My cardiologist technician told me to take up Golf 🙂 I may someday maybe, but Thankfully I'm doing a lot better & I wish my father sought help for his PTSD a lot earlier in life.He passed away January 2012 of heart failure 😢. I applaud John for his recovery ❤

So much to say after listening to this interview. So much! I need to journal before I respond. So very grateful for your podcast and for your journey in getting to the place of having a podcast. Thank you doesn't even come close. One thing I always said at the end of every Group: "Don't ever let anyone tell you about yourself. They don't know." Blessings, Mr. Bernard. Blessings. Maria

Please have John back again, since he still has so much to say. Maybe longer interviews should be done with some people. I wised we could’ve heard more from John’s heart, his soul. You could tell he needed and wanted to. God Bless you both and all of us still here on this planet that want to do better 🙏 Amen

What a fabulous interview! It was so great hearing Johns stories of all the actors and the backstage information. What a treat. Brought back a lot of memories of GH back in the day. I got emotional when he was talking about Tyler. I am still so heartbroken and still can't believe he is not with us anymore. Thank you for bringing us these interviews every week. They help so many people. Thank you John as well for your honesty and bravery in sharing your story. I could have listened to John talk all day! I hope you have him back on. That is wonderful that he is sober and doing so well.

The last thing John says about drinking and decision making & alcohol resonated with me.
My husband had a huge ego & when he drank (1, 2,3 was never enough) he made horrible decisions that wrecked us. He quit drinking 7 yrs ago. Life can be better without alcohol.

John Homa is what's consider simply the BEST. Extremely authentic and stand up guy. I am fortunate to have been working with him as my acting/directing coach for 4 years now. He is an legendary coach that actually educates you on your craft. I can talk for days about John Homa. This was an awesome interview!!!!!!!

I think this is one of the rawest, honest ,deepest conversations I have seen in a long, long time. This man has much more insights and truths to share. As well as the ability to truly make a deeply profound difference in the lives of anyone he connects with. It is apparent that he has walked in deep rooted pain for many years, yet has not become a victem and has chosen to be as kind and compasionate as he could be. I could listen to him for a long time. Thank you.

I keep saying I’m going to stop writing my comments on State of Mind because I’m always worried about what people think. I am not book smart but at 67 I’m working on it. I loved this interview with John Homa. I’m glad that he quit drinking. He mentioned grappa which being Italian I know it’s a very strong alcohol. It’s so refreshing to hear him mention that you can’t do it alone and that he has a therapist. I’m not a practicing Catholic but I still have my faith in God. Thanks again Maurice for a great interview. ❤️🙏🇨🇦🇮🇹

I wish this interview was longer. I'd like to hear more about the cast members he worked with on GH. It's a shame GH's budget doesn't allow for him to coach on the show. I think it would be fabulous if he could return and work with some of the young cast (ex: Hudson West, Scarlett Fernandez) that started as children and other cast members.
The Sonny/Brenda, Robin/Stone AIDS storyline is still one of the most outstanding stories written and beautifully preformed on daytime.

I wasn't going to watch; now I'm going to watch it again. The best part of what you do is to bring heightened awareness of illness and addiction to us in the everyday world.
A bonus is that we are attracted to the actors and that's how you bring the knowledge. You do realize that is your gift meant to share. If you stop, you and all of us will fail at Life!
John had me crying in the last half; any mention of Tyler C. will do that to me. I still have not been able to accept his plight and dramatic ending. RIP
    Thanks Mo & John H 💜

    Awesome interview 👏 🙌 👍
Loved it, you do not have to stand on ceremony re: Rosary - I have a Rosary, Dream Catcher & Cross hanging from my rear view mirror!
    I am Spiritual because
    IMHO
    Religion w/o Spirituality is Dogma
Spirituality with or w/o religion is ENLIGHTENMENT!
In my darkest hour when death was literally upon me, I heard a voice from nowhere speak Truth to me that saved me & made me new!
    I am forever Grateful 🙏
Glad he made it though & knows his life & experience is his Testimony & that he testifies ❤🎉
