I stopped watching at 6:00 my 2014 Subaru XV would have done better in those diagonals. it seems to me embarrassing performance, especially for the Jeep. I was now convinced to stick to my Subaru. thank you for helping me make my mind.
Hi love the video thanks, I notice you refer to the evoque as an all wheel drive but it is actually a four wheel drive as it has a centre diff which locks. Cheers
@@ducarty1188 2012-2013 Evoque got the Haldex based AWD system. 2014+ Evoque got the GKN Active Driveline AWD system. Neither are true 4WD as they are FWD systems with an angle gear of some sort. Hope this helps.
Hi Julien, do you have any info on 1998 Volvo S70 Non turbo automatic transmission? I replaced solenoid B with after market part it worked for a year then code came back. Symptoms are it doesn’t downshift to 1st gear when it warms up.
The XJ should have a limited slip diff in the back as standard. This one didn't seem to be operating though. Possible due to replacing the diff oil with the wrong type causing the limited slip to slip completely
Nice video, but this doesn’t seem like real off-roading. Even a regular car could handle this. I’ve driven on terrains like Wangoo Hills, which are steep, rocky, and truly challenging-this is nowhere near that level. It feels more like a scenic drive than an actual off-road adventure.
It got through some spots the lifted XJ couldn't, so I wouldn't say your statement is correct. Ground clearance is the only issue that I ran into but it is stock.

Considering it's tyres, skirts, and lower ground clearance, the Evoque was pretty impressive off road. Looks fun to drive, too. Great vid,
Whoa! Looked like fun. I was holding my breath when you sped through the water.
Glad to see you’re using the off-road capabilities. I’m going to do some mild overlanding with my 2018 and plan a small lift and some bigger AT tires.
Nice job Julien! You've provided me some more inspiration to get back on my lifted mk4.
Watched this video before buying my evoque. Just haven’t had the balls to do it yet. Nice video!
Thank You for Sharing the Expirience💖💖🤗🤗✨✨
Thanks ! Just got mine. Time to take it off-road methinks!

this car is 100% AWD using a haldex system
Hi could you help me understand the Haldex system. Did you have the centre diff removed and install an aftermarket AWD system? Cheers

Hey is the exhaust from factory? I LOVE THE SOUND
Nice video. I like your wheels...what's the brand and size? I want to put them in my Evoque 2013.😂😂

Does that xj have diff lockers? Just watching the first section andvseems the xj should of strolled through that.
That's the only place the evoque has an advantage, to be honest. The traction control system is really good and short of lockers it does wonders

I have a 2014 evoque and I want the led headlights he has on his does anyone know where they sell them?
No one working harder than camera guy.
Hooray!
Great
I just love dia

So basically its total shit off-road and are just for show off city driving ?

@@eurojulien Yeah my 2008 rexton does a better job :)
@@Revelation13-8 If it can brake individual wheels to keep traction, i'd be surprised. Make a video and shoot me a link :)
