Glad to see you still going! I don't want to make assumptions on where you are with this stuff, or age of course, but it's great to see fresh eyes on this stuff after I've been doing it for all my own life (although I started with XP/Vista). I'm only six minutes into the video so can't comment on that yet, but I just wanted to get this out commented before I have to run. All I wanted to comment on for now is the audio balance - the music is really drowning you out at the moment. Otherwise, I really like the style of these videos - takes me right back. Also not at all jealous of that laptop.
@thes_real Yeah, I think you were further away from the mic sometimes so the music was then louder than you. Then once you got closer it was okay again. Otherwise I'm loving it.
ok thank you. also my editing software supports changing the volume of audio tracks partway through the audio. maybe i should increase the audio with my voice when i am quiet. btw i use blender 4.0.1 for my video editor (i did try use blender 4.2 when it was the latest but it was crashing all the time but the older version works fine)
I started my career supporting Windows NT 4.0. Once you get over the fact it's not Windows 95 you can see how vastly superior it is in terms of security, business, capability as it felt like the first grown up Windows. Massively fond memories.
For me, Windows NT 4.0 was a Worse OS, than Windows 95b, is was not Consumer Friendly. Even when it was running more stable. Windows 2000 was much Better. Thank you for that Video.
Here's some tips for you.... 1. Get a phone with a better camera so people can actually SEE what's going on 2. Get off the floor, no one wants to see your dirty floor, especially since you have a table RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU. 3. Start do voice-over on your videos instead so you get much better audio 4. Don't do SUPER GOD DAMN CRINGE OUTROS!
@TDGalea I am not made of money. My mic cost 25 USD from eBay, my webcam was 2 USD from Wish... And he has a good enough PC since he can do edits. Not much money needed to start
1)i do have a smartphone (a samsung galaxy s9) but a usb webcam was much more convenient for me 2)the table is my desk, and i dont have much room as it is quite small and besides you probably dont want to see my messy desk anyways fyi 3)i never thought about voiceovers lol 4)its cringe because i never plan my outros, i just make it up on the spot

thank you! btw i do need to get better at audio balance, i think i might have mistakenly made the music a bit too loud.

@@thes_real I personally use Kdenlive myself. It's gotten much better over the years.

Why was there a picture of a random SSD drive when talking about file systems
it makes sense, file systems use sotrage devices for storage

@@BrianTheMighty Yeah, microphones and cameras can be cheap, but still. You don't know a person's situation.
