Do you have the instructions for using the TOS charts and scanners instead of the Trade Ideas to get the same results? The TOS scanning seems to be very comprehensive but I am not sure what you have specified in the TI scanners?

How is relative volume calculated exactly ? Like it counts the volume of a specific timeframe, let’s say volume from 9:30 to 9:45 of today and compares it to the volume in that same time frame the stock has traded for the last 50 days ?

I'm currently trying to make a stock scanner, but, I'm just not sure if I should limit to to the biggest gappers, etc, or just let it run on "all" of the stocks on the market, I think nasdaq and nyse together is like 6000 though, that seems kinda overkill -_-

tried finding gappers yesterday , today can't find a single stock fit for day trade. Finding stock to day trade is such a challenge. Is it just me or anyone else having the same issue.

Bilal M I make my decisions on an upswing. The stocks have to be on an upward trend. And it's all about price compared to valuation. Right now during the holidays volume has been down your best bet is to swing trade. By the stock one day hold it at least one day and sell it the next.

You have to input your own scanner settings. My settings are available to all Warrior Trading students and live trading room subscribers.

To me, that high a day momentum scanner tells me the stocks that you should have bet on - not necessarily the ones to bet on. Am I missing something?

There isn't a way to calculate it, you have to see it listed under the company profile. TC2000, Trade-Ideas, Ameritrade, etc, all offer it.
I have been looking at Trade-Ideas. Is it possible to use the delayed quotes because we are scanning from overnight activity?

tried finding gappers yesterday , today can't find a single stock fit for day trade. Finding stock to day trade is such a challenge. Is it just me or anyone else having the same issue.

I like to look at 3 to 5 stocks to day trade. I study those stocks and know about how they move. I like to buy 10000 to 5000 shares and I like to make around .01 to .05 cent a share. hows that sound
what do you consider for entry & exits?
Bilal M I make my decisions on an upswing. The stocks have to be on an upward trend. And it's all about price compared to valuation. Right now during the holidays volume has been down your best bet is to swing trade. By the stock one day hold it at least one day and sell it the next.
