I have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (2012) with cgpa of 3.67/5 and work experience as a project engineer and currently CNC milling machine programmer and operator. I don't know if I should apply for a master's degree program in a university or post graduate certificate/diploma in a college. Although I don't have any preferences between the two schools but my concern is how do I justify the reason for opting to go to a college my instead of a university due to the fact that I have a 2:1 in the university in my visa application. Wouldn't it affect my visa application negatively?
Please I would appreciate if you could guide me on which one to go for that will boost my chances of getting admitted and the courses I can pick from in the colleges based on my educational and work background. Thanks in anticipation.

Please, for college applications do they require applicants to pay full tuition apart from the deposit fee.
A cousin just got admission into a college and his deposit fee is 1k dollars and the fees for 1st and 2nd year are 18k & 19k respectively.
Will paying the deposit fee alone suffice and get him into the schools? And will they need evidence of the whole remaining tuition fees like that of UK admissions...

Tuition Deposit: $1,000 CAD - you must pay this fee to hold your seat once you are accepted into a program.
