Thank you! This is the only DIY tutorial I've ever done. It was a little bit hard at first but then I quickly got the hang of things, I even cut out a strip in the middle and back of the box for easy ventilation. IT REALLY WORKS!!! Thank you so much!
Thank you so much! I followed this and now I have a laptop stand! I did some modifications, I added to strips of holes at the back in order to facilitate cord management and added some stickers for decoration~ I used shoe glue by the way, which I think is stronger. My problem is the flap on the sides, but it's not a big deal. Also, if I want more height, I just place it on a stack of books. The height of my laptop was a problem for me as my neck hurt from leaning down. I had like 7 books stacked just so I can get it into an ideal height, but it was sort of unstable. So I was thinking of buying a laptop stand or making one out of wood, but I'm broke orz. You saved me some money and from pain. Again, thank you!
Omg thank you so much crafty person! ^^ I would have never thought I could craft a laptop stand with the shoe box, very well thought! I love cardboard crafts as they are less expensive materials and can be shaped and cut so easily without too much effort ^^
I suggest removing the top cover part and just thickening the side walls with more carboard because the laptop will heat up the cover and heating your laptop more
Aye I made this with an Nike SB box in teal. I have an AF1 box I wanted to do but that one was a test. Plus it fits my 13' MBP just fine. Thanks for making this tutorial!
It's really nice 😍😍 but the bottom of the keyboard require ventilation and though I think it's not a problem thereby we can make a hole for that cardboard ☺☺ Thank you for the information 🙋🙋
I have one I bought, but it's so big so this is a nice idea... Only thing different I would do is cut some holes inside the sides and on the top -- especially by the fan chamber and venting areas because aside from lifting the laptop you want to ventilate it :)
Awesome! I made it exactly how you demonstrated. In future videos kindly reduce the background music volume. Otherwise great work. Now I have an extra storage space to keep all my adapters also a secret hiding place(LOL). Additionally iam using the bottom folding to lay my ethernet cable within the triangle folding (a triangle hollow ) that make the cable organization too. Again keep up the good work. I save 1000 bucks (ruppes). God Bless.
This was great! Thank you for sharing. I had a Nike shoebox so it was a little different but your guide was still helpful. It works great and cost me nothing!
@@R0KQ not really - I didn't buy the shoes so I could make a laptop stand. I had already purchased the shoes and the box would have otherwise just gone in recycling.
Make sure u have some sort of hole in the stand if ur doing gaming or more then just web browsing. Otherwise ur laptop will over heat and eventually maybe set the cardboard on fire.
why did you not leave the front part uncut at the first stage and make it the stopper point for the laptop? first you've cut the front part and then tried to make an additional stopper. I'll try this evening, I may post a photo if I could.
I need a stand for my laptop. Those go for $15 at my local store. This DIY is perfect, except that now I need to buy a $50 pair of shoes so I can use the box for this :(
But i have a question ?? Mostly peoples use stand from prevention of their laptops from heat but there is no way to heat out .. i think we need to make small holes in it ..
take a block kind of thing and take a exam cardboard and place the cardboard on the block and then your laptop on it , if you dont have shoe box then you can do it .
If you are really cheap like me just use a thick binder that’s empty. Hope this helped someone.
Mr. Awesome Thanks! Btw can you subscribe to “Aditya Palle Gaming Vlogz” ?????
how though?
how did I never think of this
I literally never thought of that. Am typing this on top of an empty binder now, thank you, you're a genius!
But this is a "do it yourself" video. Not a "get and go" one but this is a great idea

^^ Ya ya guys, that was the point of ze joke
Thanks so much! This video is seriously underrated. Especially looking at how expensive laptop stands are for some reason.
Good thing you can hear him over that music!
BuBs Ikr. The music seems too loud for his tiny little voice. I can't even understand mostly of what he's saying ☹
but this music is cool haha i enjoy it
@@jaebarquilla8238 u can see everything xD

tbh it will be same as the laptop staying on a desk
Very nice! I'm going to make one like this today. Just thinking about some ventilation system.. My laptop tends to get very hot
Try installing a fan inside

Just made one for myself, works great! I used crazy glue instead of hot glue.
Thanks, I needed a laptop stand but it is expensive, it helped me a lot.

You should make some kind of ventilation holes.
It's unnecessary if you use a MacBook.
get a laptop that doesnt have vents on the bottom lol
you just saved me some times which I was gonna spent to looks for DIY stands with better ventilation
Just poke some holes lol

Like your design! Thx❤
I love this design!!! I made one too!
a ideia é muito boa, mas como meu notebook esquenta muito, eu faria uma aberturas na tampa e nos lados para refrigerar, mas obrigada pela ideia

off-topic- he has a sweet accent and voice.
It looks actually quite nice
i myself made a stand with shoe box but it has a problem,if laptop overheats the air inside the box is not enough to cool it.
Then you should make some holes at the sides of the card board box as well, so the hot air could escape. :)
very nice, thanks a lot!
Genius man
Step 1:Buy a shoe and make laptop stand with box
Step 2: Buy a laptop
Thank you! It worked for me pretty well
Oh my god thats an anoying music!!! Love the video by the way...
might aswel put the laptop on top of the box at this point ;) jk good work bro

But i have a question ?? Mostly peoples use stand from prevention of their laptops from heat but there is no way to heat out .. i think we need to make small holes in it ..
Perfect,i will do it👏👏
Mine was a bit different but was quite good and comfortable
the top of the box prevents the extra ventilation from happening
This is epic craft!!!!
Love the idea, but can you not have the music on when you’re talking cause I can barely hear you
What happens if a guy has the world's largest laptop 😂
take a block kind of thing and take a exam cardboard and place the cardboard on the block and then your laptop on it , if you dont have shoe box then you can do it .
Okay... I'll buy a new pair of shoes and then make it 😂😀
This was of great help. Thank you
