Yeah I feel like that’s some peoples style to skid on the flat turns. I only do that if I’m coming in too hot but I guess to each their own

@@katherinestover193 I think that’s the main one that’s hard to find if there are any out there. Look up solder seal wire connectors on Amazon if you’re not comfortable soldering wires. You just need those, a cheap heat gun, and 16 gauge wire to cut and extend them. You just heat the connectors up until the solder melts and that’s it. Then you just seal them off with a tube of heat shrink. Hope that helps!

Bung King 12” risers with a Drag Specialties speedo mount. Had to modify it a bit to get it to work with the Roadster speedo but nothing major other than extending the wires for the instrument lights

@@Soulriderpowder and I ended up getting in an accident about 2 years ago and totaled. I tried to put them on my new 16 Roadster and they won’t mount to them

It’s the Danmoto Highwayman V2 I think it was about $500. Performance is fine but the paint finish isn’t the best after having it about a year

Do you know where the Piner skatepark is? They’re right next to it you can search for Rosa Park Disc Golf Course it goes right through the jumps

I’ve ridden the mile 3 times before and every time I regretted not trying it lol. But yeah, lots of fun. It felt really nice, not a huge difference on the waterfall section since it’s low speed, but all the smaller blown out sections felt much better and less hang fatigue. Thank you!

Hey, do you mean they won’t sit right on the upper triple tree? I had to get a spacer to sit between my risers and the triple tree to make up for it not being a flat surface if that makes sense

I talked to the man I’m working with, the spacers should be a good fit. Whats the thickness on the risers you have? 1”? 1 1/4? and also is there it recessed or concaved in? And last thing, the tapered side of the spacer or bushing is facing down right?

Agreed. I definitely wanted the raw steel and that’s been my real complaint so far. The paint is fading already in some spots. Still not bad for the money though

I don’t know the park very well but looking at Trail Forks we went up Back Ranch fire trail off Bay View, up to Ridge Fire Trail, then down Bay Hills Dr but then I can’t figure it out what the first trail set is. We ended up back on Ridge Fire Trail and it looks like Maytag back down Black Ranch Fire Trail. Hopefully that makes sense!

Thanks man, I’m hoping to get a fairing on it by summer and I’ll be pretty set where I want it. The pedal just barely touches it. They did a good job cutting out the heat shields if they’re set right it’s not an issue. I had the Cobra El Diablo on my old bike and had to adjust the pedal

Yeah it’s been great! 3 rides down on it now and I’m already feeling confident on it and I noticing less fatigue on the descents. And yeah I was glad it was there I realized I didn’t have it when I was already too far into the ride to turn around so I’m glad it sort of blended in with the tailgate pad!

I wanted to but the risers didn’t have holes to run them internally and I didn’t wanna drill them. I totaled this bike a few months ago and my new risers have them internally it’s so much cleaner 👌

Exactly, out of the 3 years I had it, I think I only ran into one other Chromag on the trails. I’ve been checking FB and Craigslist but no luck yet. Luckily our homeowners insurance covered more than I expected but it would be awesome to find it lol. I usually park on Channel Dr at the Cobblestone trailhead or at the Spring Lake parking lot off Hoen since I have a County Park pass.

@@lilbtyt7928 yeah it sucks it’s so frequent these days. But yeah I ended up with both one year and it was perfect. I found the county one seems better for me so we can take our dog to Taylor mountain or spring lake also. But it’s nice being able to park in the actual Annadel parking lot instead of riding down channel drive every time

I appreciate it, definitely sucks! Funny enough I’ve been eyeing some full suspensions lately and my insurance covered most of the cost on a YT Jeffsy. Supposed to ship by 1/29 so hopefully it actually shows up on time but I’m keeping an eye out for the ol’ Chromag around town
