@doctor-d-rose69 yeah, I was drooling over the Chisel. Right after I got the Alma, the manager from a Chicago store called me to let me know the 2023 in the charcoal was still available for me under $1,000. I wanted to get it so bad, but it doesn't make sense for me right now. Such a great deal though. Maybe in the future if I want to make more of a trail bike setup I will try to get one. The Alma is my exercise bike.
@@teecee4459 I got the light gray, SRAM version Chisel a few months ago. It is an amazing bike. I may post a video about it one day. But I'm retired military so Specialized gave me a 20% discount. I was all into MTB-ing at first but now I'm purely just doing road biking. My Chisel is in the garage collecting dust. I put it on sale on OfferUp with all my old and new gear (helmets, shoes, jerseys) for $2000. Helluva deal considering the bike is $2600 new. A few offers but none were serious. If you were out here in Socal I'd sell it to you.
@@doctor-d-rose69 I'm trying to ride my Alma more like a road bike 😂 everyone telling me I should get a road or gravel bike, but I want a mountain bike 🤷 I have a 620mm width bar on it and I'm trying to figure out what stem length/angle to use to make it feel just right, probably something like -17 100mm. I'll be changing the gearing up this winter for less climbing more flat speed and efficiency. Will try going down to 2.1 or 2.0 inch tires and see how that feels.
Loving the bikes good video, keep pushing 😊🚲
Get that ride in
9am is late morning not early lol
@neilr90 Haha, touche' . But anything earlier and it's too cold for this dude...and a few extra hours to sleep in is soooo precious
I bought a $700 Orbea Alma H20 aluminum hardtail for my endurance bike 😂
A true endurance bike indeed! I also own a 2024 Specialized Chisel that I tried riding for a 10 mile endurance ride and it was killer!

@@teecee4459 I admire your ingenuity and willingness to do all that!
