We have therefore developed a dilution system that dilutes the landfill gas at a ratio of 1 to 50.
This diluted gas is used for the H2S sensor, O2, CO2 and CH4 are measured undiluted.
This dilution system can also be used for other applications which have very high Hydrogen sulfide concentrations. With a dilution ratio of 1 to 50, you can easily measure 100000 ppm H2S while only exposing the sensor to 2000 ppm of sample gas.
