- We've Been Hit by an Unexpected Curveball | Full Time RV Life
Sometimes you get hit by an unexpected curveball... some challenge that pops up out of nowhere and jolts you back into reality.
This week, we're Wingin' It about an unexpected challenge that has popped up for us this week.
As full-time RVers for almost 6 years, we've gotten used to being flexible, adapting to change and having our plans in pencil. But we never saw this one coming!
🤠 Thanks For Watching!
We are Tom and Stacie Langland, known for 10 years as RV Texas Y'all.
We are Native Texans and Full-Time RVers who are all about exploring the Great State of Texas and America one campground at a time. We're on a mission to experience life, not just live it and we're bringing you along for the fun.
In 2018, we sold our house, our business and gave away just about everything we own to hit the road and see America. Our home is a 33' motorhome named Freedom. We installed an extreme solar and lithium battery setup so now we can camp just about anywhere with our dog (Star) and our cat (Astro).
Every day is a new adventure, so join us as we RV America Y'all.
Safe Travels and Happy Camping!

We live florida no state tax no excise tax on vehicles. We're on affordable care act don't pay anything for insurance if you make under 50k a year. Very minimal charge at 75k a year income
This absolutely IS political…I have a friend who works for the USPS and she says they are doing this all over the country and mainly effecting nomadic travelers because they predominantly vote conservatively. This is a shady way to affect voting! Just awful! Please make sure your VOTE counts it’s the MOST important election of our lifetime
🙏🇺🇸🙏
Florida healthcare and insurance are great, no big increases for us you will be find. Move your primary address to Florida! Move your VOTE to FL as well asap!!
Just do a mail forwarding, no rush to change everything else. Your already registered to vote, just keep using old address until changed later. No issue really and you can most of it online including car license, driver license, and then insurance.
This is a very interesting topic. Please keep us posted on the outcome. Seems like if it’s the USPS requiring this change, it has me wondering if this new rule applies to all businesses offering domiciled mailing services.
Be careful. As a Floridian, car insurance rates have gotten out of control, which means you can expect to pay significantly more for RV and toad insurance as well. This has been one of the biggest challenges since Hurricane Ian. Make sure to get a quote beforehand to understand the new costs.
Will do, thanks Fred!
We have Florida’s residence and works great for us…no big increases on our insurance
Every company is going electronic, so you should be able to use the Livington address as an "apartment"number and not a regular "PO BOX. Is that what Escapees is suggesting?
Since we work out of our home but wish to have our privacy, we rented a commercial PO Box in a small satellite mail outlet (like Post Boxes Plus, etc.) but to be able to receive ALL mail and shipping (FedEx and UPS don't deliver to PO Boxes), the address is listed as (example) "12345 N. Elm, #105-154, City, State, Zipcode." The #105 designates the building number at the strip mall where it's located, and the "154" is the actual "mail box" that is designated for OUR business alone within the postal outlet. In 18yrs and several changes in ownership, we've never had issues with mail arriving there. If needed, the shipper will package and forward mail to our private residence, but we generally don't need that since we pick things up every couple of weeks.
With regards to health insurance, we talked about this a little when we did the podcast with you. We aren't on Medicare yet and have a plan purchased on the ACA healthcare exchange. Florida has tons of plans to choose from and, depending on your income level, there may be subsidies available to you to help offset the cost. With our BCBS PPO plan, we can get any kind of care anywhere in the US. Other plans you might not be able to do that so choose carefully. Before I retired, I went on the exchange and did some research to find out what the various plans cost, what the benefits were, and what the subsidy might be. You can do this without actually applying for a plan. Lastly, you might want to time the domicile change to Florida with the end of the year, as that could complicate your current insurance situation. I know, it's more research to do! You know how to reach us if you want to discuss further! Good Luck!
As a current Florida resident, and an Escapee for many years, I have had to have two addresses. For my regular mail its Livingston, for official mail such as my drivers license address, plates, tags, it has to be listed as Bushnell, FL. I also have my absentee ballot listed with Bushnell, and IRS etc. This is a FL rule and Escapees helped me navigate through it. My absentee ballot will go to Bushnell then it will be sent to TX then finally to me. Weird but that’s FL. Expensive auto insurance because of hurricanes and other storms. Hope this info helps!
We have been full time for 2 years. We use My RV mail out of Crestview FL and they have been outstanding. We registered our vehicles and registered to vote there also. The Florida DMV there is amazing and they were very helpful. We have had no issues thus far. Good luck
We are at Crestview also and love it. But, remember a couple of years ago they had an expansion there and the post office made them change the street address by like one number? They fought it and lost and we all had to change. But we still love them, it wasn't their fault.
We are Wyomingites and we use RV Mail Service out of Montana, they have an office in Sheridan Wyoming and they do exactly what you’re being moved to. Everyone has the same street address but has a Suite #. We also have a deeded rv lot in Wyoming with a personal address PO Box, that we pay taxes on but we can’t expect the local post office to handle our mail like a mail service company does. It’s a pain to go through the change but regardless which way you decide to go you’re going to have to change everything. I feel you’re pain, but it’s rv life dang it. We don’t pay state taxes and property taxes are cheap also
That's some good information for folks!!! Thanks!!
You might want to check Texas Home Base in Wichita Falls , Tx .We have been full time for 8 years and no issues. They are very service oriented and react to any need or request. Highly recommend.
Funny how Harvest Host just took over escapees. We were told the mail service and RV parks would not change. Your best bet is to have a physical address of a relative or your property address.
We are definitely leaning that way, thanks! 😊
Good luck on deciding what to do to resolve your issue. Hope you can report back that it turned into a blessing.
We changed from having a PO Box to having a mailbox at home about a year ago. Just a head's up, since the address change has already been made, expect your address to automatically be updated on credit cards and other personal business items. I was totally surprised by how many things automatically updated. It actually felt a little intrusive and was a real eye opener. One big question is how would your mail be handled at the RV park if you change to a FL address? Good luck with your decision and the process.
The postal service told us a couple years ago that we had to move our mailbox from one driveway to another as we live on a corner with a through driveway. Where it was previously was on a very large heavy post dug way way down to make it steady and now it’s on a flimsy plastic post not very far down in the ground due to where exactly they wanted it. Yes they were so anal about location that they told us exactly where to place the new post. Where it was previously had been there for over 30 years. The local postmaster said she had zero say and that we had to follow the letter or be denied our mail. We live out in the country so daily drive to town wasn’t an economical option.
Marc & I are both born and bred Texans so we hear ya. We travel full time but similarly have a physical address in AZ at a 55+ resort where we pay taxes similar to what you guys do in FL. We domicile in Sioux Falls, SD which has worked out ok so far, BUT ...recently were told that in the county of Minnehaha which includes Sioux Falls that they are not allowing folks with the PMB address to vote! I'm looking into it, but we may have to domicile in a different county in SD if that's true. If your plans are to keep the FL property for 5-10 years, it seems it would be a good solution to go ahead and domicile there. But yea, need to research the insurance part of living in Florida. If you aren't too far away from Medicare age, I'd lean toward Florida domicile. Or, if you have a relative in TX that could receive your mail till you are Medicare eligible, that might work too? We did that for a few years, our daughter got our mail in TX, would send pics, I'd tell her to keep or toss and then she would forward any important stuff every other week wherever we happened to be to receive it. You can set pretty much everything up online or email these days which is also what we've done. I'm sure you and Tom have already done that.
I domiciled in Florida using the Bushnell RV Park as an address and Florida was so accommodating and easy to work with and get things done EXCEPT when I bought a new RV. They wanted $10,000 in taxes on a $150,000 purchase. So if you're not making any new big ticket purchases, go for it. I chose to domicile back in my home state as I was going part time instead of full time. I'll still pay that $10,000 but in Property Taxes, Income Taxes and Registration fees spread out over 4-5 years. I'll update my address to my home state as renewals and the like come around. I'll let my Escape mail forwarding address go over time. It served my well. I was never domiciled in Texas so not quite the same situation for me.
Thanks for the heads up on taxes and for sharing your story.
Born and raised in Fla, and they've been a bit notorious for this kind of thing for years. Proudly crowing LOW TAX STATE while they reach in your pocket to collect 'miscellaneous fees' instead.
SO GOOD TO SEE YOU TWO. LOVE YOU ANNAMAY
Health insurance in FL is reportedly some of the most potable health insurance around. The only real downside of domiciling in FL is that your auto insurance will skyrocket
I live in florida. The vehicle registration is $155 per tag xtra for new residents first year.
We have seen that & need to consider that additional cost! Thanks
I don’t know about tx .. but in Florida it’s a no fault state for vehicle insurance.. if dude runs a stop sign hits your rv in the side . Your insurance has to pay for your repairs.
Oh my! I dont think I'd go green file ever again . A POB is just that. Hope it works out. 😊
We are full-time RV travelers (we met you in Scott's Bluff NE) for 3 years and we use America's Mailbox in SD. We liked it because we could change everything, within a couple of days. This brings me to the question: How long does it take in Texas to change over everything; do you have to be there to get it all done? Waiting period? If you domiciled in FL, how would you manage your mail? We do not have vehicle inspections in SD. No state tax either. Is it possible to interrupt your travels, leave your RV at one of your reservations, fly to TX to do the necessary paperwork if it can happen in a few days, and then fly back? Big hassle no matter what, but hopefully because you are already registered as TX residents, it could be less complicated?
GOSH I REMEMBER WHEN YOU WERE MOVING OUT OF YOUR HOME. LOVE YOU ANNAMAY
You can do a lot of it online. Texas DMV website!
Thanks
If you’re paying property taxes in Florida then maybe you should domicile there. We will always remember your channel as “RV Texas Y’all”.
Thanks for that! ❤️
An advance warning from Escapees would have been nice. I just renewed my driver's license and haven't even gotten it yet. We have been considering dropping Escapees and going a different route for mail. The way this was done helps us make that decision. I heard that Escapees was bought out.
That's why we bought a lot and casita in the RGV.
I get it! 😊
Something so simple is rarely so. Good luck with all this.
Man, I feel for ya guys. Hope everything turns out.
It will work out just a little bump in the road! 😊
Hearthside LOT 294...call it home! In all seriousness, hope things work out quickly! Dave
Thanks Dave! 😊
We have been full time since 2020 and also purchased an RV lot in FL. We changed from a domicile address to the RV lot address. I would recommend doing one more time to your FL address. Biggest issue for us is the increase in insurance. As far as medical insurance we are on my retiree high deductible plan so no idea about the ACA costs in FL. Good luck.
Are you going to have to register your vehicles in Fla?
Possibly so!
For those that still work for a corporation, this is really bad because they don’t like PO Boxes. Your previous address works just fine for corporations. I’m going full-time this fall and using a domicile in South Dakota. Hopefully there’s did not change also.
When I checked into this, I found to domicile in Florida, you have to spend 6 months and 1 day in the state to be a resident. How they track that, I am not sure. For that reason we went with America's Mailbox in South Dakota. Their requirements are much different.
Thanks for the info.
Praying you work it out!!!
We went FT 18 month ago and est. Domicile in SD. Yeah it's a hassle to change addresses but honestly 95% can ALL BE DONE ONLINE! Simple to change addresses online with insurance, banks, credit cards, subscriptions etc. It takes a little time but it is quite easy to do completely online now-- it's not as big an issue as this video seems to make it. People move all the time and change addresses.
Thanks for the input but like you we went through this 6 years ago and it wasn’t that big of a deal but this time we aren’t there in person so it is different because doing it all on line is the only way we can do it but it’s still a major hassle with banks and so on and now possibly changing to Florida!
I wonder if that has anything to do with Harvest Hosts buying Escapees?
That’s a good question, who knows! 🤷♂️
That was my first thought, as well.
@brownsugar1616 harvest Host did not buy the mail service or the Livingston RV park. HH only bought the events (Escapade, education, capers, hops and rally type events and the member discount side) Even the Escapee CO op RV parks remain as they always have been. HH is also managing the member website. The Carr family corp still runs the mail service and TX RV park.
Try reaching out to Chad & Tara of Changing Lanes. I believe they use Florida as their domicile. They are full timers
Thanks for the idea!
Congrats on 6 yrs. of FT life. We've been FT for 6 yrs. too. It sucks that your legal address changed. This happened to us once when the mail forwarding company we were using went out of business, costing us thousands of dollars to drive across the country to return to our domicile state to change our driver's licenses, registration, banking info, etc., some of which could only be done in person. We use Louisiana as our domicile. One of the biggest reasons for this is we were Louisiana residents before we retired and went FT, so we already had our vehicles registered there, DL and banking there, etc. We chose a parish that does not do smog checks. This is important to us because we have a 25yr old motorhome that might pass a smog check and a toad with 450,000 miles, that certainly won't pass one, and it would be cheaper to replace our toad than make it compliant.
It is expensive to initially register your vehicle in Louisiana, as the sales tax rate where I live is almost 10%, but renewals are cheap. I think we pay $80 every 2 years to renew our registrations on both our motorhome and toad. La has a state income tax, but it is very favorable for retirees. I think we pay about $50 a year to the state on about $44k in income, because most of it is SS and a small pension, and we limit our IRA withdrawals to $8k/yr. to avoid any federal income tax. A big downside of being domiciled there is we must pay the 10% sales tax on almost everything we order online - though none of the items ever make it to Louisiana. This adds up over time, as we order lots from Amazon living on the road. Insurance is expensive too - comparable to Fl. In fact, it just went up to about $1,100 a year for both our MH and toad. We're both 68 yrs. old with a perfect driving record of no tickets or claims. We haven't returned to La. in about 2 years and won't need to until it's time to renew our DLs, 3 years from now.
We know exactly how you feel. In 1991, I left active duty and settled in California for about 13 years. We always considered Texas our hone and eventually sold our home and came back to Texas. We still own property in California, but we also own property here. We are lucky to have a permanent address here.
The big consideration is, does Florida have an income tax?
Is the vehicle registration reasonable in Florida?
Is vehicle insurance more expensive in Florida?
I believe your vote should be ok.
❤ Love y'all videos. A very interesting topic today. Wishing you both well. 😊 Love to see you both come up to West Michigan.
We were in NW Michigan and the UP for about a month this Summer & loved it. We look forward to seeing more in Michigan in the future! 😊
Reason #368 why I'm subscribed here- Part-timers soon and full-timers in 10 years with an eye on a lot down at Gulf water's in Port A- thanks fer the lesson ya'll
wow hope it all comes together
There are several YT full & part time Florida domiciled channels that you could ask, some you have run into before. Full Time: 1. 1StrangeAdventure. Part Time: 1. Traveling Robert 2. Brazen Brits I know there are more, but that is all my brain is helping with! Good Luck.
Guys We just received that email. Luckily we are on our way to Livingston in the next week or so. This was already a planned trip .Barb sent them an email to try and request when this is taking place. We know somebody probably knew this way in advance and could have given us some notice. It was probably due to the recent sale.
We just very recently joined Escapees and was given the new 101 Rainbow Drive address. I totally understand your frustration because there is a lot to do in getting everything changed. FYI after we got our new address we did go online to do our drivers licenses and they were mailed to us. We did go into the tax office in Livingston to register our vehicles but was told that we could also do it online. We did apply for our voter registration cards when we did our drivers licenses. We have not received those yet but I was able to go online to see if we were in fact registered. Hopefully some of this information will help and sorry you are having to go through this hassle.
Looks like you’re at 7th Ranch RV Park.
We love it there.
The county we live in had a new 911 system come in about 15/yrs ago. They changed our address of our home. It was pure hell. It was like moving without moving. Terrible. I know how you feel.
You got it! It is a very relaxing place but wish it was a little cooler. This is the hottest day temperatures we have seen this Summer!
"You get what you get." Livin' in paradise will always have its challenges. Bottom line... you are blessed and will get through it.
💯 agree
Some time ago, a friend told me that if you own real property (house, condo, land, etc.) in only one location, that is your domicile. Meaning it supersedes having a P.O. Box anywhere else. Now, I don’t know how accurate that is, but it seems reasonable. Maybe someone will have some firm info on that. Good luck!
Well, you know I can't offer any valuable information, but, man, giving up your Texas plates would be a tough one. hahaha
Why doesn't that surprise me? Sorry you all have to go through all that...
Florida has great healthcare…you will be fine!
I live in Texas and had to do a change of address last year. My location hadn't changed but my address had. I wanted to get everything taken care of prior to an upcoming election that I felt was very important. The first thing I did was go online to change the address on my driver's license, followed by my voter registration and all the gazillian other places that needed to be notified.
I had printed out my temporary driver's license and waited for my permanent one to come in the mail. Then I waited and waited and continued to wait. When My temporary TDL was about to expire I contacted someone at the online office about it. I was told they had a "glitch" in their system the day I had applied, my temporary was still valid and they would get my TDL to me asap. It never came.
I ended up voting using my old TDL with my old address. I don't know how that worked since my change of address with my voter's registration had already gone through, but it did, and I was thankful.
I did end up going in person to my local driver's license office and successfully getting a new TDL with the correct address on it.
I hope things go more smoothly with y'all.
I wonder if this has anything to do with Harvest Host buying out Escapees?
@@hoss1003 good question
We own RV lot in Punta Gorda Florida. We are residents of Florida. ( my husband) We sold our Home in Delaware this past July. Our Motorhome was always tagged in Florida but are car and truck was tagged in Delaware. Now I have to change my license to Florida my Husband was a Florida resident when we bought our Motorhome. So now we have to change all vehicles to Florida and get insurance. So we will be doing that in October. As far as medical when had primary doctor in Punta Gorda and in Delaware. We had no problem using united Healthcare in both states. We like the medical treatment in Florida. No waiting we have sick visits and we’re seen that day. So we are happy in Florida. We also have a Seasonal RV lot we got this year in Delaware. We got it in March and moved our Motorhome to Delaware and stayed in it until the house sold. So we decided to keep it for next year. It’s at the Beach and our kids live in Maryland so it’s convenient. So we see both of our Doctors in Florida and Delaware. My husband still works remotely. I’m retired we are early 60s
Wow, thanks for all this, I think we will change to Florida after the election! Smileu
We just got the Livingston address last year and changed everything in November. Now to do it all again. 🙄
We’re probably on the road another year to year and a half. Not sure I’m going to bother changing it until they tell me I really have to.
Gosh, that's a tough one.
I heard through the street talk that Harvest Host bought out Escapees. I assume the address change has to do with that buyout. Just throwing it out there.
They did & who knows? 🤷♂️
I’m my Lord. Hopefully you can do most of it on line. Bless your hearts. Maybe if you change it to Florida, one might fly to Florida and do what needs to be done. You could check out some of the your questions on line
This is why I would still keep my small house in Ft. Worth if we ever went full time RVing.
I hear ya!
Try contacting Chad & Tara from Changing lanes RV. They are full time and I believe their domicile is florida
Good idea, thanks! 😊
Check what your insurance rates for your coach would be in Florida, if your lot is in a flood zone you may nit be able to get insurance.
We have checked that and we can get insurance for a comparable price! Thanks 😊
I have a private mail company in CA with a "box" number, but it's not a USPS p.o. box. You should be fine; it could be an apartment number for all they know. UPS, FEDEX, etc..do not want to deliver to the post office entity itself. Hours of operation is an issue as well for UPS who delivers late, but they know their route and deliver accordingly usually. Maybe stay put for 6mo and see how it goes, they must have forwarded everything, right?
Is this happening elsewhere as well or just this one location?
Not sure 🤔
We use Americas mailbox in box elder, SD for 5+ years.
Thanks, we have several friends that do as well!
I have a similar issue with UPS Store .... 1234 main st suite b #123 city state zip.... Will Not work for registering vehicles and insurance ... I finally chose to not renew my ups store box lease as a result. Is it possible to simply buy some more property in Tx vs Fl rv lot?
Wow! They sure picked a bad time to throw this at you! A lot of travelers will be put into a tailspin over this. I hope you are able to get your voting taken care of. We were staying home at the sticks n bricks until after we vote. It's an important one! Our daughter is near so we forward our mail to her and she scans or takes a photo of what we need to see while we are traveling. We are heading to Corpus Christi for December and January this year. I hope it will be warm enough. We were in Mesa last winter. Good luck with all this!
If you activate your Fl. address, will the mail get handled properly, ie the bulk of mail that will accumulate over time?
That’s one of the biggest questions we need to get answered.
Good video 😊 I'm in California not full time yet seem to be a little problem there seems a lot of rv's have gone to south dakota heard things changing there have property in California safe travels
On the plus side ..somethings can be done only possibly & down side the few things that demand in person required will bu the fiscally painful...good luck on what ever direction yall choose. Hang in there !! 😮
As a fellow Texan, I get it ❤
Change of address shouldn't be that hard and it is the same county so as far as voting, it should be okay.
Most entities have online change forms. Y'all can do this ❤
We will after the election! 😊
Don't forget about your bills, banks etc...also I hope its not a scam...Rainbow Street mmmhhh.😅
😂
Yes you can change your address online for your DL and at the same time it will change your voter registration by checking a box. We just started with Escapees and our address is 101 Rainbow Dr. I hear what your saying but it's a process but doable. We are from Texas and we get it. 😍
Contact St Brendan’s Isle in Green Cove Springs. They are very familiar with what you are looking for in Florida.
Florida vehicle insurance is 3 times as high as Ohio . We keep our domicile address in Ohio . Basically do to insurance. Florida insurance was going to over 3 k a month for insurance on our rv and car . In Ohio it’s only 1100 a month . The tax advantaged isn’t a advantage it’s a mind game .
The insurance is probably better in Florida. For us, most ACA healthcare is nationwide. Costs vary by county. Vehicle insurance will likely be much higher. I agree with others that with property ownership - Florida is probably a better legal domicile. Good luck - it is a heck of a thing to get sprung on you.
Try changing your banking/financial institution address first....new rules apparently require a sticks and bricks address, and it can't be a business address. At least that is what we are experiencing.... are others running into this same roadblock?
Yeah we got that email too! Not happy as I have an international trip
Coming up so there’s no time to update drivers license and passport. Also Bank of America does not recognize the new address
Timing seems a little strange.
Yep
Agree that the timing is interesting given that the Post office drove this change and is a federal agency. Coincidence? Maybe.
Don’t do it - us Texans need to stay strong 💪
I hear ya!
Florida: A nice place to visit long term but wouldn’t really want to live there full term.
Domicile has in South Dakota. Everyone seems to like what they have to offer and I hear that it’s easy. 🤷♀️. As always it’s your call of course. We love ❤️ Texas too. Honeymooned in Galveston 😃 ☀️
Someone said it wasn't a big deal but because it is voting time, It Is A Big deal since u aren't returning soon!
We live in Florida and we part time in our Class A. I have Obama Care through Florida Blue. I absolutely love it and they do a great job. If I leave the state coverage drops off. Under Obama Care you are not supposed to leave your state. Florida Blue will pick it up under an emergency though. Cost is $362 a month.
Don’t forget to add Newmar to your address updates!!
If you change to a Florida domicile, and you register your vehicles in florida you will be paying a wheel tax on each vehicle. Our insurance was reasonable for our edibles. I am retired military so I don't know what heath insurance costs. Good luck
Oh my!!! You may just have to change your address completely and move it to your Florida address since you have an actual property there. No reason to take the Texas out of you though... I don't think that's physically possible anyway! 🤠
The advantage is of course, no address changes anymore. The disadvantage is just not knowing enough about healthcare costs, etc... and it is quite possible you will find better healthcare in Florida. Good luck... let us know how it goes and what advantages/disadvantages you faced in the change! Be seeing you
If you have kids in Texas just rent a room in their house and draw up a lease agreement. Pay them a dollar a year. You only need a legal address to be a resident. Use your current escapee address for mail.
Auto insurance in Florida is extremely high.
Just have a quick question, if everyone uses the same physical address could they possibly turn around and say with so many people with same address be considered spam mail or whatever that is called? Hope everything works out for you. Safe travels
Unfortunately, you can not do anything with your voter registration “on line” in Texas. Only by mail.
“This address change will not affect your ability to receive mail with Escapees Mail Service. Your prior address will continue to be accepted and not returned to the sender so long as your PMB number is provided. Please notify all correspondents of your new address at your convenience.”
This is at the request of the post office. Am I wrong to assume it’s the same as a number or street name change for a sticks and bricks? It’s not a new location but a new number.
Correct, it’s the same location just different address number. Our PMB number is the same. Escapees told us that they won’t refuse any mail to the old address but couldn’t tell us how long USPS will keep delivering the mail to that address.
@@rvamericayall okay, so just submit electronic address number changes. I’ve done most of mine already. Not too difficult
sounds like Florida is your best option
We think so, after the election!
Sometimes, the government just can't leave well enough alone.. 🤷🏻♂️
😔
Can't you use a family or friends address. The post office is cutting back on these domicile addresses. This is going to be an ongoing problem I think.
It's an interesting problem to have, when it comes to elections. Everyone talks about "cracking down on anything suspicious, by golly!' - and what could be more "suspicious" to the outside observer than dozens of people that aren't related to each other all claiming to live in a building they never actually seem to be in?
Every law that seems sensible on the surface and is intended to solve one problem usually creates two MORE problems, somewhere! Good luck with it!
Change it to Florida address … Military families do it all the time .
Pensions, social security, insurances, auto titles, voting registration, taxes for permanent address change! All your banking, credit card, and all your three credit reporting agencies! Forget about your local libraries, or your somerhome, or maybe a timeshare!
It’s the post office that is causing your problem
