventually outgrew the valving and have had that adjusted twice for more dampening on compression especially since. As my pace increases it seems like I end up at the max compression adjuster setting and then have the entire range moved up to get me back to the middle of adjustment. Hopefully that's not confusing and answers the question.
I do plan on safari tanks in future and will go up a few spring rates on the forks to compensate for that extra weight when full.
      Thanks for watching.

@@AdventureJeff269 SPS does good work, my buddy has a 950 with their forks. I went pretty aggressive with the revalve and springs - at first I thought I over did it but now very happy with it.
Do you do anything for the shock? That's my next big thing.
Those tanks will be nice for the new part of the US you are in. I use a 2 gal GL bladder with stock tanks for the North East. Just dump it into the tank before the rough stuff.

I have had the shock through essentially the same process. SPS first, then a local guru make minor adjustments after.
I was looking at the giant loop bladders as an alternative. Which bladder do you use?
