- This video is for the people, whose PR points are less and they decided to come to Canada as a student but, they are confused, should they choose PG Diploma or Master degree, which can help getting PR quickly. What are pros and cons of both.
Disclaimer: I am not a regulated immigration consultant, I am just sharing my personal experiences which, I gained through applying my application for Canada. I came in Canada in 2016 as an international student, after that I applied my husband's open work-permit and my son's visitor visa. I also applied visitor visa for my other family members too. After, graduating I applied my PGWP and my husband's open work permit. Eventually after one year, I applied PR for our family and also, got approved. I uploaded this video to help others by sharing my experiences and knowledge. If you need help for your application, I would highly recommend you to consultant a regulated immigration consultant in Canada.

Hi Dear. This video is really helpful. My visa was rejected last year when I had applied for post batchelor diploma. They only stated that since I had experience of 8 years and was manager it didn't align with course I selected. Now I applied for masters in university of winsor and have received the acceptance letter. I am really confused on what to mention in my sop while reapplying as a response to previous rejection. Could you please help me.

Hi Ma'am. My wife is applying for student visa for sep intake. So once she gets the student visa and moves to Canada many consultants are suggesting that we should apply for dependent visitor visa first for spouse I.e me. And then later when I move to Canada then apply for work permit from Canada and get the visitor visa changed to open work permit visa. Is this a good move ? Please suggest .

Yeah it ks a good move but make sure that the job you are looking for is high in demand and they will choose you over the other people with Canadian experience.
Canadian people will always prefer people with canadian experience over international experience

Hi Harsha, try to file PR asap; generally you require 1 year experience but you can file PR just before it expires. There is no rule like that.

Hi Poonam - I come from BCA background with 3year degree and have 2plus years of experience as a software engineer in a startup. I want to do my master's but as the Canadian universities need 4years bachelor's I have no choice left to take a graduate diploma or a certificate. Also the computer science diploma/certificates options are very limited. I understand the 2year diplomas hold some value but can I apply to university's for masters after getting graduate certificate?

Indian 3 years bachelors is equiavalent to Canadian 4 years bachelors. How do I know? I am a PR who had 3 year BBA degree from GGSIPU.

Yes brother, I got a decent job in one of the of the top 5 banks of Canada. Average salary should be around 40 to 50k per year.

This depends on your university, if it accepts 3 years of degree or 4 years. Most of universities accept 4 years bachelor degree.

Hi I did MBA from Vancouver Island University, yes, you can apply foe work permit after that. You can bring your daughter along with you but, it will be little difficult to manage with studies and part-time work, if you wanna work.
