Excellent video showing how to do this properly. The clarity of the polycarbonate roof is amazing at the end. I’m now slightly embarrassed at my half hearted attempt at the same but I now know for next time! 👍
@@KT-TV it was very funny. I usually inject humour so subtle in my videos that it’s easy to miss. ‘I’m removing the dust using this cluster of five peacock feathers’ 🤣
Definite add UV protection back or you'll be at square 1 in year or so. I recommend 404 spray and just reapply every time you service the car. It's also possible to not go as high with the grit and have the roof sprayed with a lacquer which clears it right up.
Are you on the UK? I plan to add UV filtered Paint Protection Film and will make a new video. It's reversible so I can go to plan B which is ceramic graphine coat and buff.
@@jimhendricks7638 yes I'm in the UK (if you've ever come across the evilution website, that's me). Be interesting to see of the PPF sticks. I've not had much luck with vinyl coverings on clear plastics.

Wow Stephen, from you that's one hell of an accolade ❤
Thanks mate... much appreciated 😎
@@KT-TV I laughed at the feather duster part 🤣
@@autoknight747😂Works brilliantly and especially removing rogue grit from the preceding disc. Just one piece of grit can create unwanted scratches.

Did you use any compound after polishing to replace the UV lacquer?
