Perfect timing. Two days ago I decided to take a walk in the woods. I’ve known these woods my whole life, but recently I haven’t visited them. So I’m walking, smoking a J, listening to the sounds of nature. I made a well known to me turn. After half a km I realized I don’t recognize my surroundings at all. I knew that it’s impossible that I just teleported, and I was certain I took the correct turn. I knew there should be an intersection right ahead, so I decided to push on, but as I was walking forward I got increasingly uneasy. I started to look around, and really pay attention to my surroundings. When I returned my gaze to look straight ahead I realized that someone was standing in the middle of the path. It was a tall slim person, dressed in all black, except for orange vest. I didn’t know what to do, but I kept slowly walking forward. I mean it’s not like it was a really remote part of the woods, and even tho it was really really rare to see other people there, it’s not like it was impossible. I kept walking, but then I realized that this person was still just standing there motionless, watching me. I slowly moved forward, but they just kept standing there. After a few more seconds I got so uncomfortable I couldn’t bear it anymore. I turned on my heel, and started walking back. Every few steps I was looking over my shoulder. They were still standing there when I took a turn…
Man the unknown of what would have or could have happened would make me nuts. But stay happy my friend you took the safer path which enabled us to hear you really cool experience. and happening while hiz eye phew what a moment!
Not in Canada. Skinwalkers are a Navajo tradition, mostly existing around the American Southwest. If it's gonna be anything supernatural, it's more likely to be a wendigo up there.
The noise the hunters heard could have been a pack of wolves because when we hear this " scream" a second time right before it stops again it kind of sounds like a wolf howling but I don't know why it sounds so loud and why it sounds like someone screaming but that's what I think it is
The hunters did indeed hear a "Sasquatch call" Im not suggesting that they heard an actual Sasquatch, but possibly another "Sasquatch hunter" calling out as loud as possible. Someone else trying to lure the elusive if not fictional beast out of hiding.
Definitely was a Cougar’s scream (mountain Lion or bobcat, same animal). If you hear them, leave the area ASAP, or you might see them up close and personal.
Lived in Alaska almost ten years, men (16-26) are six times more likely to die there, time to medical access and deep cold in winter and in summer it's a giant swamp! 3 million lakes! Common saying there, "He's gone missing!" When asking about someone!

Right away before I even see a story, that stock photo of the "haunted mansion" looks eerily similar to an abandoned house that's probably been uninhabited for 60+ years in the woods near my mom's house. The only difference is the foliage is so thick now you can barely see the house anymore and part of it collapsed in due to rot.
Unlike other content creators of this subject and genre, Be Amazed produces the best videos here. High frequency, good editing, good narrating, but most importantly factual information. More popular content creators like The Infographics Show and Bright Side feature more misinformation than, really, social media influencers. However, almost every single fact from this channel has been verified correct, and a scientific explanation is always given. This channel is a shining example of what a channel of this genre should be. Keep going, thank you, and you have earned a new subscriber!
There are two stories where I grew up about Hannah. One from the town ten miles away and one from the one I lived in, which terrified me, cuz I was 12 and taking my younger sisters trick or treating and a teenage girl dressed as the titular character from the legend followed me for ten minutes referring to me as "My child!" and... Hey, I was 12. Winsted - Hannah’s Grave - The story says that a woman named Hannah went crazy and killed her entire family. Afterward she felt so bad about it that she hung herself from a windmill. There were three windmills at her house and she hung herself from the middle one. Now whenever the wind is blowing the windmill in the middle blows the opposite way. There are actually a few places in the region with triple windmills, so the story may or may not be true.
Its amazing how even in this day and age and with great camera technology, when it comes to strange unidentified things- no one can ever take a clear photo...
Very few people have great camera technology. Most people have phones with cameras that take great selfies. Photos of anything at a distance, especially in a very 3D environment like a forest, come out really crappy on phones.
How could anyone tear down a two story building with all that stuff inside, overnight and not leave a trace. No tire tracks or footprints. Thats just weird.
I'm thinking it had to be more than one person who took it down - or else the guy who discovered it thought he came back to the right spot, but he didn't.
The banana spider around the 22 minute mark is completely harmless. We actually handle them frequently out here in the Texas country to freak out city people who are not aware of their docile nature. The females get very large (for a web spider) when they're about to spin their egg sacks so it makes for some good jokes.
Are you crazy!!!!!!! No no no they are extremely venomous Google it. If it looks like the banana spider aka Brazilian wandering spider they will kill you if it bites be careful!!!
A number of different spiders are called "banana spider." Most of them are harmless, yeah. One of them, the Brazilian wandering spider... well, depending on who you ask, the deadliest spider in the world is either that or the Sydney funnel web. Depending on where they were camping, it could be *very* scary.

My channel is full of old houses in the woods, they're more common then you'd think, usually nothing too sinister about them, I find them eerily peaceful
Eerily peaceful..... 911 Language police.... Someone is using these 2 words together as a statement, I am sure it's illegal..... How are you connecting the 2.... Just Pick 1 either they are eerily or they are peaceful.... It's like being energetically exhausted.
@@sheyshey1306 I bet you're fun at parties.... In answer to your comment, humans are actually quite capable of holding conflict thoughts, feelings and emotions at the same time. It's a kind of cognitive dissonance. For example the German concept of "Angslust" is often applied to abandoned places, and is the idea you can be drawn to and yet repulsed by something simultaneously So I can find places, eerie and peaceful at the same time. I can also feel it's quite eerie that I find places in that state peaceful. The phrase works on many levels. So please, continue to enjoy your limited and prescriptive use of language, but for the sake of everyone, give the "." Key a rest, your keyboard will thank you.
when i wander the hills in west virginia i love coming across old houses like these. i'd say this one was built circa 1900 as it looks similar to the one i own. eerily peaceful is a perfect discription. i also like wandering and finding very old family cemeteries. some wonderful history there. enjoy your wanderings!
@@The_Bearded_Wanderer I appreciate your reply and the fact that, that phrase exist, but you must admit those 2 words should not belong together, because sometimes eerie is something that unsettles you and engages your flight response , yet something peaceful is something that settles you, gives you peace, a sense of safety. And the other leaves you in an unease state..... How then, can you feel centred in such a conflicting state..... Surely it's impossible, no? Imagine the building is ablaze and you are stood inside it... Do you, have a sit down to keep yourself warm because it's the middle of winter and being at the centre stage of the fire gives the perfect vantage were heat is equally distributed to your entire body, and so forth and so forth ? 🧐 Do you keep warm or do you flee? So yes, at the end of the day, my statement of calling the language police might be somewhat, humorous but the fact remains at the core of it, you are left in a singular state dispite curiosity, which means your curiosity has led you to ignore your other state, because surely you must explore further...... As powerful as curiosity is, you have abandoned 1 state of being and your mind must compensate for the situation you have left your self in...... So, is the place eerie or peaceful? Do you dare to spend the night there? Or are you greatly unsettled so much so, it has surpassed your curiosity? If you can answer these questions truthful, you will discover that the state of being eerily peaceful, is a term your minded has coined to justify your actions as to why you, choose to remain in that place.... Oh and "....." means there is more to be said but I will stop here, and this will allow your brain to understand that, they are more factors at play, ones not particularly relevant, but relevant in the grand scheme of things, allowing your brain to factor in the missing information, thereby leading to a conclusion. So I ask again is it eerie (you are unsettled to a point of never ending unrest) or is it peaceful (you welcome the opportunity to remain there until the very end because it leaves you in a state of complete calmness, a safety, a sense of security you dare not leave the place) ? Which is it peaceful or eerie...... The 2 do not and will never co-exist unless you are somehow, able to move your physical body from point A to point B, without moving a muscle and without aid... Can you breathe while holding your breath? Can you walk while laying down, can you exist and at the same time not exist? Are you the embodiment of Schrodinger's cat? For this is the only state that allows you to be physically, eerily peaceful. So I ask again what state are you in?
@@sheyshey1306 oh, do stop being a sea lion. You understand what I was conveying, and so does everyone else. If you want to go around trying to act intellectually superior to everyone with your command of English. Go and do it elsewhere. I have no desire to continue this fruitless debate.
the cabin in the woods might be dangerous in the States, but in my country, those little huts are built as a refuge for hikers... some actually work and strengthen it, some just stay there and keep it tidy, some leave behind non-perishable food or tools or other useful stuff, for the next mountain lovers to find and use.
You should check out the cross at Patterson Road in Houston Texas. There’s a giant cross carved into the tree line in the forest. I went to it as a high schooler. Wild!
When we were in our very late teens, we used to stay at a shack in a place called Beenak in the Dandenongs (mountains) out of Melbourne Australia. The area was rain forest and beautifully lush with huge tree ferns, so pretty. We got up there one night to stay, went into the shack (it belonged to the scouts and we had permission to go there) we got into the shack and there was blood smeared everywhere with some remnants of some poor animal on the floor. We all stood there so shocked for a minute, then got the heck out. It was like some awful sacrifice! No staying there that night. The other weird thing that happened that night was when we pulled into the long track to take us to the shack the radio in the car stopped working and as soon as we left it came back on at the same location. Had never happened before. This was 1980. We did go back and the shack was clean. Weird!
You went back!? Always knew Aussies were nuts 😂 (Jk, I had an "adopted big sis" from outside of Sydney - quite outside it... We always took the p out of each other. 😊)
This channel is just great. Dustin Henderson approves lol. - A Stranger Things Fan But, one time in the woods, I heard someone scream so loud it echoed across the city. Got any theories?
The abandoned house reminds me of Another Code, a videogame where you explore an abandoned mansion that was property of the Edward family. A chilling coincidence.
That’s just a myth. They simply aren’t poisonous to humans. Their fangs are long enough to puncture human skin too. Also, they definitely won’t keep other spiders away. They’re great for keeping insects away though.
When I was a teen, I was crossing through woods to get to my friend's neighborhood and heard that exact same scream. It freaked me out because there's nothing in this area I could think of it being and it happened just the same way as the video: same scream 100% and kept getting closer. I hadn't been in those woods for a few years, so of course, I got lost trying to find the old path as that scream got closer. Idk what it is, but as soon as I watched that clip, I immediately had to share this. My first thought was that it was something like an ape when I heard it.
So the cabin was very very deep in the woods, and camouflaged well enough so as barely visible from ten feet away... Yet still...he just HAD to exert his power by putting an eviction notice on it. How absurd.
and since switzerland had probably the most sophisticated nuclear war protection effort and counter invasion, not unusual that ppl still have ponchos and gas masks. the most unusual thing about this story is that it got attention. probably non swiss tourists just spotted the guy and got spooked :) hell, could have been part of an army excercise
Im canadian. When you see enough wendigos, nothing scares you, not even spiders. Also, the scream is a prank that was started by some teens in vancouver that spread all over canada, with some people even useing endustrial speakers to play spooky music in the middle of a forest.and yes, I know the guy who started it. His name is tavish, or at least thats who we credit it to. The tree face ( the first one) is an art installation near Harrison hot springs, and its really fun to walk through.

I was wondering if it might be a coyote or a somewhat similar animal howling, but I’m no wildlife expert. Maybe my dad knows. I’ll just go wake him up… 😁
The scary scream is a mating call either from a bird like a turkey or a canine like a wolf or a smaller canine it’s too high pitched to be anything bigger
As someone else pointed out, the "screaming" might have been an elk. I think it sounded multi-tonal, like a pack of wolves but distorted somehow. It's also possible that it was some form of a skyquake.
Fun fact: chances are, you won't have anything to worry about Second fun fact: just camp in a campground, they would have noticed if anything was wierd by now Third fun fact: It's probably a bird or a fox, they all have very odd calls, and the wind probably carried the sound echoing past the trees and getting distorted by the rigidness of the road

Did you go again to see if the turn you took was correct?

The screaming in the forest could be a skinwalker.
Not in Canada. Skinwalkers are a Navajo tradition, mostly existing around the American Southwest. If it's gonna be anything supernatural, it's more likely to be a wendigo up there.
Nuh uh
The noise the hunters heard could have been a pack of wolves because when we hear this " scream" a second time right before it stops again it kind of sounds like a wolf howling but I don't know why it sounds so loud and why it sounds like someone screaming but that's what I think it is
The abandoned house in the middle of the woods is actually sad. Someone lived there once, had memories there, and now it’s all but faded from time.

That guy on the thumbnail is so cute give him a hug :3
The hunters did indeed hear a "Sasquatch call" Im not suggesting that they heard an actual Sasquatch, but possibly another "Sasquatch hunter" calling out as loud as possible. Someone else trying to lure the elusive if not fictional beast out of hiding.
8:48 the screams could be a mountain lion. They sometimes sound like humans and other animals screaming.
Love your content!!! ❤❤❤
That's what I was thinking. Or a bobcat. Although theirs is usually a little higher pitched.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking
It definitely sounds like an animal to me. It would still be creepy to hear in person.
For me it just sounds like a wolf's howl that got a bit altered by the echo and some other environmental circumstances before it reached the hunters.
Definitely was a Cougar’s scream (mountain Lion or bobcat, same animal). If you hear them, leave the area ASAP, or you might see them up close and personal.

The past week, BE AMAZED opened the X Files from the dusty closet 😂

Its amazing how even in this day and age and with great camera technology, when it comes to strange unidentified things- no one can ever take a clear photo...
blurry images lead us to our imagination where our minds create different interpretations of what we see. Thus adding validity to the hoax.
Very few people have great camera technology. Most people have phones with cameras that take great selfies. Photos of anything at a distance, especially in a very 3D environment like a forest, come out really crappy on phones.
😂👍
How could anyone tear down a two story building with all that stuff inside, overnight and not leave a trace. No tire tracks or footprints. Thats just weird.
I'm thinking it had to be more than one person who took it down - or else the guy who discovered it thought he came back to the right spot, but he didn't.
Seriously, including the concrete block foundation too, and not leave a trace. I call BS.
@darrylterry4202 I did hear this story from another video. But yeah, I call bs too.

For example the German concept of "Angslust" is often applied to abandoned places, and is the idea you can be drawn to and yet repulsed by something simultaneously
So I can find places, eerie and peaceful at the same time.
Do you keep warm or do you flee?

That thing with the banana spider wasn't spooky. It was freaking hilarious!
Weird!

Daddy long legs are the most poisonous, but their mouths are too small to bite us so I like having them around to keep other spiders away. :)
That’s just a myth. They simply aren’t poisonous to humans. Their fangs are long enough to puncture human skin too.
Also, they definitely won’t keep other spiders away. They’re great for keeping insects away though.
Staircases in the woods fascinate me. I want to hear more eye witness stories about them!
I really do hope "the ghost in the cloak" has found a more secluded place and is ok
So the cabin was very very deep in the woods, and camouflaged well enough so as barely visible from ten feet away... Yet still...he just HAD to exert his power by putting an eviction notice on it. How absurd.
For the one screaming SOUNDS like wolves but wolves are my WHOLE THING and it’s not a wolf.

Im canadian. When you see enough wendigos, nothing scares you, not even spiders. His name is tavish, or at least thats who we credit it to. The tree face ( the first one) is an art installation near Harrison hot springs, and its really fun to walk through.
