Criminally underrated musical geniuses and just great human beings. The way they compliment each other musically and there is no ego involved is rare...mark is a monster player
Myles is so much more humble than I would be. When Mark goes, "he played the tiiiiniest bit of rhythm guitar for the Mayfield Four," Myles doesn't say a thing. But he was doing great rhythm on most tracks and absolutely RIPPING on lead guitar (especially on Second Skin)! He's a class act and the nicest person you could ever meet!
The respect that Mark and Myles have for each other is very clear. They make space for, and encourage each other and that allows them both to shine! It's interesting that Mark looks back and highlights MF's 'Summergirl' and how he felt that it would be great having a singer like that fronting the band, and how confident it would make him feel. Fast forward and you can see that in the way Mark looks and smiles towards Myles just after he hits that incredible note in the RAH performance of Words Darker Then Their Wings. I'm sure Mark realised the pressure and weight of expectation of the moment for Myles and his delight at seeing his friend rise to the challenge is very obvious. The weight of life can really press on all of us some days. I've sat, put my ears in and put 'Summergirl' on play, and for those few minutes all those troubles just float away.
Chris DeGarmo and Michael Wilton were almost telepathic in their dual guitar playing, Queensryche in their prime were arguably one of the greatest twin guitar bands ever. What’s funny is that Mark and Myles have the same chemistry in their playing and songwriting.

I've been thinking AB has a ton of influence from Queensryche... Nice to hear that mention.
Myles has so many friends in the Spokane area.
It's cool to hear Mark mention the Mayfield four.
Couple cool dudes
I wonder why they don't mention two more band that Myles was in before Mayfield Four.
