ABBA was a swedish pop group that leads in Europe and several countries of the world in 70s decade
ABBA is acronim with initial of their first names, and two couples too:
Agnetha (blonde singer)
Björn (guitarist songwriter)
Benny (barder pianist songwriter)
Anni Frida (brunette singer)
ABBA recording between 1972/1982, have more than 20 worldwide hits
and after more than 35 years return to studios and recording initialy two songs and finally a full new album Voyage released in last November 2021 that is a worldwide success Now (including four nominations to Grammys awards 2023)

Fernando" (1976) is slowly, and beautiful The best is the beauty of their vocal harmonies, with great solo intro by the brunette singer Frida, very soft at the whisper level but at a level of perfection
ABBA had already recorded "Dancing Queen" and it came from the success of "Mamma Mía"
It was the manager who convinced Them to record "Fernando" so as not to repeat the style (the brunette Frida had done it the year before on her solo album in Swedish, with other lyrics, and it was a big success)
The manager was right and everything was a great success, one after another in 1976, that gives ABBA three #1 consecutives in UK:
Mamma Mía ; Fernando ;
Dancing Queen
"Fernando" was a colossal success in Australia (14 weeks #1 surpassed the BEATLES with "Hey Jude") and #1 in U.S. Adult Contemporary
"Fernando" is, with "Chiquitita" the ABBA second greatest worldwide (only behind Dancing Queen)
and sell more than 10 millions singles all over the world
now I give You three good songs for a next reaction to ABBA, all #1 in UK
1) "Mamma Mía" (1976),
the icónic single before
2) "Dancing Queen" (1976), one of Their most power and happiest songs, and the follow single
