Thanks! There’s a bracket you can get from DK Customs. www.dkcustomproducts.com/sportster-indicator-lights-bracket-dk-spt-ilb.htm I also did another video explaining a little about it if you can stand my monotone voiceover lol. This should skip right to where I talk about it ua-cam.com/video/8XSMZxf27W8/v-deo.html
I love the look of this. But i do like the look of the bags i have on my 2004 sportster. A set of gloss black bags would make it look awesome but thats just my opinion. Its all in what you like.
Yeah, I don’t disagree with that. I’ve seen a few that look really good with the bags, plus they’re practical. I was on the fence but went with the bar bag since it was cheap and has been surprisingly helpful to keep my gloves a few small tools registration and a damn mask these days lol.
Did you had to get some resistors for the signals to blink? I have an issue on my sportster sport when I turn on my blinkers it just stay on soild and doesn't blink. It blinks fine only when I turn on the emergency lights both blinks normal.
Hey, yeah I did have to order some cheap relays from Amazon. This is what I ordered but they’re not available anymore. If you look up “turn signal relay motorcycle” you should get some options though. Hope that helps! Thanks man, I appreciate it! I actually used one of your old videos on the speedo relocation to figure out how to mount the indicator lights to the headlight visor. Works perfect 👌
Would really like to buy one of these 1200s next year. Hope I can find one around the price you paid. I have 1300 saved up right now. Wanting to do a club style build as well. How do you like the ridgid mount at highway speeds? I've only ever ridden a rubber mount before.
Sadly 2 months ago I got cut off and totaled the bike, but they are awesome bikes, especially coming with the dual discs and adjustable suspension from the factory. Hopefully you can find one for a decent price. I didn’t mind it on the Highway though, definitely vibrates but probably not much more noticeable than the rubber mounts
@@angeloco5111 Dang, that sucks. But that's good to know. I've heard they vibrate, but was hoping it wasn't as bad as people make it sound. You come out alright brother?
@@JIMBOBALOU yeah on longer rides it was more noticeable but really not bad at all. There might be some kits available for the control wiring you can buy that are more plug and play, probably in the $150 range depending on your bike. @@FLUFFY23MONSTER nice 👍 I didn’t have to adjust them. Just had to loosen the mirrors to attach the signal hardware to them. Not sure if they’re aftermarket but the threads on the mirrors seemed a little different and felt like they’d strip if I torqued them too much. Haven’t had any issues though
