LEXUS RCF vs Shelby GT350

not the greatest angle shot and will attempt to run again in the future. 40 roll ~ Lexus took the hit and was ahead Shelby started to reel in until about 98-100 MPH~ How do you compare the two? Shelby has about 526 HP higher displacement and less weight than the 472 HP 3900 LB RCF.

Not suprised here. The GT350 should continue to pull up top though the Lexus 8 speed trans will out shift virtually any driver

Gear ratios and auto transmission favor the RCF. Also, RCF has a full exhaust so it is making close to 500 HP based on what RCFs typical gain from exhaust.

@@fordmaster50 That race is highly questionable. The AMG GTS runs 11.2 - 11.3 seconds@128 mph. Either the GT350 is modded extensively or the AMG GTS driver does not know what he is doing to have the GT350 walking away like that.

They're basically the exact same, dohc v8s with 6-8 speed transmissions , relatively similar weights but the lexus got to have a nice toasty/cooled ass while he kept up with the gt 350

Good transmission in the lexus I think a 10 speed mustang would be a better matchup.

I know it’s not a GT I have a RCF and I’m saying even in expert mode I’ve had mustang GTs keep up .... so how is that you are keeping up with a GT350 in other words. I have a Full Meisterschaft exhaust on a liquid silver RCF with performance package and RR tune .

SM_RCF 2019 my friends 2019 sport 2 package GT mustang with only an aftermarket exhaust . They are quick AF and GT350s manual or not have way more HP I’ve raced those too that dude must shift super slow because they are nasty with a good driver . I like my RCF but it’s way to heavy of a car . I go by this same name on club Lexus forum . I have an RR tune and waiting on PPE equal length headers to get end of June .

irob rf yes they gt350 has more power but since it's manual there is user error and it's a little harder to launch properly at lower rolls. The gearing and the ratios of the new mustang GT's are simply superior. They are faster at lower rolls and street speeds. I'd argue the mustang gt 2019 performance is faster then the gt350 0-60 & quarter miles. But at the end of the day all the cars are so similar it can come down to driver. If gt350 driver cant shift auto will win every time.

40 rolls the worst roll in the car a 50 or 60 roll is where the car shines 40 roll is around 4000 rpm in second gear
