Looks good, now I really need to add X-axis to my mini lathe. I currenly have 1-axis (Z) version and I love it. Development proposals: 8:28 Angular mode: Reset with long press or two-button press. This would prevent accedental reset during operation. Same long press to any setting that resets anything. Like in program mode Xd and Z reset. Since there is no connections for limit switchs, maybe software limit that is stored (if possible)
Concerning the long press to reset the angle, that is a good idea, i will change this. For the software limit switch, it is already on my roadmap. I could create a simple hardware limit switch that would communicate wireless, as I did with the remote control on the 1 axis ELS, but I am not sure it would interest a lot of users.
@electronicgearbox Hello there. First, I'm plannig to purchase this unit, so my interest is very present... In discusion of long button pressing. I have noticed, that two upper row center buttons sometimes have no use. One of them could be pushed to engage rapid speed of hand wheel cranking. User maybe could set both speed in settings menu. One parameter for normal speed as it is now and another parameter for rapid speed. Overall great job! I like it.
@@lubosdanek4413 Hi, why not, I have to think about it, you are not the first one to ask for 'fast speed buttons', I just need to figure out how to implement it, I do not want to have dozens of buttons (as other ELS...).
Not for now, I have to add new programs: tapered threads, facing, sphere and so on. I will work on this in the next months, firmware updates will be available for free and the procedure is very simple.
Superbly compact , useful and affordable kit - well done
love it.

Can the two axis version cut tapered threads, as used in plumbing?

@@electronicgearbox Many thanks.
