That specific hunter-killer is a modified Euruskan OrgaMech. Yes, it is essentially, Nemesis. With space marine level armor.

I like the fact there is a couple large scary mechs that just, for the lack of a quick explanation; eat people. And so far the scariest guy for everyone is the man that can't die and slowly walks towards you in a menacing stride.
Yeah some balancing really needs to be done regarding weapon damage.
SVD is pretty much the best non HRF long range option since its 300 damage, headshots evaporate just about every non mech or boss enemy in 1-2 headshots max, meanwhile the 12.7mm does almost half that wity half the mag size. AK/RPK pretty much shit on everything when modded out. 95 round drum, 200 damage, better ammo availability, lighter and no class requirements. Pretty wacky
also another thing is how common the mods are for the AK. Like 75%+ of the mods you find in boxes are for AK.
You think that's wacky? Try the AA12 shotgun with a 32rd drum magazine. That's 100dmg, per, pellet, X8. Absolute God slap with a jump pack.
@lihaikun eh I haven't used shotguns much since no supressor and gotta be close. Given how combat goes I'd say they're probably fine where they are but might have to run them more to see for myself. What I mean by wacky is how a normal rifle outshines an HMG so hard

Fun fact about the Taccam: It can't see stealth units. So far I know that most of an EXO is stealth (you can see the joints) while the Corpse Tank and Grabber are fully stealthed to Taccam scanning. You will not see them highlighted in it's vision. Incidentally, Grabbers are apparently in the class of enemies meant to be too healthy for a team of players to kill. (1 billion hp in the files.) Mother Courage are also in that class, but they can't hurt tanks and thus if you wait long enough and they don't despawn, a tank can and will kill one. (or beat it down so much you could kill it.)
Honestly, I kind of love how it's just labeled 'Hostile' because that suggests literally no one knows WTF it is. One theory is that it's the placeholder Hunter Killer, not intended to spawn anymore but sometimes does if the proper HK doesn't spawn.
The spectre M4 can be silenced but cant have a sight fitted
The Kriss cant be silenced but can have a sight fitted. Also the Kriss seems to have a higher fire rate. I switch to in tight situations especially against running cyborgs

They do need to work on that muzzle flash effect with a suppressor though. Suppressor should automatically reduce muzzle flash by a ton.
I've experienced invincible hunter killers as well. Though for me it was one of the dogs. I could shoot it and stun it but it would recover after a few seconds and continue the chase. It was pretty tense because of it's speed. I had to keep turning to engage it or it'd over run me. I believe it is intentional.
It is intentional, but not in the way you think. Simply put, those enemies are supposed to have special damage mechanics that aren't implemented yet. You will be able to destroy grabbers, mommies and such, but not now

Im pretty sure there is some kind of rudementry penetration system. You can drop 75rds from an rpk into a hunter killers face and all it does is stagger them. Meanwhile painless, which is 200 damage .50 cal, will drop a hk in 10rds. Then there are the invincible enemies like toothie and grabbers.
I think you might be right because I've never dropped a tank with anything but the literal anti tank rifle or grenade launcher
That’s a Euruskan OgraMech. They are unkillable dangerous enemies.
Not technically unkillable, but like the Mother Courage and Grabber units, it does have 1 billion health. (Literally, its in the code.)
Vector doesn’t have a built in suppressor. Found that out the hard way.
I went searching afterward, and there were notes about it looking like it has one IRL, but does not. Kudos for in-game accuracy.
Also you don’t have to pause or stop when using the tac cam.

I had to sneak my little booty past Toothy at the pipe extract, scariest shit. THEN a run later on I had to sneak past an OrgaMech. Somehow that was scarier lol
Are there no explosives in this? Man every time I watch gameplay from this, It makes me want to get it. I just hope they improve the animations.
You can get ieds, and grenade launchers
They have IED's and they are hilarious. Ive seen some STUPID ragdolls.
It's possible to take the explosives large item and hit it with some bullets to set it off. They won't chain react though.
You can edit the screens in your city to play video you rename the file and have a diff character model appear in city as well

I think everything must be killable, but with a high cost (ammo, reputation, etc...).
It has 65k health and toothy has 73k health
I play solo Scav Girl, and she just sprints around the map with scanner on. Grabber won't show up on it tho...
Orga mech, i think its small enough that i really hope fundog lets us have one. I dont care if its a quest line to get one, but god damn it i want one.
What are the benefits of running pistols? I’m interested to, but shotgun/gls are too safe. Is it more of a stealth/less threat and low weight option (aside from Sawed off hand cannon)
Was farming hunter killers with help of the big brawler dude constantly aggroing into and 1 hitting them
