Hey Greg long time fan. My wife is Indonesian . Just got back from Borneo West Kalimantan all fried chicken in Indonesia is better than Aus but Rice is better for you because Sambal and chicken mixed with rice is better combo

That coating on the chicken (3:24) looks like Kellogg's cornflakes. Seriously, you can smash down cornflakes and use them as breading for crispy chicken. It's fantastic. I've been doing this for years to make "faked out fried chicken" in the oven.

I’m a Canadian in Indonesia right now and I can guarantee the fried chicken tastes waaaay better in Canada. Far more flavourful and the chicken in Indonesia is always too powdery/floury

Rip Lucas Mcquillan. For those who do not know he passed away awhile back. He loved many different food reviews. I do believe it was complications from battling with cancer for many years.
There will come a time when you will not be able to wait to get back to Australia and experience the quiet and wide open spaces that you know and love. Then go to KFC and see if they still have the worlds best chicken. You are going to love it. Come home Grego, we miss you.

i worked in seminyak last year before i was transfered back to jakarta, i can tell you ACK is better than JFC and all other KFC knockdown... because the chicken doesnt stay long in heat lamp
