mojo navigator - Barry Melton and the Joyfest House Band 2015

Instead of JoyFest last year the gang threw a party for JoyFest cofounder Barbara Moore's birthday and called it a Virgo Moon Party on the full moon of August. Barry wrote this song back in the day with Country Joe MacDonald and Eugene Denson.

You and me both. While the sound was captured with a twenty-four-track digital recorder the cameras consisted of two fixed and one roaming canon consumer-style minicams subject to battery, storage limits, and who among those at the party happened to be holding the roaming cam at the time. I included every shot of Barry available which accounts for some of the chaotic inserts good or bad. Of course, I may have been overly enamored with effects choices on my steep learning curve at the editing desk back then.
