I've had my 2019 Rad Rover for close to a year and I love it. I'm on the Mojave Desert and the Rad Rover is my "get on the sand and explore" transport. The engineering and construction of these Rad bikes is wonderful. Shipped right to my gate, and directly out of the box, this bike has never had a problem. I'm almost 83, and this bike make me feel like i'm about 10 again!

I wonder if you really Loved riding this bike and are Still enjoying it? I hear so many people say it brings the desire to ride more often. That is unless your getting flats I suppose.
Can I use an adjustable stem to raise the handle bar on a RadMission 2 to make my ride more comfortable? If so, what size do I need. Will I have to change any cables.
Hi Fritz, I’m Adelaide, a senior from New Mexico high desert who is Just looking into electric bikes. I’m choosing the rad runner one Because it is single speed. I Believe that will help me learn. When I rode I rode beach cruisers but that was a pretty long time ago. Now I am 67 and Not in The Best of shape and feel the electric bike is the best soulution for me and my dog who can run along beside me as I peddle. Don’t worry, I live out in the middle of nowhere And I live in a private community that has a few acres or two. The area I live in is a haven for goat heads, mesquite thorns and cactus. I’ve already started my checkout so I can see how much this is going to cost me and I see you have the tannus armour and I added it to my cart but I fear that won’t be Enough protection from this Very prickly neck of the woods. I spent my formative years in Seattle. It was the home town of my father and His mother so you guys being a Seattle company touches my heart Plus my sister had bought two of your radwagons, her and her partner did. It would be Really nice if you guys offered tannus solid tires to go inside the armour. That much protection Might allow me to ride the desert trails…….lol won’t That be fun. I’m glad I discovered your business. The desire for the personal electric vehicle was already there.

ps. I like a high handle bar as I have a bad back and also makes vision in front of you better. also use a locked hexagon clamp on seat post if you don't want your saddle stolen.
Are these adjustments the same for all rad ebikes? Waiting for my radmini, and want to have as much knowledge about adjusting prior to getting it so I can get on it quickly without having to hunt for videos after it arrives.
Hey J H, thanks for this question! Most of the bike fitting adjustments are same for most models, but the RadMini handlebars have a fixed stem meaning they cannot be adjusted forward. My RAD 4 folding style ebike’s handlebar raising quick clamp broke. Trying to find a replacement, but sizing seems wrong. Anyone know what size clamp will work to replace it? The bike is useless now because it won’t close as tight as needed to hold the handle bars in line with the front tire.

Btw, you Probably already know this but you guys are plumb out of All the comfort upgrades, or just about. I’m on the waiting list for the products your out of but I Suspect I will need to get a good seat and shock post before your come in. Covid seemed to affect us in many ways. I bought a new refrigerator a few months back and had to settle for a black one which in My mind is the Worst color for this area. Black holds heat and sure enough one day I touched the fridges down it was so hot I thought it must be broken but it was just the sun coming in the window. It had absorbed a Lot of heat. Why Anyone would want That problem on a device that is Intended to cool is beyond me.

I have a Rad City 4. Everytime the bike turns off (by itself or manually)
the trip meter resets.
I wish they could fix this!
You can track your mileage by using a bike app or Google Maps.
Witch models can give me a more upright riding position?

I use accelerator twist to start my Rad from rest. not smooth, though.
