Well if the show did (somehow) crash, and they recorded multiple episodes before release, they would lose out on hundreds of thousands of dollars and weeks of Time, and that would be ones that did release. The ones that Andrew couldn't manage to get enough sounds or good enough sounds, they would release and would've wasted 2+ plane tickets and hotel stays.
@@AJ-ht3kf hard to keep a show going without money bruh. Even youtubers aren't immune to the demand that creating a project you want will cost loads of time, or time & money.
@@DemonaruMusic I agree that money is a major factor. And about UA-camrs, what puts them aside from others is what they do with their time as content creators rather than the how much money they put into a video. At least from how I view things, there are content creators who have created good videos with just using time and doing what they can with the money available to them. They chose to make something out of time rather than scratching the idea because of money concern.

Linnen Carrot Oh so it’s okay if Andrew does the same thing by himself and loses out on hundreds of thousands of dollars, but not if a big company that has way more money than him does?
@@amaracea I work in TV. 1) this didn't cost him hundreds of thousands. 2) TV shows have insurance policies that require a unanimous vote by all producers to pass and to be made. I agree with you, wow-- they're really really missing out on a really good opportunity-- but its reasonably understandable why some dude who has never watched youtube before would vote no to an idea like it. Bad move, but understandable.
It isn't the internet that killed TV. It's TV's own stupidity and its constant bet/assumption on its viewers' stupidity. Good riddance if you ask me. The sooner, the better. You show them Andrew.
TV has to cater to as many people as it can, whereas the internet/UA-cam can afford to get more niche, and in my opinion produces something that's interesting on a deeper level than the format of TV could ever offer.
Well, let's say that internet can't kill TV because they are for different audiences, at least that's the case in China. And if we consider TV as "just any steaming service that produce their own original show or outsource their premium shows" and look at reality shows in general, it isn't about viewer's stupidity either, it's all about, how many ads can be squeezed into the show nowadays. Andrew's idea surely can't create enough sponsored slots so that's a big no no for those TV producers.
@@thrownstair Or let's say TV has to get as many ads as it can which makes them keen on contents that appeals to as many people as they can, while content creators on UA-cam that isn't sponsored by UA-cam directly (besides ads but not every channel runs on UA-cam ads) can choose their own way of funding their content, and thus can choose to be more niche if they so want.
I love this idea. It would be rad to see you learn/teach about the musical cultures from each place you visit (and maybe how western music has taken inspiration from them) - and then using soundscapes recorded from your stay, creating a piece of music inspired by that culture. Would make for a really well rounded series imo
This channel is so inspiring every day. You probably won’t see this, but it’s griped amazing how much you make me continue to fall in love with music. Thanks so much.

I had made a really good friend from the Netherlands, and he passed away a couple years ago, and I really wish I had the opportunity to visit him. This video kinda allowed me to have a glimpse of what it could've been like to visit him. Thanks Andrew... as always, the music is incredible
Jake Lionheart you should go. I think by going on a journey there you would get to experience your friend's country and maybe (in some sort of sense) get to see your friend. I'm glad this video gave you something ( ^ω^)
You should try pitching you show in the netherlands we have had some shows like this but only 1 or 2 were about music and none of them had your amazing view and artistry + your show is way more about modern music and will attract more young people whereas the shows that weve had were more for older people and like highly educated people.
These two trips--music is everywhere, it felt amazing. Like you really captured your feelings about the place, the warmth of the people that surrounded you. Your love for those things and for the music, I felt everything. Hope to see more of that, my dude.
Andrew is so inspirational and inspiring. I’ve been going though some tough times recently but Andrew really made me feel alive today. Keep inspiring people Andrew. And thank you for making the world a better place.
Maybe this is the most beautiful and artistry way of combining creativity and entertainment in a very fresh, inspiring and emotional package... Thanks Andrew!!!
Andrew you are amazing. I love you a little more now, not just as a UA-camr, but as a dreamer and as an artist. I've gained so much inspiration through your videos. I love the fact that you could make more and easier money by making a tv show as they wanted you to do it, but you followed your instinct, you followed your heart. And what you've made is beautiful. You are amazing
As a Dutch person, seeing someone from another country be so enamored with my little country always makes me remember how good we have it here. I guess I and others here sometimes forget that. Thanks Andrew, loving your channel!
AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH, it's so good! I would watch every episode of this show! That guitar song at the end (I forget the title) takes on a whole new meaning with your explanation of it. It's so good!
you say "you make music" as if music doesnt inspire and connect people more than any powerful and successful person ever can you're selling yourself short, man.
Well it can seem like that sometimes. Music school or art in general is viewed by many as the place people go to if they can't do science. In fact if you say you do any form of art, most people would probably tell you to get a real job..
Man this is a really stimulating and awesome video, it's telling of the energy and ideas that come from your mind but also the atmosphere that came from being in the Netherlands. I think if there's anyone that would give you the lead to a TV show that's genuinely like this should absolutely do so. (Also btw the cinematography might be one of the best parts to this video)
I really like this concept of traveling to a place and making two songs, one with found sounds and one song about how the place makes you feel. Love both songs.
I don't get tired of saying this, Andrew Huang's talent is astonishing. In every single video, he blows my mind in a way that I can't explain. So inspiring, motivational, emotional and full of good music. Would not replace his short awesome videos with any show on tv (music related).
Andrew this is absolutely beautiful. As a Dutch person living abroad, this pulled so many heart strings it's making me cry. I love the little snippets you show of The Netherlands in combination with your stunning sound. It feels like home.
I loved your use of the ticking from the traffic light. Something your average person would probably consider an annoying sound, you turned into somehting cool in a track
This is awesome! I actually don't like to watch travel shows because as cool as they are, I get jealous of all the places people go and all the things people get to do in the shows. But introducing a music element makes it so much more inviting and personal. I know when *I* travel, inevitably I'll get to have these magical moments that can't be put into words, and when I think about these moments later I often imagine them with some kind of music playing in the background, like a montage. So I think your idea is amazing because not only do I get to relive your experiences how I think about them, but I get to marvel at how you make the music itself. I would definitely like to see more videos in this style.
You are one of the main reasons i want to start a career in music, i have so many good ideas that are inspired by videos you've done, thank you for the amazing videos

Thank you Andrew!!!

I really don’t understand why business won’t let you do this. I do think it’s because they don’t think it’s that profitable, but I bet if they weren’t stuck up in their cash they would accept it. Keep doing you, Andrew, and maybe you’ll make it

The ones that Andrew couldn't manage to get enough sounds or good enough sounds, they would release and would've wasted 2+ plane tickets and hotel stays.
I agree. They have the issue of not being able to see past their own noses. When you’re so desperate for something that you fail to see the true way of getting it and lose out on it in reality.
This is true. The argument of losing out is a valid one, but without taking risks you’re not gonna have a breakthrough, and that in itself is somewhat of the reason people don’t try to pitch their ideas on tv, since with platforms like this, people can make nearly whatever they want, and with that, can always appeal to at least one group of people, and sometimes that causes viral videos, which then makes these businesses lose out. At least, that’s what I’m thinking. I’m not sure.
Holy cramoly, this is literally the best example of why traditional TV is going to go out of business before long. Who can watch this and NOT end up feeling something inside? So many emotions, so amazing. This made me want to go to Holland, made me want to follow my dreams, made me want chocolate sprinkles for breakfast, made me want to buy the album, made me want to build that crazy bed in my daughters room where she doesn't have enough room for a bed and cupboards, made me feel at home. God damn Andrew, this is your best work.
This show is just so inspireing, interesting and really touched my heart. I want to be a musician in exactly the way it is showen in this video. So if in 5-10 years on of my days look like that, I would be the just a happy and fulfilled soul.

How to do music is what you taught me. 4 Producers 1 sample, Music is everywhere, weird gear. All these were possible because you went with what you wanted to become. What makes you YOU is You. I know half of the things about music today because your videos inspired me to check stuff out and make music no matter. So what if you are not an astronaut? So what if you are not in MIT making sustainable energy? As much as that stuff is important, so is peace of mind. This is what the last song is about. They all listen to songs. They are just as inspired by your music as you are by their achievements. I don't know about others, but no matter what, there is someone who will always follow you.
Time to wipe those tears of mine.
Sincerely,
A mechanical engineer and a passionate musician.''
This will never show up in the TV for one single reason: this is top quality content.
Well done Andrew. That was a lovely tale.
I love your tv show idea. Don't give in to the hot dog hawkers.

No matter what Andrew isn't, he will always be a huge inspiration to hundreds of thousands of people. Can't take that away.
Always optimistic, tries whatever.

this video has inspired me to do more with my life. I've lived a very unmotivated life and I want to change that today; do something with what time I've got left
I'm surprised so many networks turned down your idea! I'm super intrigued by it.
@@itzscarrot but that could happen with literally any show. That's not just something that could happen with his show.

I think that “Music is Everywhere” would be a dope ass show
It isn't the internet that killed TV. It's TV's own stupidity and its constant bet/assumption on its viewers' stupidity.
Good riddance if you ask me. The sooner, the better.
You show them Andrew.
True words spoken there. If you ask me, Andrew Huang escaped a sinking ship... TV.
TV has to cater to as many people as it can, whereas the internet/UA-cam can afford to get more niche, and in my opinion produces something that's interesting on a deeper level than the format of TV could ever offer.
I'm gonna guess that he pitched it to internet TV like Netflix and the likes. Not cable tv.
This should have been a thing forever ago. It's so inspiring to hear music everywhere. It's absolutely beautiful. Incredible
Got me teared all up with your last song, thanks so much Andrew, that was straight out of your heart
Yes hit me deeply in the heart
Im only 1/3 through the video and Im already convinced I want to watch every season of this. Some of my favorite work from you!
This channel is so inspiring every day. You probably won’t see this, but it’s griped amazing how much you make me continue to fall in love with music. Thanks so much.
Fluffy unicorns dancing on rainbows isn’t gonna be a TV show?
Perhaps Pink Fluffy Unicorns Dancing on Rainbows is

It already has its acronym. PFUDOR. Just like GOT, BB, TWD, etc
now I know exactly what I want to be
thank you for inspiring me, andrew
keep on doing what you’re doing and keep your head held high. you’re a real treasure and I hope you live a long and happy life
Andrew is the very definition of a madlad, he made something when no one else wanted to.
Big facts, father.
Twice you commented you legend
hey justin do u ever not watch every single video uploaded on UA-cam...
We need more minds like yours, Andrew.
@@nissairving397 I was just talking to my wife about this, and hopefully we can save up and go for a vacation. Thanks for the kind words 🙂
Jake Lionheart I wish you the best of luck and hope you are able to ( ^ω^)
The song at the end just absolutely touched me so deep for some reason, absolutely amazing work andrew!
damn, that was really touching in the end.
You should try pitching you show in the netherlands we have had some shows like this but only 1 or 2 were about music and none of them had your amazing view and artistry + your show is way more about modern music and will attract more young people whereas the shows that weve had were more for older people and like highly educated people.
I don't really listen to a lot of music with vocals in that kind of style, but that ending song was beautiful.
These two trips--music is everywhere, it felt amazing. Like you really captured your feelings about the place, the warmth of the people that surrounded you. Your love for those things and for the music, I felt everything.
Hope to see more of that, my dude.
Andrew can make anything. Not only does he recognize that, but he acts on it and has so much drive to just keep going at it forever.
Some real art love this show!
Damn, Andrew... right in the feels once again... Thanks for sharing greatness...
Love from the Netherlands!
Beautiful video. I’m glad you just decided to go for it. You don’t need no TV execs. :)
Andrew is so inspirational and inspiring. I’ve been going though some tough times recently but Andrew really made me feel alive today.
Keep inspiring people Andrew. And thank you for making the world a better place.
Yeah, more like this. I can't believe this idea would get turned down even once!
Omg this show just makes those songs so much more emotional! Really enjoyed them ^^ and really looking forward to the next episode!
An hour after watching this, I'm still motionless, thinking about it's content and the music. Fabulous and inspiring.
As a Dutch person, seeing someone from another country be so enamored with my little country always makes me remember how good we have it here. I guess I and others here sometimes forget that.
Thanks Andrew, loving your channel!
Amazing.
The tv producers didn't seem to realize that everything you touch turns into gold.
They missed out on something big...
I can imagine the family and friends you stayed with will treasure this video you made dearly. It's very touching.
Ok, but this video is so COOL. I really freaking love this idea and I hope this series continues like yes.
AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH, it's so good! I would watch every episode of this show!
That guitar song at the end (I forget the title) takes on a whole new meaning with your explanation of it. It's so good!
you say "you make music" as if music doesnt inspire and connect people more than any powerful and successful person ever can
you're selling yourself short, man.
He even said "I play music"
He is 100% selling himself short.
@@Skidvicious13 I wish someone could give him the longest hug possible, and say to him: "Your doing great son. your gonna go far."
Well it can seem like that sometimes. Music school or art in general is viewed by many as the place people go to if they can't do science. In fact if you say you do any form of art, most people would probably tell you to get a real job..
@@void3381 i thought music was a science because we can manipulate frequencies with instruments and to create sound waves, pleasing to the human ear.

That song alnost made me cry. It really is one of the most beautiful pieces I've ever heard: conposition- and lyric-wise. Absolutely astonishing!

Excellent dude 👏 Excited and inspired by your journey!
your music production and videos are on another level. Thank you.
Andrew this is absolutely beautiful. As a Dutch person living abroad, this pulled so many heart strings it's making me cry. I love the little snippets you show of The Netherlands in combination with your stunning sound. It feels like home.
If he crowd funded an entire series I bet it would reach it's goal. Then he could also produce the whole thing. Andrew knows what his audience wants.
This is now my favourite Netflix series.
There's so much power in this song
Love it❤️
You are one of the main reasons i want to start a career in music, i have so many good ideas that are inspired by videos you've done, thank you for the amazing videos
I want this to be shown in tv

Thank you Andrew!!!
hhhhhhhhhh I came back to see how you were doing and I wasn't expecting to cry in the end skdkekskekskekdkd THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS 💖
'The Flame' touched me so much..
I really don’t understand why business won’t let you do this. I do think it’s because they don’t think it’s that profitable, but I bet if they weren’t stuck up in their cash they would accept it. Keep doing you, Andrew, and maybe you’ll make it
Well if the show did (somehow) crash, and they recorded multiple episodes before release, they would lose out on hundreds of thousands of dollars and weeks of Time, and that would be ones that did release. @@itzscarrot Shut up
In my opinion he already made it, he says it himself. He is happy, and he is doing is own thing, with the people he loves. No tv show needed for that
It was beautiful. Thank you for sharing your wonderful gift of prose and notes.
No words… every sound and image were just AMAZING
Holy cramoly, this is literally the best example of why traditional TV is going to go out of business before long. Who can watch this and NOT end up feeling something inside? So many emotions, so amazing. This made me want to go to Holland, made me want to follow my dreams, made me want chocolate sprinkles for breakfast, made me want to buy the album, made me want to build that crazy bed in my daughters room where she doesn't have enough room for a bed and cupboards, made me feel at home. God damn Andrew, this is your best work.
Dope series idea love you man!

This show is just so inspireing, interesting and really touched my heart.
I want to be a musician in exactly the way it is showen in this video.
So if in 5-10 years on of my days look like that, I would be the just a happy and fulfilled soul.
