I am fascinated by the rich history of the Banaue Rice Terraces. I have always been drawn to breathtaking natural landscapes, and the Banaue Rice Terraces offer one of the most stunning views in the world. I can't wait to see the green, stepped terraces stretching out before me, especially in the early morning when they are shrouded in mist. The beauty of this place will be a feast for my eyes and a source of inspiration. Visiting the Banaue Rice Terraces will be a memorable and enriching experience, and I can't wait to make this dream a reality.

As a Filipino, visiting the Banaue Rice Terraces is a significant item on my bucket list. These ancient terraces, crafted by our ancestors over 2,000 years ago, are a profound symbol of our rich cultural heritage and resilience. I am eager to experience the breathtaking beauty and historical significance of this place, and to feel a deep connection with my roots and the remarkable legacy of the Ifugao people.

Theres a story that my Lola told
me before she died of how my grand father died. My family originated from rice farmers In Cagayan Valley. During World War II the Japanese encroached the village that my grandparents lived in. At that time when the men in the village found out that the Japanese were approaching they forced the women and children to hide in the forest for their safety while the men stayed to fight off the Japanese. All the men died and when the Japanese moved on the women and children returned to the village where everything was burned down and the bodies of the men of the village were piled up and also burned.

Great docu! But guys, Batad Rice Terraces is not Banaue Rice Terraces ha? The town of Banaue is far from the town of Batad. They're completely different. Don't do what other mainstream medias do na they use images of Batad and show it as Banaue when it's not. 😅

as an igorot we are the clan of real warriors who never allow outsiders to come in our land to destroy our freedom, our beloved bravest igorot ancestors are the people in this island that accept any agreement from foreign invaders... our ancestors chose death and for thr freedom of our land than to accept christianity, becasue for them accepting the agreement from spanish and become a christian is symbol of no patriotism and and no love for our culture and tradition, for them it is better to die fighting for their land to achieve their freedom than to accept the christianity and become a slaves because of being coward people... and for being a brave warriors and patriots no one from those invaders either the Spanish, Americans and the Japanese become succesfull because all of them had failed to conquer our territorries, all of them was beheaded by our head hunter ancestors... No one and never can defeat the bravery and loyalty of our ancestors for loving their own culture and tradition where they really came from... we all igorots came from bravest raise of people in island...
