I have always been interested in the slick stick bows but I’m hesitant in buying one due to all the claims and complaints of them breaking or delaminating after a few months or couple hundred shots. I am 6’3 with a draw length of up to 31” and I’m wanting the 50# recurve version for deer/hog hunting. Do you have any opinions or advice for me about the durability of the slick sticks? I would appreciate it.
Caleb, I have two Slick Stick bows, both are the 60" AMO longbows purchased from Kustom King Archery. One is 35#, the other is 50#. I'm also 6'3", and draw length of 32". I can only tell you thta I've had no issues with either of mine. The 35# must have well over 10,000 shots through it. The 50# probably over 2000 shots. Bodnik does warranty these bows for 30 years, so that is nice if they ever fail. Shane
Not bad at all looks like they all fly pretty well at that distance.
I still say that’s a fantastic bow.
God bless Shane.
Thanks, hope your archery is going well!🏹
Good morning Shane 🙂👍. Great video 🙂👍.
