I found your channel because it popped up randomly in my feed, because I was searching for some time now for a good gun stock, and yours looks just perfect!!!🤩 First, I have to say that your videos are really well done! I just printed the gunstock. I cant say enough how I love your design. It works so well, far better than the Protube VR. Keep on going designing stuff like this youve got a new sub ❤

Ich würde empfehlen mal nur den cup zu drucken und den gabz leicht hoch zu skalieren. randomly found this video googling for a printable gunstock. this is way more quality (print, and content!) that I was looking for! great! thanks for the STL I'm gonna try that :)
I certainly do not deserve this gun stock. There is somebody more deserving of it than me. I managed to afford a 3D printer so I’ll just have to get that set up so I can print it. Thanks so much for designing this and sharing it.
that's so cool and how you've made it free is even cooler. I don't have a 3d printer though to print myself so it would be pretty cool if I got one fully printed for me!
Thanks a ton for making the file available for free. i already made my own gun stock but I want to print this one now. once again thanks for making the files free
Who wouldn't like an exotic gunstock?😍 I like the cheek rest, it is very thoughtful of you to include it. Thanks for showing your design process. If I had this gunstock, I would probably attach vibration modules (there are ready made under $20 each) and a retracting module (taken from an PS2 Guncon) and wired them to an ESP controller board. Then, whenever I shoot, there will be rumbling and retraction punches associated with firing the gunstock. 😊 Hell, before YT prompt me this video, I was looking at a 1:1 portal gun model and thinking of where to add these little controller holding cups to mimic an VR gunstock. 😉 Again, who wouldn't want an exortic gunstock?😁
Because let’s be honest: blasting zombies or robots in VR while holding nothing but air can sometimes feel like you’re flailing around in an invisible conga line. A VR gun stock gives you that satisfying heft-and a little more accuracy, too-so you feel less like you’re swatting mosquitoes and more like you’re actually saving the world. Plus, it’s a handy excuse if anyone catches you making dramatic reload motions in your living room: “Hey, I’m just testing my new equipment.” Then calmly take off the headset, smile, and pretend this is all part of your serious training regimen. Sure, it’s plastic, but it’s the principle (and the fun) that counts.
I love this idea of posting how you came up and problem solved this whole fun stock issue. It never ceases to amaze the ways people can show their ingenuity. I don’t have a 3D printer at home and have never 3D printed but I’m sure there are services for that. Though I hope to win this thing for Xmas, I know my chances are slim. But it would be an awesome Xmas present. I just have purchased the quest 3 VR set and I’m in this euphoria stage where the novelty of it blows my mind. I’ll never look at FPS games the same again without VR. Anyway, thank you for showing your problem solving process, it was a great idea for a video and for the fun stock. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!! ❤ from 🇺🇸
I want this no no I need this in my life. This is my solider and this is my gun. This one for shooting and this one for fun. What a great video and amazing design. I have get one definitely 👍 👌
Great video! I'll start printing it tonight. The description feels a bit AI generated but it's understandable given your non english background. I really like how you tell us about each part of your design and iterative process and you releasing the files completely for free. Your videos are really fun to watch!
Great video! I've been playing pavlov lately and I was remarking how hard it was to stabilize a rifle. I'm going to give this a print, and try it out for sure!
The split was a great add. I was thinking how to add some way to use handguns with a gunstock as well as rifles and I, obviously, thought of over engineering it. Magnets work just fine
I am new to Fusion have made a couple small thing usually modified mounting hardware for something, this was a great oversight onto generative design with constraints and forces to help me do things like make some parts and have it figure out how to best connect them in a way I can FDM print without needing to sketch up how I am going to join parts together. I am going to print the shoulder bump stock in TPU as-well, that was a great choice :)
The reason I need this gunstock is that I have been looking into games that require a fast and light gun, this design is one-of-a-kind and looks fantastic I really believe that this could become a one-of-a-kind product and seems like it may have a promising future good luck to everyone who is trying to win this gun stock and to the creator thankyou too the creator for giving us this opportunity to win this gun stock therefore I'm going to subscribe I am looking forward to see your creations in the future and I wish everyone the best of luck and a merry Christmas, Thank you
thanks for creating this ! it's the only stock i found that actually works for the quest 3 controller since most of them of reverse engineer from the quest 2. I had a little of trouble printing the fine details parts since i don't have a bambu printer but worked great anyway
For once the Google algorithm brings me something useful. Having tried almost every stock on thingiverse, thank you for this one. Thank you even more for adding a left handed version. As others say, you should have way, way more subscribers.
i want to win this bad boy! :D Man you are a genius!! i search hours and hours the right gunstock and finally find it!!! (some companys gunstock ridiculous expensive)
Great video, I NEED this gunstock because we recently moved country and I had to sell my 3d printers, and now I can’t print this really cool design 😢 😅 Great job on the video!
wow this is love for ho bies. and literally one of my biggest reasons for wanting a 3d printer next year i do IT consulting and man ...the tinkeribg.. the wifey makes fun of me because i have to "customize" and modify everything lol. i fully agree there are nice stocks...but so many fall short. this is a gorgeous design. well done!❤
very quick to make, looks pretty, very cheap as well, good job, but I think you could take a different approach to it with "open cups" system and eliminate the needs of a magnets, easier to use with sniper rifle (reload) and easier to grab, maghets are always annoying to align.... similar to the OneStock if you want to have an example
I specifacaly did not gonwith open cups. I used it with open ones and I had to hold on to them. That hurt my hands. Also when the stock is longer than your hand u bump into the floor while picking up stuff. The magnet finds it position super easy. Give it a try 😁
I will for sure, it’s an interesting print easy and fast to do, but I used different gunstock in the last few years and I found very “natural” the grabbing style of some gunstocks, obviously you need to have some kind of knuckle strap and sling or yes, it will be very uncomfortable
Interesting idea to have it split in two. In games like Sniper Elite you need to use your right hand to cycle a bolt action rifle. This seems like it would be difficult with this frame currently.
This looks awesome! Been looking for a nice gun stock since I just started with VR. I see it says you cannot buy but maybe this is high demand now, Are you selling this at all now? Great vid!
impressive video! from some one with so few subscribers too.. that's a damn shame. good job ide love to win one but dont have a a crew of people to up vote me or a convincing reason y i should get it so ill just tell you u did a good job
Absolutely awesome, thank you, I'll just have to adapt it for use with quest pro controllers which have no battery doors and needs a "sock" to attach straps. I'll post a remix of just those parts when done if you don't mind 😊
Hey I loved the video truely impressive wish I was as talented as you😂I’d love to enter the draw to win this ive tried to make so many DIY gun stocks because I can not afford with a one year old daughter and another on the way and fps are my main thing newly subscribed and look forward to watching more content
This is beyond awesome! But can I make one request and design change? Could you make the cheek piece connected to the front controller not the rear? That way when we use pistols we’re not swinging around a stick all over the place? I feel like it would be better to swing the stock away with the front hand since that’s the support hand we use for rifles. And the rear hand is for pistols AND rifles
You can convert a mesh to a solid is fusion. I do like how the program retopologized though. All that work to not even include it in the build lol, cool to see the process though. Keep up the projects!
Jaw dropping! Great editing! Amazing design! Undeniable highest class professionalism! Is there a way to print this design with holders for different brands? I'd really like to get your gunstock but I have Vive controllers.
Any chance you could make the left handed hind stock (the one with the adjustment rail) in 2 pieces so it will fit on the bambu mini A1...it doesn't seem to fit the bed
You certainly can. At the moment i am trying to find a way to make the CAD Models available without breaking the Exclusiv Model contract with Makerworld. I hope to announce that soon
I also tried for way too long to design a gunstock that satisfied all my requirements. One of which is working with the controller straps where you can let go of the controller and it stays on your hand. I was hoping this design would incorporate that, but for people that don't use those, it doesn't really come to mind as a requirement. I do wonder just how good this is with conforming to different gun types in games. Specifically Into the Radius where you're using a wide range of guns, but also looting the environment and interacting with objects.
U Can Still use the straps. They go through the stock. So they are still usable and u can let go of it if u like. Also i play tabor and exfilzone, so there u have a lot of different wapons, sometimes switching every minute and it works greate for me. Also there is a lot of looting
@@Ibuiltathing I meant the types of straps that go over your fingers like the Valve index controllers. So you can let go of the controller and it remains in your hand.
this is a really good model i love the root like look on the pieces but its only for quest 3 controllers, my quest two ones don't fit in the slots and the battery lid doesn't latch shut to them is there any way you could make the model backwards compatible with the quest 2's remotes please. other than that looks amazing feels amazing to hold an amazing print.
I should have this gun stock because my brother wont make one for me because he knows it would mean I can finally beat him at all the multiplayer games we play together!
The idea is wonderful, congratulations. How do you switch to a pistol, for example, or when storing the weapon, since you need the controllers to use your hands? Maybe it doesn't apply to all shoter games like shooter and looter.
it is specially made for looter shooter games. You simply split the stock. Its so light that you can use the contrllers seperatly very easy. i Play a lot of Tabor with it
My 3D printer, a tool I relied on for countless projects, recently suffered a catastrophic failure, resulting in a devastating fire that consumed my entire workshop. The loss of equipment and materials has set me back significantly, making it difficult to continue my passion projects. A new gunstock would be a much-needed boost, allowing me to rebuild and continue pursuing my creative endeavors.
this is amazing i just got my first vr headset. i been wanting a gun stock but i have just heard bad stuff about it and i dont have the money to buy the best one out there.
The only thing with vr stocks I have an issue with is the ability to use on a sling and be able to detach both hand for use with a sidearm, a lot just don’t make that very viable
First of all great job! I also work in Fusion 360 and always wanted to try generative design. Now I have the motivation thanks to you. I need this gunstock because I am a VR enthusiast (since Oculus Rift CV1) and ASG (I see you are too :) and it would be a great rig for me. A few days ago I bought Quest 3 and got quest+ with the game Pavlov, coincidence?
Why is the magnetic attachment not directly below the front controller? It will make the front controller move more freely and the back stock more balanced.
I printed the rear stock in petg-gf and doing light stress test it snapped luckily I didn't print everything else. So if I recalled you ended up printing yours in resin? Which resin did you use and did you leave the model solid or did you hollow it out and what thickness? Thanks Oh the TPU parts printed beautifully.
Hey there. Contrary to puplic oppinion gf or cf materials are actually weaker than the not loaded materials. That is why it snapped. I have these parts printed in pla for Tests and they still hold up. Gf or cf only increases stiffness but decreases the breakingforce quite significantly. The added fiber lays down in extrudibg Direktion. This takes away Lots of bonding surface for the actual Polymer so layer adhesion is worse. Try normal petg. I did not print in resin. I used sls (Laser sintering) for it. The material I used was pa12. U can get that with Services like pcb way or I.materialise reletively cheap. Hope that helps 😁
Yes it's superglue. But I was made aware that there is a bevel missing on the lower part. U need to add that (grinding or so) updated Version should be soon available
Banger build. Unfortunately, i have a quest 2 and can't print this for it. If i ever have the time and you havent made one yet are you okay with me making a remix for the quest 2 controllers on makerworld?
In my opinion the senlaki gun stock is a bit better and seems more versatile than this one. But it's great to see your workflow and problem solving skills to try and achieve your goal. It's very informative as well, so people could take some of your ideas and use them for different projects.
would it be possible to upload the step files? the magnets you recommend don't fit well and the mechanism of holding the magnets is pretty flimsy. i'd like to make it stronger and give the magnets a tighter fit. rest is pretty good
First, Wow! Amazing design and great video! Second is a question, any way to get the original cad/design files? I like to see if I can modify it to work with the BoboVR grips as I like to figure out a solution that wouldn't require me to take the grips off each time to use it. 😅
if possible, wouldn't it be good if there was some way to store the original battery cover while you were using the stock, to save losing them? sorry if someone else has suggested this already.
Could you upload a version without the weight reduction? I prefer it when a rod has some weight, and since I will be printing with polycarbonate or PETG, it should be quite strong. Or if I upload the STEP file, I could adjust it myself.
@Ibuiltathing I mean without the generative Design elements, if it's Hollow somewhere where it dienst has to be would fill that up myself to then anyway. I prefer if it's heavier.

Can you easily switch to sidearm
Yes, thats why i have it splittable. The Stock is super light so you can even use it one handed.
Alter Falter mega Aufwand dafür, dass man in Multiplayer shootern weiterhin von 12-Jährigen abgefrühstückt wird - I love it 😍
Ahmen XD
Great video, I NEED this gunstock because we recently moved country and I had to sell my 3d printers, and now I can’t print this really cool design 😢 😅
Great job on the video!
wow this is love for ho bies. and literally one of my biggest reasons for wanting a 3d printer next year
i do IT consulting and man ...the tinkeribg.. the wifey makes fun of me because i have to "customize" and modify everything lol.
i fully agree there are nice stocks...but so many fall short. this is a gorgeous design. well done!❤
How do you have so little subscribers? Very professional content.
Thanks a lot. I'm in the beginning of my journey on youtube. I hope I grow 😁
What jacket is this? Looks high quality
very quick to make, looks pretty, very cheap as well, good job, but I think you could take a different approach to it with "open cups" system and eliminate the needs of a magnets, easier to use with sniper rifle (reload) and easier to grab, maghets are always annoying to align.... similar to the OneStock if you want to have an example
Great vid!
Meinen tiefsten Respekt. Ich bin sehr beeindruckt von deiner Arbeit. Danke für das Teilen.
Thanks very much 🫡
Damn, how do you have only 700 subscribers? both the video and the stock are amazing!
Building a youtubechanel from scratch takes time 😅
impressive video! from some one with so few subscribers too.. that's a damn shame. good job ide love to win one but dont have a a crew of people to up vote me or a convincing reason y i should get it so ill just tell you u did a good job
Absolutely awesome, thank you, I'll just have to adapt it for use with quest pro controllers which have no battery doors and needs a "sock" to attach straps. I'll post a remix of just those parts when done if you don't mind 😊
I am working on getting my hands on quest pro controllers to bring out a new Version.
Nice build
Wow you have such a impressive editing style! you just got yourself a new subscriber!
Thank you so much!! :D
only 750 subscribers? how?! your content is so good, I can't believe my eyes.
Aw man, other chanels with similar names are overshadowing you, that's really sad... I truly hope you overcome this and get as famous as them.
Looks amazing…❤❤❤
Danke für die Mega Arbeit! ❤🙏🏼
(Thank u for your Great work!)
does it work for the Quest 2's controllers aswell?
Just adjust the stock when switching to the smalest position. Worked greate for me
How much did it cost you to print with pcbway in total with preferred materials?
about 125 or so
You can convert a mesh to a solid is fusion. I do like how the program retopologized though. All that work to not even include it in the build lol, cool to see the process though. Keep up the projects!
Oh it is included in the stock. The cups with the baterylid. The lids are the part I retopologised
Jaw dropping! Great editing! Amazing design! Undeniable highest class professionalism!
Is there a way to print this design with holders for different brands? I'd really like to get your gunstock but I have Vive controllers.
Man that’s awesome!
is there a way to make the cheek adjustment and pad one piece?
U Can Fuse them in any program.
Any chance you could make the left handed hind stock (the one with the adjustment rail) in 2 pieces so it will fit on the bambu mini A1...it doesn't seem to fit the bed
U can use the cut feature of babu Studio for that.
If u cant get it done let me know and I will quickly do it for you
Your Gunstock model is beautiful ! Can you tell if WE Can add an haptic system like vibrations and shoot impact ???😅 Thanks ?
You certainly can. At the moment i am trying to find a way to make the CAD Models available without breaking the Exclusiv Model contract with Makerworld.
I hope to announce that soon
@@Ibuiltathing that would be awesome :) i would love to make a beat saber and golfing handle to play mini golf
worth a sub! thank you for sharing a free 3d file
Probably a stupid question, but would it work with a quest 2 controller?
this is a really good model i love the root like look on the pieces but its only for quest 3 controllers, my quest two ones don't fit in the slots and the battery lid doesn't latch shut to them is there any way you could make the model backwards compatible with the quest 2's remotes please. other than that looks amazing feels amazing to hold an amazing print.
i am on that :-)
@ thank you so much can’t wait
I would like a gunstock like this because I desire more immersion with Into the Radius 1 & 2. It's not freaky enough yet to stop my heart.
Thank you for this tool!
Love to print this but hard finding good Pico 4 gunstocks.
Would this work with the quest 2 controllers or only the quest 3? If not, do you plan to or could you release the step files?
On Makerworld they told me that it does work with quest 2 as well but i havent tested it my self. Try it out and let us know :-)
I should have this gun stock because my brother wont make one for me because he knows it would mean I can finally beat him at all the multiplayer games we play together!
A new gunstock would be a much-needed boost, allowing me to rebuild and continue pursuing my creative endeavors.
i am printing this right now. and i finished the first half, for the front controller. i still need to sort a magnet tho!
Let us iniw when you're done 😁
Can you send the cad for edit the size of magnet? I want to try with 2 magnets 25x6 mm. Thanks.
this is amazing i just got my first vr headset. i been wanting a gun stock but i have just heard bad stuff about it and i dont have the money to buy the best one out there.
I Hope this one fills that gap :-)
@Ibuiltathing ye but sadly i haven't goten any likes
The only thing with vr stocks I have an issue with is the ability to use on a sling and be able to detach both hand for use with a sidearm, a lot just don’t make that very viable
u do not need to detach with this controller. U simply split it in two and use your ands independantly. also with sidearms
wow you a badass and should have many more subs
First of all great job! I also work in Fusion 360 and always wanted to try generative design. Now I have the motivation thanks to you. I need this gunstock because I am a VR enthusiast (since Oculus Rift CV1) and ASG (I see you are too :) and it would be a great rig for me. A few days ago I bought Quest 3 and got quest+ with the game Pavlov, coincidence?
Why is the magnetic attachment not directly below the front controller? It will make the front controller move more freely and the back stock more balanced.
i tryed it. it makes the gunstock harder to assamble
I printed the rear stock in petg-gf and doing light stress test it snapped luckily I didn't print everything else. So if I recalled you ended up printing yours in resin? Which resin did you use and did you leave the model solid or did you hollow it out and what thickness? Thanks
Oh the TPU parts printed beautifully.
Hope that helps 😁
how do you bring together the cheek rest ? did you gule it?
Yes it's superglue. But I was made aware that there is a bevel missing on the lower part. U need to add that (grinding or so) updated Version should be soon available
Banger build. Unfortunately, i have a quest 2 and can't print this for it. If i ever have the time and you havent made one yet are you okay with me making a remix for the quest 2 controllers on makerworld?
Awsome. Thanks for the info. I will have a look into those and update the model with a quest 2 version
Thanks man that is amazing. Easiest sub I've made. Great backlog of cool stuff to watch. Hydrofoil video was a banger btw.
In my opinion the senlaki gun stock is a bit better and seems more versatile than this one. But it's great to see your workflow and problem solving skills to try and achieve your goal. It's very informative as well, so people could take some of your ideas and use them for different projects.
That's why it says "the best stock you *cant* buy. 😅
would it be possible to upload the step files? the magnets you recommend don't fit well and the mechanism of holding the magnets is pretty flimsy. i'd like to make it stronger and give the magnets a tighter fit. rest is pretty good
First, Wow! Amazing design and great video! Second is a question, any way to get the original cad/design files? I like to see if I can modify it to work with the BoboVR grips as I like to figure out a solution that wouldn't require me to take the grips off each time to use it. 😅
i am working on a solution to get the cad data out without breaking agreements i made
How about a open grip in the front
i didnt want that because then when i use my right hand to pick up stuff the stock would crash in the floor
if possible, wouldn't it be good if there was some way to store the original battery cover while you were using the stock, to save losing them? sorry if someone else has suggested this already.
That is an awsome idea !
What do you think. Should you store them on the stock it self ?
I will look into that when I push out the fixes
@@Ibuiltathing for me, yeah I think on the stock somehow would be best.
Awesome Work!
Could you upload a version without the weight reduction? I prefer it when a rod has some weight, and since I will be printing with polycarbonate or PETG, it should be quite strong. Or if I upload the STEP file, I could adjust it myself.
What exacly do you mean? Without the generative design or just without the hollowed part on the stock it self?
@Ibuiltathing I mean without the generative Design elements, if it's Hollow somewhere where it dienst has to be would fill that up myself to then anyway.
I prefer if it's heavier.
I see the mention of the 33mm magnet in the back grip but no mention of what was used in the front.
Ah. The magnets come with Washers in a Pack. That's what I used
Ah. The magnets come wirh washers in a Pack. That's what I used
