The Arctic North brings always unexpected adventures duo to the special weather conditions, so its never getting boring, good you made it back without freezing into a ice cube 😂🙏🙈

You need to fit a narrow beam spotlight that is pointed upward to create your very own light pillar - make a great drone shot, it will look like you are being beamed up 🙂
My forward facing lights produced light pillars, I got drone footage of them in previous years. That’s how the atmospheric phenomenon works. It doesn’t matter what direction the light points due to the ice crystal structure in the atmosphere it’s projected vertically.
I really like your videos. I do wish you'd pay more attention to your sound levels, though. I find myself constantly having to adjust my volume when you cut between different scenes.
I've seen a few people this year go to Lofoten and no one has mentioned the Commando raid - CLAYMORE, Enigma machine, or the telegram to Hitler. Don't know if you've covered that in previous years - I need to get caught up on your previously mispronounced adventures. Somewhere I've wanted to go sonce I was a kid (and I'm now knocking on 50 - where did that go?!?). Just thought I'd mention it in the unlikely event you're not aware ... there's always next year 😁👍
Another episode with some pretty impressive scenery, I'm really enjoying the series, .......for some strange reason I like bridges aswell Looking forwards to the next one 👍👍
Oh I do love a nice bridge :-) Have to admit, I'm strangely quite sad I'm no longer on the adventure even though I physically left over 8 weeks a ago ha ha! But that's ok, more adventures are planned...
@@MispronouncedAdventures gone for the Peugeot boxer lwb. My other van is a vw t5 transporter. Can’t wait to get properly stuck into the new one. Both On my channel if you get bored
What an awesome experience. I'm planning a trip to this area on next winter to see the auroras and some real winter landscapes (sadly only for a week or so, probably renting an rv in January, not sure where yet). On which month you were the scenes of the "waterfalls" recorded ? I was expecting to be much darker so it was a surprise to see so much daylight on the video. Thanks !!
Early February this was recorded. As for the amount of daylight, it does probably get a bit skewed on video. As I do a lot of my recording during the day light hours so stuff is visible. i’m also not too far into the Arctic Circle so polar night has passed in this area. Enjoy your Trip!
Another cracking video, what an amazing experience it looks - some great bridge engineering too. Enjoy the rest of your trip - look forward to the next one - All the very best, David 👍
Thank you very much. I don’t use studs, it was my third winter living in the van up here. I find with my heavy rear wheel drive van I have plenty of traction on 99% of the roads I’ve come across in the last three winters. Although the first year I did have the intention to rent a set of studded tyres and leave mine in a tire hotel for the winter. Quite a few of the front wheel drive vans who come up swap to stud however many of the rear wheel drive ones dont experience the same issue of traction.
Yes, unfortunately complacency at my end using a drone. I think since it hit lengthways up the side of my finger the skin is far softer and thinner there than it would be on the pad. Although it did also cut straight through the nail bed as well
Not 100% sure . I do have some over van related trip goals in mind. Hitting -40c is still a goal. But there are other countries and even continents I want to visit with the van.
That waterfall needed a bridge over it...🤣 Can't wait to see what's next. It's good to see @NorwegianXplorer is a fan of yours! Think he's winning in the lowest temps competition 😉
Mines normally does as I have it wired to a permanent live fuse ( although that a fuse occasionally does turn on and off ) but I have the screen turned black after one minute feature.
@@MispronouncedAdventures mine is also on a permanent live but still doesn’t turn off automatically. I have a mk8 transit could you tell me which permanent live you have connected to ?

The Arctic is never boring that’s for sure. Yet to be turned into an ice cube
Andy. Good to catch-up as we did. Maybe again next year. New ferry from Newcastle to Norway starts up 2025 I may take that next time. All the best
Excellent to meet you! Really! are they going to finally restart the Newcastle to Bergen car ferry?

@@MispronouncedAdventures But wouldn't a light shone vertically up through the horizontal flakes / crystal make a better light pillar ?

I find this odd, a few brings is up now and again but I always listen back and do a pass of the videos were i adjust sound

It’s a very cool bit of kit!
Bro come to beach to Canary Island
Been too a good few!
Aaahh! Thank you Alex, this is the highlight of my week that I always look forward to! That short trip summary, so far, was just incredible!!! ❤
Glad you liked the short trip summary, I don’t usually do bits like that, but I think it turned out quite well.

Of course the Romans built it!

Thank you ! Glad you thought it was fun
Brilliant video Alex. I bet you still keep catching the drone after that little accident haha. Fabulous to watch as always. All the Best Wishes 👍
I’ll land it now! I learned from my mistakes. Snow is easier to clean off a drone than blood is
I’ve been whacked by some pretty powerful drones but never had it that bad. Must’ve gotten really unlucky.
Yes, unfortunately complacency at my end using a drone. I think since it hit lengthways up the side of my finger the skin is far softer and thinner there than it would be on the pad. Although it did also cut straight through the nail bed as well
@@MispronouncedAdventures That accident made me remember I need to get some sort of landing platform thats easy and safe to use in the snow.
Another interesting video thanks!
Thank you for watching!
Auto captions say 'miss bounce adventures"..... I guess that ironically makes sense.
That’s why I call it mispronounced adventures. Any mistakes from me personally, or auto generated Captions is on Brand. 😂😂
What did the Romans ever do for us 😂 Thanks for another cool Nordic video.
Exactly, what did they ever do for us!
