Wow your the only other person I see do that I born in England my parents are from Jamaica my wife's parents are from Africa and. Sicily But everyone in both our families even our children Laugh at me coz I'm the only one who washes rice like This
I'm from Catalonia, Spain. In october we have a holiday called la castañada, and we eat baked castañas (chestnuts), boniatos (sweet potato), panellets (a traditional sweet made of almond weat and potato or sweet potato) and moscatel (sweet wine for dessert). Delicious!
Greetings from Mexico, my Mexican husband and I really like watching your channel, you are a very beautiful woman and your daughter is so cute, I love them.
Sutan's cooking skills has been greatly improving! This is maybe one of the reasons, 7:13 Letting you child do things that might seem challenging. Builds their independence naturally, I guess.
I mean, most of us Western otaku only know about oden soup because of the greatest posthumous character in all of "One Piece..." basically what you'd get if Heracles and Miyamoto Musashi had a baby.
To be as young as Sutan is, she’s quite impressive with how much she has learned from her mother. The best and funniest part is she is ALWAYS eating during cooking. And the faces she likes to make.
I love Oden! I traveled to Japan last January because I wanted to eat Oden and it was a really magical trip. It’s getting cold here soon so I may try your suggestions! ❤
Oden is definitely the best way to enjoy cold days in japan! my favorite is daikon! I have never tried to cook with chestnuts! I have to try! Thanks for the great content!
We occasionally have hot pot parties with friend and family lately. I'll suggest trying Oden next time! Can't wait for the Umami Sauce to be available for shipment abroad so I won't mess up making the broth myself 😅!
my mom was japanese, her dad (my grandpa) was a chef and taught my bio dad how to make Oden. It is such a comfort meal, i miss eating it. watching this video made me happy.
In Catalonia (Spain) is typical to eat grilled chestnuts during autumn. We even have a folkloric figure called "La castanyera" which roughly translates to "the chestnut lady"
You live a magical and inspirational life. I would love to see a video of you opening up about your struggles. I want to remember that even the happiest of lives are not without hardship.
Children in Australia eat sugary foods and salty fatty food. I liked the look of the food It sounded wonderful and the little princess cooking was lovely 😍🌹 thank so much❤😂🎉😢😮😅😊
I really do enjoy watching your videos. They-are always joy and brighten my day ,how would you describe the taste of Oden for someone who has never had it before. I will hope to one day try it. Hope you have a great weekend wishing you lots of happiness and joy.❤❤
In Germany you can get roasted and warm chestnuts from "flying" vendors in the colder months. Especially on markets. A lot of people like them but never tried them though. Also they were more popular in the past. First people used them to warm their hands and after or while they cooled down, the nuts were eaten.
My daughter and I watch a your videos and cook from them every Sunday. Sunday funday!!! Mahalo🤙🏻 for the great adorable contents. Arigato gozaimasu Kim 💚Sutan !
So this was the pot I was debating with Kimono Mom Donabe. I end up getting Kimono mom donabe for a few reasons and the most important one is that because I am a fan and I wanted to support Moe's Dreams 😊 and It was indeed a great pot, I use it everyday eversince I got it. My husband even want to sell our Zojirushi because I haven't been using it 😂 I so want to do this Oden with Kimono mom Donabe, wondering if we could do waterless techniques with Kimono Mom Donabe? 🤔 The only thing we are hoping that will be available soon will be Kimono Mom Umami Sauce 🙏 Glad that Sutan has recovered from her mouth and hands disease ❤ Sutan is now professional Chef 😁 "Delicious Smile" 😋 ママ最高👍
A dish Iike to eat during Autumn is pickled vegetables and other sour foods. My favorite is ceviche beef livers there is just something using lime juice and lemon juice to cook it and I can't get enough of it.
I don't see chestnuts too often in America, but my Grandpa used to cook them when I was a kid. They would just be baked with a little X cut on top. It's funny what foods you miss after someone is gone, many dishes were made just for him, so I haven't seen so many things since he passed away.
I usually only see chestnuts here about once a year around Christmas time (I am located in a small northern town in British Columbia, Canada) Sells quite well
I would love to learn how to make Okonomiyaki. As far as I know, the ingredients can be easily found overseas as well but a good recipe is needed! :) Or how to make the broth for Sukiyaki.
We don’t have fall season here in my country, but I was just craving for japanese autumn dishes like takikomi gohan, and then saw kimonomom new video posted. 😭😭😭 That’s it, tomorrow I’ll try to shop for this ingridients lol.
Oh, we. love chestnuts in America. There's a very well-known Christmas song with the title, "Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire." It was written by Mel Torme. Nat King Cole sang a very famous version of it.
Arigatou~! For being yourself and teaching me japanese. You are amazing everyday in every way 🥰❤️ I love your content . Keep up the good Work 💪👍 arigatou gozaimasu 😊
Greetings from Germany. My family is from africa but we eat chesgnuts here too ^^ My mother loves to just cook them in a bit of salt water and eat them PS. We have so many chestnut trees the falling nuts hut my head haha
I gotta do the song. "O RADISH AND FRIED TOFU! FISH-CAKES AND EGGS TOO! ONE, TWO AND THREE EAT THEM ALL UP FOR ME! ODEN WOULDN'T BE ODEN... ...IF IT WASN'T BOOOOOOILLLLLED!"
If you want to get all the meat from the chestnut, make small scratches with a knife before cooking and then boil it in water or bake it in the oven for about🎉 30 minutes. This way it will peel off easily.🎉
Thanks for watching, Kimonoko!🥰What kind of dish makes you feel autumn at the table? Let me know in the comments!!🍁

Mom n Sutan can you make Indonesian Food?
おでんは具材に出汁が染み込むと一層美味しくなるから、バーミキュラーは最適かも。
野菜の水分だけで作るカレーライスも美味しいですね。

A four year old being able to do so much in the kitchen is a joy to watch. Well done Moe.
Sutan's cooking skills has been greatly improving!
This is maybe one of the reasons, 7:13 Letting you child do things that might seem challenging. Builds their independence naturally, I guess.
You have to break a few eggs to make it in life!
@@NiclasFagerholm I've noticed you're into cooking as well. Keep at it!
The chestnut & mushroom rice looked delicious! Mushrooms & chestnuts remind me of autumn & winter 🍁❄
We also have chestnuts here in Europe, they are often available roasted as a street food.
"Oden wouldn't be Oden if it wasn't boiled! " - Kozuki Oden
Can't wait to make this some day 😁Sutan is so cute as usual ❤
I was waiting for the reference and UA-cam Comment did not disappoint
ah yes i knew i'd find the comment :')
One Piece
I mean, most of us Western otaku only know about oden soup because of the greatest posthumous character in all of "One Piece..." basically what you'd get if Heracles and Miyamoto Musashi had a baby.
The shrimp dumplings looked so yummy! Great job Chef Sutan & Assistant Moe! 💯🤗 Delicious Smile! 😋
Chef Sutan & Assistant Moe😂 You're right, she is boss😅
Adorable mom and daughter .
I ❤ Oden 🍢, one of my favorites dishes to have when the weather is cold. Sweet Potatoes 🍠 and Chestnuts 🌰 are also nice.
The bond between the mother and daughter makes me smile 😊 bless the fam!
I agree. I see nothing but good. If I see otherwise I will tell. I see nothing but good!😊
You two remind me of two proud pigeons happily clucking over some delicious food with feathers all puffed out and shiny eyes. Adorable ❤
Japanese food is some of the best I have ever had!
Sutan is young and will be a great chef. 👩🍳
To be as young as Sutan is, she’s quite impressive with how much she has learned from her mother. The best and funniest part is she is ALWAYS eating during cooking. And the faces she likes to make.
栗ご飯試してみます‼️
今日もスーダン可愛くて癒された❤2人とも大好き
I love Oden! I traveled to Japan last January because I wanted to eat Oden and it was a really magical trip. It’s getting cold here soon so I may try your suggestions! ❤
I usually love eating oden and makes me wonder how to prepare it well at least I know thanks to Moe & Sutan preparing it..☺️❤️
Seems like Sutan has recovered from foot and mouth disease. 👍 Always want her to be in good spirits.
It also seems like Sutan is still dressed for summer, even though it's an autumn🍂themed episode. 😁
In Autumn it's still quite warm in Tokyo 🥲 now it's 20°c during the afternoon
Haiiii
Oden is definitely the best way to enjoy cold days in japan! my favorite is daikon!

I cant believe how good your english sounds Kimono Mom!!!! I remember when you were first started practicing. Youve improved so much!
It’s great that Sutan has a plan to study! Start learning to wash rice now.
Your Oden result made my mouth water. I used to eat it with Japanese mustard, pork trotters and spinach when I lived in Okinawa. Delicious smile!
Two most favorite things prepared by my two favorite chefs.
my mom was japanese, her dad (my grandpa) was a chef and taught my bio dad how to make Oden. It is such a comfort meal, i miss eating it. watching this video made me happy.
Chilli & cornbread is my favorite autumn meal
In Catalonia (Spain) is typical to eat grilled chestnuts during autumn. We even have a folkloric figure called "La castanyera" which roughly translates to "the chestnut lady"
There is no ingredient in Moe's kitchen that could be sweeter than Sutan. She is absolutely adorable!
I'm Brazilian, I live in Japan, I like watching your videos!! I've been living in Japan for 33 years!!
"Delicious smile" so cute!
Beautiful momma and daughter Sutan 💕 Your dishes look delightful. Thank you 😊
You live a magical and inspirational life. I would love to see a video of you opening up about your struggles. I want to remember that even the happiest of lives are not without hardship.
I don't understand or speak any Japanese, but I love hearing you speak it! The music is good and you & Sutan are charming and entertaining!
I am going to start saying "Delicious Smile!" after every meal I make. So cute!
These Friday posts are always a good start to my weekend!

완벽한 가을 레시피네요!! 밤밥은 한국에서도 가을이되면 먹는답니다. 수짱 쉐피 레시피 알려줘서 고마워요💕
A dish Iike to eat during Autumn is pickled vegetables and other sour foods. My favorite is ceviche beef livers there is just something using lime juice and lemon juice to cook it and I can't get enough of it.
This whole time I had been scrubbing the rice three times, at least I had the technique right 🤣Now I know better! Thank you
Thank You for your delicious recipe
🌷💙🤍
chestnuts are my favorite snack ! wish i knew an easier way to peel chestnuts and still keep them whole

Great video! I love baked sweet potatoes! Otherwise a pumpkin soup is a dish that feels very autumn for me 🎃
Pumpkin soup!! Your comment made me decide to make pumpkin soup tomorrow🤗
Your comment made my day! 😁
I usually only see chestnuts here about once a year around Christmas time (I am located in a small northern town in British Columbia, Canada)
Sells quite well
We eat grilled chestnut in winter only in my country kuwait 🇰🇼 😋
Awww Sutan saying the Precure catchphrase
Great idea to just add a bit of salt to the rice. I tends to add too much favors like oyster sauce which might cover the natural taste
We absolutely eat chestnuts overseas. In Europe, and I hear even in NYC. We don't boil them, though, we roast them
Thank you for sharing. This brings back memories of my grandma Meiko. She had a dog named Ichi Bon .
I would love to learn how to make Okonomiyaki. As far as I know, the ingredients can be easily found overseas as well but a good recipe is needed! :)
