Remember what Carl said back in the S3 finale "I didn't kill the Walker that killed Dale, you didn't kill Andrew and he came back and killed mom. You were in a room with the governor, and you let him go and he came back and killed Merle. I did what I had to do" The group didn't kill the Terminus people and now they took and are eating Bob
Noah Vends also Rick said they should pick off the the cannibals as they fled terminus but everyone was like “uhh that’s crazy.” He was 100% right, now they’re back.
In the after credit scene from 5-1 Morgan looks at the sign that Rick changed to NO Sanctuary. Then he sees a trail mark leading off into the woods. Rick's group did not leave a trail mark when they headed into the woods at that spot. Now we know who did.
Rick is concerned that Carl might be too trusting with Gabriel, and he was wise to point out that he shouldn't. Carl gets that, but also feels the need to ensure his Dad will hold onto his humanity. I like that both of these two are checking each other. It's good to see Carl mature into a Young man who cares about others. He Has Come far.
Father Gabriel is here! Also I heard that at 12:04 the scene between Daryl and Carol, Norman (Daryl) didn't mean to throw that bottle but they left the scene in because it was funny 😄
Y’all seem to be underestimating the value and resiliency of canned food. So long as there’s no leaks in the can, should be good. Boxed food, yeah, it hits the water, it’s screwed. And yeah, you guys are totally cottoning on to one of the Walking Dead cliches: too happy - yeah, some bad shit’s gonna happen. Without spoiling anything, next episode has my absolute favorite pre-credits opening. I can’t wait to see your reaction there.

He has his own thoughts about the situation but he's still willing to consider someone else's concerns on completely even grounds and handle things accordingly. Like, okay, my dad doesn't trust him, so I'll look around and see what I can see to help him out, kind of thing. A lot of people don't seem to focus on Carl's behavior in this episode but I was really glad Steve pointed out Carl was maturing. I think this episode really showed a /lot/ of that tbh. He used to go off trying to do his own thing, even not long ag, but instead of that, now, he's contributing to other concerns around him and seeing what he can do for them /in the area/ and not wandering off. Whenever he'd gone off on his own before it was like he was trying to prove himself, but now he can do things without wandering far and have that trust and respect. That's all he really ever seemed to want and now he has it, and Rick is treating his thoughts and feelings more as an equal's than as a child's. Carl doesn't need to wander off to try to prove himself now. He can do things to help out right where he is and be taken seriously for it. It makes me really happy tbh! The apocalypse didn't make him worse. It made him gentler and kinder and made him want to help people who needed help just like they used to need help.

Yeah they're sadistic, but also practical. You can't refrigerate the meat, so you cut off the required amount just before cooking..lol..this show goes where no other does, but that's part of the magic..gross I know, but I've no doubt cannibalism would occur in that world. Great reaction as always!
Honestly it was good that Tara finally told Maggie the truth because deep down she knew that she couldn't keep that a secret forever and Maggie forgave her and told her she's part of the family now also those Terminus people are fucked up kidnapping Bob and eating his leg
The people of Terminus, also known as Termites, obviously were so traumatized by their tormentors probably felt that cannibalism was the only solution for survival as they just couldn't make it without a constant stream of people to feed on. If you think about their territory, it was a cargo train depot. There would be limited area to grow crops due to all the concrete within the 4 walls of their community. They also didn't have livestock. So they turned to cannibalism. The sign posts and the broadcast of them being a sanctuary for all probably brought in a lot of stragglers seeking safety. On the show Talking Dead, they delved into a little more into how Terminus functioned. The Termites did offer sanctuary to those who came in, but revealed that they ate humans once they felt the newcomers might be receptive. If cannibalism was rejected, they were captured and placed in the train cars until time for slaughter. People who showed up and were deemed a threat or unfit were captured immediately like our group. Just wanted to share the background of Terminus and their fall into their desire for human flesh.
Seeing the shot of the group in patrol formation, looking so formidable, made me contrast it in my head with the group early in season 1, looking so defeated an desperate. They ALL have come a long way. Then I imagined our group marching along, Steve in the lead, Lacey with her AK slung in the low ready. Shes like go ahead, try something! Bad...Ass!!
