The "Well under the floor" story reminded me of an eerie story Paul Harvey told one time about a family that had bought a home in Kansas. Years went by and a place on the floor got bad and needed replacing. So, thinking it would be a simple 2-3 hour job he measured and cut and somehow a peace went down through the small hole he had cut. He got a flashlight and shined it down through the hole and saw nothing. So he cut the hole larger and shined a bigger light down in it thinking it was a basement he didn't know they had. When his larger light didn't reveal anything, he called the fire department and with their high powered flood lights revealed the house was built over a salt mine shaft that went a thousand feet down. Now THAT is a deep basement.

My friends moved into a house in southern Indiana. In the basement there was a really strange room. It had a 2 way mirror, door that locked only from the outside and had what was basically a makeshift toilet. They never went down there after seeing it.
Can confirm the one about the guy who fell in the well through the floor. It happened in my hometown in Connecticut. I have friends in the fire department there who responded to the call. It was the friend of the owner who was just moving into their new house. Yet another reason to not help your friends move lol.
Hey Be Amazed! Here is an interesting story for you. I moved into a 110 year old house, and hidden down in the basement behind some glass doors descised to look like a cabinet, I found a second part of the basement almost the size of the rest of my house! Eight years later I still don't know what it is or what it's for. It looks like someone hung out in it, and right inside I found hundreds of shotgun shells!
I also had the creepy experience of finding old razor blades in my bathroom wall once! In 1999, I purchased a home that had been built in 1954 as a “fixer-upper” and found the creepiness when I removed the old metal medicine cabinet to replace it with a new one..... I was really unnerved by it until I asked an older friend about it and she said that that was how people used to discard them!
My house was abandoned for 5 years with no one going there and the first day I moved in there where millions of bugs coming from holes, we sealed all the holes with flex seal but they kept coming, then we found a secret passage that led into our old house (which was 90 yards down the street) and there was a whole nest of them If your wondering the bugs were they were spiders
My friend has a haunted painting in her house, any time she takes it out weird things happen like banging inside the walls and random knocking on doors
The one about the cat reminds me of a story i read somewhere where a long time ago people used to think it was good luck with houses or businesses to seal a live cat under the floorboards. Poor things.
The creepiest thing we had in our home growing up was the Grandmom of the people who lived there before us in the 1920s , ghost , she was about 4 foot 5 inches with long hair and a dress that went all of the way to the floor , we also had a hidden room , I figured that out because when I was around 10 years old on the outside of the house there were 7 windows but on the inside , there were only 6 windows and the "extra" window was painted over from the inside , we got into the room when my dad tore out a wall to build a bar , it was a big house built in the 1880s in Maryland . You could not pay me a million dollars to take one step inside , the same goes for most of my family ( brothers , sisters , and especially my mom )
Have you guys hear of “Disappointment rooms? Where way back any affluent family who’d give birth to any sort of disabled child in any way, would lock them away and make no mention of their existence. Sadly, it could’ve been one. I truly hope it wasn’t but there’s always the possibility..

I rushed to the basement and again saw or heard nothing. So I went back up and my cereal was gone. We later installed cameras and saw someone has been living in my old house. They have been stealing food from the fridge and cabinet. We called the cops and they got arrested. Turns out he was a person known to live in houses in the past. We moved out a few hours later
Six years ago when I moved in another house I found behind my door a little "door", when I opened it there was an piece of paper With the words "hello whoever you are :) "
When I lived in the islands we had bats living in our walls. Best set of neighbors they don't complain, dont make noise and take care of bugs trying to come in the house. And at night you can watch them fly out the cracks. It was cool.
I once left my room and went downstairs to find a shopping bag full of doritos and chocolate bars. Don't know how it got there but seems like once a week these shopping bags show up with snacks and groceries

I've always wanted a secret passage in my house. Some of these would be awesome!
I've found nothing creepy about my home since we built it from scratch and I'm so glad I've never had to deal with that
or is it?
you never know if some underground basement is hiding deep below.

Another great privelege of rich folks i guess
(3:53) This is called phrogging. Phrogging is the act of living in someone’s house without them knowing.

Salute to those people who watched this 22 minute basement stories even tho they don’t have basement in their houses
I have a mummified cat like the one shown. Found it about 40 years ago in an old barn. In a curled position, about to lick, it's paw and that is how its life ended. I've given it a good home ever since.
My house has an attic that we've never been in and I've never wanted to go in there so much until now
Do not be afraid of the darkness. The darkness is harmless. It is the horrors that lay in wait within said darkness... those are the ones you are supposed to fear. lol
@@adamgray1753 I fear no darkness, I fear the spiders promised from the darkness -and maybe the possibility of finding a body-
The corpse poses no real danger to you unless if it is in your water supply and/or gets up off the floor then charges at you, @@ily2m803. With finding a mere corpse your next door neighbors will hear your scream. With the seeming angry corpse charging at you those at the end of the street will easily hear your scream. lol As for your spider bit, O r a n g e, very much understandable, man. Especially those escape artist type spiders. Good luck sleeping anytime soon!
@@adamgray1753 If a corpse got up and started charging at me id just accept death with open arms at that point-
And sleep will not be happening any time this year, thank you
Thank you, @@ily2m803, for a much needed laugh too. Hopefully you have gotten at least some entertainment out of our posts so far.
I've been fighting for years to convince people that what made me and my mom sick was the toxic black mold we were exposed to, and yet here's an example right here in the first 3 minutes. Smh
A lot of these aren’t even creepy ?! Just cool ass old history ! I wouldn’t be CREEPED out to find a whole ancient underground village was under my house but amazed. Same with the old man finding all his families old belongings! Thats awesome
So you’re ok with me installing secret cameras in ur house? Ok cool thanks see u soon👍

I found a hidden room in my basement under the front porch. Was expecting a small crawl space and found a 7'x16' room and 8' tall.

The scariest thing in my home is my sanity. It will disappear then appear.
Funny
Dang I’m almost first also have a good day
It's scary cause appears? 😄

🤣🤣🤣🤣 best comment!!👏👏
If I found a secret tunnel under my house I'm asking "How much we talking"
It wouldnt be fully on your property and no one would need to pay you a penny.
My friends moved into a house in southern Indiana. In the basement there was a really strange room. It had a 2 way mirror, door that locked only from the outside and had what was basically a makeshift toilet. They never went down there after seeing it.
Hello random stranger scrolling down the comments, just wanna say that ur a bloody legend.

If I found someone in my basement me : get the gun
What makes you think you would even make it to your gun.
Umm 😐 are you ok
But we don't have any
Can confirm the one about the guy who fell in the well through the floor.
Me: I’m first
Everyone: *N O O N E C A R E S !*
Ur first

You weren't even first

The underground city is amazing. It’s surreal to think of the people who lived there.
This is really nice. Thank you for the content to make me feel more happier! Stay safe everyone and have a great day ;)!
So much history in these houses, I think some of these are cool! Makes you wonder what they were used for ya know.
lmao ur channel is soo good i m always like ok last vid then time to work but i get another interesting suggestion and this cycle continues
The cripeist thing that I have ever found in my house was a very old toy of Ronald-Mc-Donald
Omg! Omg! SO scary 😰
EH. NOOOOO PLEASE NOO

My gosh creepy
The creepiest thing is that somebody spells cripeist
Timeout room theory: the priest trapped people who didn’t want to believe in Christianity, inside of the room.

Knowing the catholic church i guess it was rather for kidnapping kids..
Well u can't force people lol

And the camera thing, I've thought about that so many times, anytime I stay somewhere else
Thank you for giving me nightmares
These are really giving me the chills
My house was abandoned for 5 years with no one going there and the first day I moved in there where millions of bugs coming from holes, we sealed all the holes with flex seal but they kept coming, then we found a secret passage that led into our old house (which was 90 yards down the street) and there was a whole nest of them
If your wondering the bugs were they were spiders

That underground city I would definitely take advantage of it. Having a ticketed tour through the ancient city
The creepiest thing I’ve found in my house is a unopened bag of chips in the kitchen.
Husband: "This house is beautiful!
Wife: "Wow..there're Alters to Evil in the basement!
Husband: "Too bad we can't stay"
My friend has a haunted painting in her house, any time she takes it out weird things happen like banging inside the walls and random knocking on doors
The forgotten city under the house is a terrifying maze
Wish i found hidden caves under my house, great way to hide from the spouse when they're in a bad mood. Wonder if I could get cable installed.
I genuinely am concerned for you if you actually have a blinking red
light on your ceiling fan (22:03)
What happenes if you have a red bunking light on your fire alarm?
The first one was most likely some idiot thinking they can build a air raid shelter
5:38 for all we know he’s lucky there wasn’t any aggressively demonic entity’s inside.
The one about the cat reminds me of a story i read somewhere where a long time ago people used to think it was good luck with houses or businesses to seal a live cat under the floorboards. Poor things.
I would love to find an underground chapel or city in my house.
I've lived in my house for 15+ years and we've got squirrels in the attic everything the landlord has done hasn't stopped them from getting in
The creepiest thing we had in our home growing up was the Grandmom of the people who lived there before us in the 1920s , ghost , she was about 4 foot 5 inches with long hair and a dress that went all of the way to the floor , we also had a hidden room , I figured that out because when I was around 10 years old on the outside of the house there were 7 windows but on the inside , there were only 6 windows and the "extra" window was painted over from the inside , we got into the room when my dad tore out a wall to build a bar , it was a big house built in the 1880s in Maryland . You could not pay me a million dollars to take one step inside , the same goes for most of my family ( brothers , sisters , and especially my mom )
9:27 my theory about that little room in the atic is that it was a torture room
Yeah that would make alot of sense
Have you guys hear of “Disappointment rooms? Where way back any affluent family who’d give birth to any sort of disabled child in any way, would lock them away and make no mention of their existence. Sadly, it could’ve been one. I truly hope it wasn’t but there’s always the possibility..

Same
It would be scary as well as exciting for me
I am scared of houses now all of them
I moved in a new house with my parents about 4 years ago, I kept hearing noises in my basement at night, so I went down and nothing, the next day I went to grab Cereal and again heard the noises.
Learned lesson: Don't buy a house BUILT YOUR OWN HOUSE
If you find a secret room do this
1: call an exorsist
2: after the exersisim , clean the room with holy water
3: renovation must take place

When I lived in the islands we had bats living in our walls. Best set of neighbors they don't complain, dont make noise and take care of bugs trying to come in the house. And at night you can watch them fly out the cracks. It was cool.
I once left my room and went downstairs to find a shopping bag full of doritos and chocolate bars. Don't know how it got there but seems like once a week these shopping bags show up with snacks and groceries
