Sure thing, there are a couple of ways to access the white balance. I find the quickest way is to use the multi function button at the top of the camera just in front of the shutter release. Tap this once and then on the top lcd screen you get a new range of options, use the mode dial to navigate to white balance and then the top scroll wheel just behind the multi function button to move left and right and choose which white balance setting you want. You could also access the white balance from the touch screen at the back of the camera when you tap on the Q button on the top right corner.
I have been able to apply what learned here to my new EOS-R and it is very helpful. I do have one question: Exposure Bracketing (AEB) is a feature that I use regularly and would like to streamline access to it. I can't find a way to do this. I had hoped that I could save my entire AEB setup on one of the Custom Mode settings (1-3) but the camera will not remember this mode. Also, if I could just get to an AEB choice on the info menu that would work (although less desirable) but I can't find away to make AEB show up on any of the info screens. Can you offer any advice where this is concerned?
Great glad you found it helpful. With regards to accessing AEB I only know how to do it from the main menu. You can configure it on the orange screen 6 by setting how many bracketed shots and if it is to turn off automatically after use or stay on. Then go to Tab 3 under the 1st Menu to turn it on and configure the increments of exposure. However I can't find anyway to assign it to any buttons to turn it on an off. So the only way I know is to go to the menu screen and turn it on. Depending on the settings you opted for in the Orange menu it will either stay on for all shots or turn off then you have to go in and re-activate it each time you want to use it.
@@Touchtechnologyreview Thank you for this. Just moments ago, after getting better acquainted with the Custom settings feature (1-3), I was actually able to use one of them to store my desired settings for AEB and it retained everything perfectly! Thank you for your help with this. Your videos are always among my favorite. Well done.
Thanks for checking out the video. I see what you mean, that would be nice to do. However I don't believe there is any way to adjust the sensitivity of the touch bar at this stage.
Great video with lots of information. You can chat to the helpful team at Http://www.canon.co.uk/canonlive/live-chat for more for any more ideas
Thanks so much.
Wonderful video. I also just received my new EOS-R this morning and your video was very helpful. Many thanks. You have a new fan.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks so much for watching! Congrats on the EOS R!
Not a single function assigned to the “AF point selection” button in the video recording mode works, namely when shooting (in pause mode, it works).
Very clear. Thanks mate.
Great to hear. You’re welcome👍
Playback speed 1.75 makes this video so much better
Haha
Great video, thanks. Just got an R today and loving how customisable it is. I was surprised by how much I like the multi function bar, it's great.
Great stuff.Yes I agree, love the multi function bar. Enjoy the new camera!
Hey man, awesome video, I was looking for a image enhancement company that can help with mass volume any recommendations?
Thanks so much. Greatly appreciated! Do you mean photo editors to handle mass edits of your work?
Thank you for the video.
Can you please explain how to change the WB buy one of the buttons because I didn't see it?
Thank you!

@@PJ-ee5mc Great to hear that. That would make it so much easier to access!
Must admit - I keep going back to this video. Helps greatly.
That is great to hear. Thanks so much!
Great video! Is there any way to change the sensitivity of the touch and drag focus in relative mode? I would like it to be more sensitive.

Great video, very useful
